Gorgeous mountain retreat is a perfect way to describe this property. I found everything in the description of this property to be true. In my opinion Karla’s description was very humble and we found the property to be much better than expected. Entire family celebrated my father’s 90th birthday, and found the house plenty spacious for all of us. With full living space on the main level and downstairs we never felt crowded.The house was immaculate and very well stocked with items that were above and beyond any other property I’ve ever stayed in right down to the firewood. Directions were easy to follow and communication was always done in a timely fashion. If you want to relax, do nothing, enjoy the views this is the place for you. If you want to be active, go hiking, play golf, tennis, etc. this is the place for you. If you want to grill out and watch football with the gang, this place is for you. So if you have a large group, and you are looking for a mountain getaway, I recommend that you stop looking and book this property NOW!!

Beautiful and comfortable cabin! Everything was well maintained, clean, and modern. Quick walk or drive to downtown Clayton which is ADORABLE - tons of cute shops and restaurants. The swim spa is awesome and the property is lovely. Located across the street from a church that plays bells on the hour which was a sweet, small-town touch. Giant shower in the main bathroom was fabulous and parking was a breeze. Would love to stay here again in the future!

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely perfect! The cabin itself was gorgeous—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we needed. It was the ideal spot for our family to spend the holidays. The surrounding towns were charming and full of amazing places to visit. We especially loved exploring the nearby waterfalls and hiking trails, which added so much adventure and beauty to our trip. This getaway was everything we hoped for and more. We can’t wait to return!

Great place, plenty of room for all 3 generations of our family! Views and location were excellent. Fire pit, hot tub and blackstone grill were the icing on the cake!

What an absolutely beautiful/comfortable/cozy/well decorated home! There’s a wonderfully quaint stream so you’ll hear the running water all day/night. Gail was such an incredibly kind, reasonable & generous host. Super clean. Very responsive. Overall one of my family’s favorite Airbnb stay for the $$. It was hard to leave this place. We ended up extending our 6 day stay to an 8 day stay. Thanks again Gail 🙏

Lise was a flexible and responsive host. The home was very clean. There were supplies on hand to use. On a quiet culdasac and was very peaceful. Beds were comfy too.

This property is beautiful and the house is great! Lots of room to spread out. There is no lake access from the property, but there is a free public beach about 10 minutes away, small but not crowded. Our family had a restful time with games, movies, cooking, the beach, and shopping in Clayton, about 20 minutes away. When you get to the turn off of Burton Dam Road, gps says “turn onto Cherokee Ridge Drive” but it’s the driveway to the house. The house number is on Burton Dam Road. I had such a great stay at the Cove Stream House at Lake Rabun. The home is cozy, comfortable, and the view is spectacular. This was a wonderful place to unwind and relax for a long weekend. Scotty was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. I highly recommend!

We rented for our son's wedding in Clayton. The place was fabulous - lovely, quiet, everything we needed. The covered porch and views were the absolute best! Host was extremely responsive, super helpful, and very accommodating! We would highly recommend!

We had a weekend trip to the mountains planned originally to camp but when many storms were forecasted we found this gem of a place last minute. It’s on a beautiful plot by the river and very peaceful. Follow the directions when you get a few miles away as Map programs like Google will take you to the wrong place!!!

Christopher's place was beautiful, immaculate and incredibly peaceful. Every square inch of space is intentionally designed which simply adds to the gracefulness of the place. The fire-fueled hot tub is one of a kind and transports you back to a more rustic time and I used it all week. Perhaps the best part of all was falling asleep each night to the sound of the creek. Highly recommend.

Laurie’s home was very cozy and welcoming. I loved the porch and outdoor space - firepit and garden area. The home was close to downtown activities ( we walked for coffee shops in morning) yet was also felt remote and peaceful. Home was very clean and had what we needed. I would definitely stay here again for a two bedroom stay in the future. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful home.

My husband and I enjoyed staying in this house. The area that the house is located in is absolutely beautiful! The house was very clean and the hot tub was a bonus! This is a very nice place to enjoy spending time with your family! I would recommend it highly!

This place is definitely magic under the moon. The numerous available outdoor spaces (deck, fire pit, gazebo, seating) were very welcoming day and night. The 360 degree incredibly safe and private natural surrounding both inside and out was easy to settle into, wake up in, and feel right at home at. We were amazed to discover art supplies, an iron, our choice of two perfect rooms and double bathroom sinks, teas and coffees a plenty, just things way beyond our needs, but at the ready if wanted. We loved the eclectic decor which reflected Delphine's multifaceted kind giving personality. We bonded instantly with our host and she went truly above and beyond for us-providing and guiding!!! The outdoor cats are very sweet and the views are beautiful. Ask and you receve - Delphine is pure interesting delight!

I've stayed in many rental homes: This was hands down the most beautiful home. Really it is more like a sanctuary. The cool floors are lovely to walk on in bare feet. The color design matches the outdoors. My favorite spot was that glider/swivel chair looking at the view of the paladium window. The view is the stain glass of nature. The house has every little thing you need. The ultra plush primary bath had candles and spa sprays. Great books to read. Staying in this home affords quiet restful space. And Clayton is a fun town with lots to offer. Josh gave us very clear directions and I had the feeling he would respond quickly if needed. It was not needed as we just blissed out in this incredible space.

We had a great stay. The Perch Place was charming with cute bird decor throughout. It was clean and comfy. All of the windows let in lots of natural light. We cooked a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and enjoy them. The location was super convenient — close to town and Black Rock Mountain, and not far from some great hikes in North and South Carolina. The host was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. She did her best to make sure we had a great stay. The road to the cabin has a really sharp turn and the driveway is pretty steep so take it slow, especially if you’re arriving at night.

When planning our visit, we debated about staying in downtown Clayton or somewhere outside of town. We're SO glad we choose this lovely home. The set up was perfect for our two couples and two single women. The bedrooms are very spacious and well furnished. The kitchen was well stocked, even for cooking, which we did not really do. What we really loved was the setting in the midst of many trees with the beautiful fall colors! We used the fire pit and appreciated the ample supply of wood for the fire. There is also a wide porch with lots of space for dining or just hanging out. Two small notes for future renters. We were glad we arrived in the daytime, because the route after leaving the highway was a little tricky. We appreciated the Airbnb sign in the driveway! Also, just be aware that there is a flight of stairs up to the entry. This was not a problem for us. We highly recommend this stay! Great communication with the host, a peaceful setting, and only a short drive to town.

The review suggestion guide in the home equates 5 stars with “perfection doesn’t exist, but we’re happy”. Jill and this home challenge that notion. I’ve stayed in many airbnbs, and this one was by far the most thoughtfully and comprehensively stocked. I always use Airbnb kitchens to the fullest, and this was the first time that I didn’t feel like I was missing anything to be able to prepare whatever meal I wanted. The bathrooms provided nearly every conceivable amenity and toiletry, ample cleaning supplies and paper goods were made available for our stay, and everything was labeled and put together in the neatest possible way. The home itself is vintage yet updated, cozy yet spacious. The decorations are curated such that you feel as if you’ve been plucked from the world and placed into a different space altogether where only mountain time and vibes exists. Even the vintage crockery invites you to slow down and enjoy things the way Mawmaw and Pawpaw did. 10/10 all around
