Holiday rentals with a kayak in Rabun County

I couldn't be more pleased with my first AirBnB stay. The place was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. I wasn't expecting spices, dog toys, dog bowls, dog cot, etc. The fully fenced in yard, lake access, available kayaks, and privacy are the only things I wanted and this place sure supplied! the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit were huge bonuses. Also, met and talked with the neighbor who is super friendly 😉 I stayed alone the first half with my dogs and got my peace in. The second half a couple girl friends joined and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling out the this little island and throwing rocks, trying to fish, etc. Enjoying using the coloring supplies, games, and grill as well! It did storm most of the week, but even that was enjoyable! 10/10 experience for us all.

We had a great week! Beautiful view, spacious condo and very comfortable! The kids loved the pool and lake access both within walking distance. We also enjoyed paddle boarding and nearby hikes! Definitely recommend- we will be back.

Absolutely perfect. We stayed for the week with our five kids (6,4,3, & 1 year old twins) and had an amazing family vacation. The space worked perfectly for our needs as a large family with small kids and the beach area was especially perfect for toddler playtime. The waterfall across the way was stunning and we loved boating around, fishing, swimming, fires by the lake, and rainy evenings in the hot tub. Such an amazing place for families!

We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay in Bobby and Dina’s beautiful, river house and they were the perfect hosts! They were very responsive to questions and even offered area suggestions including a wonderful local butcher, for our BBQ night on the deck, listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. This home had everything we needed to prepare meals, very clean and tastefully decorated. We highly recommend this home for your trip to the Murphy area and would love to return when we have more time to fish & kayak!

This is our second time staying here for new years and it was great as usual. It is very peaceful at this property. Very clean and perfect for our group size. We would stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay here! It’s the perfect get away on the lake for big groups. It is in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need. 10/10 recommend!!

Perfect home for a family or group. Very spacious and clean, fully stocked kitchen we cooked dinner every night! The dock was perfect for tanning and swimming, our daughters also loved the kayaks and paddle board. Very peaceful location. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a lake trip! LOVED the stunning view off the back deck, very clean, private, quiet, comfy bed, everything was exceptional and in good working order. Windy one lane road up a steep hillside, but we found it with good directions from host. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

This place is a great location , stocked well and can walk to everything in town . Communicate great . We were in town for a wedding at Village on Green -so easy to get to everything.

We spent Easter weekend here. As we drove in the wild azaleas and dogwoods were blooming, and everything afterwards was just as beautiful and peaceful. My teenagers loved kayaking and my daughter liked the pond so well she slept on the daybed on the porch. I appreciated the feather pillows and reverse osmosis water. Attention has been paid to every detail. I called my Nana to show her the antique desks. My small children enjoyed the toys and my middle son using the pully bucket on the porch. My daughter celebrated a birthday over our stay, more movie guests showed up than expected and I just couldn't turn these kids away. Our hosts were so kind. They of course charged a little extra as was clearly understood via the contract, they were very understanding and polite. The lock to the boat seems to be jamed, the downstairs fireplace is currently non operational, and I'm not sure I'll get back a thumb drive I forgot, but this family has worked hard to create really special place. Five star

We had a great little weekend getaway! The house was super clean and clutter free, which made it feel open and even bigger. The big windows overlooking the lake were a nice treat, our pups enjoyed looking at the wild life too! We enjoyed some time in the lake, we got a little muddy but had fun! The fire pit and lights were so cute at night!

We had a wonderful relaxing week at the lake. The house was inviting and cozy and stocked with everything we needed. The exterior was very well maintained with beautiful landscaping. Mary was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

We were on our honeymoon and was a perfect getaway for us to relax! We really enjoyed the amenities and extremely clean living space. A few of our favorite parts of the stay were chilling on the porch swing, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. We would highly recommend this to anybody who wants a private and romantic getaway!

The Lake house was one of the quietest and most peaceful air b-and-b's we have stayed at. The new back deck is the highlight of the lake cabin. The rest of the cabin is fully equipped and functional, but we hardly left the back deck. With its fenced in area and gate was perfect for the dog. The kayaks and dock are a nice addition. It is located close to good dining at Micas restaurant and Whiteside brewery. We came for the hiking in Panthertown area. We will be back again.

Wonderful time in this home, tons of space and close to everything downtown. Lovely location with a peaceful dock to sit out for coffee. Home was comfortable and everything was as described. Thanks again!

We are absolutely in love with this cabin!!!. We were looking for a place to stay for our 1st anniversary and this place was nothing but perfect. It’s also completely private with beautiful scenery everywhere you go. Even our pup had a blast in the water and the huge yard to run in. Do listen to there warnings about the road, go very slow when you go down or up the street especially after it rains and you may have problems with your cellular services in select places but once your connection to their WiFi at the house there is no issue in that vicinity. We did have one small problem pop up, that was out of anyone’s control mind you, but the host was very quick to respond and helpful in make the most out of our trip, which we appreciate very much. The pictures we see online don’t even do the cabin justice when comparing to in person. Thank y’all for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin for a few days, we all had a blast and can’t wait to be back one day🫶🏼

Highly recommend! We enjoyed a five night stay at Sabir’s cabin and commuted to Clemson daily as our son attended basketball camp on campus. I will say this is one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The cabin was warm and welcoming, spotless, and perfectly matched the description. There was no detail overlooked. It was well-stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen was supplied with more than basic necessities. While we didn’t end up using them, we were happy to find a toaster, blender, and griddle for pancakes. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were cozy. The lake was beautiful. We really enjoyed the swing on the dock and the sunbathing mat. We brought our own kayaks as my husband enjoys his fishing kayak but that was not necessary as Sabir had two youths kayaks and one tandem for use. Overall, it was an exceptional place and I cannot wait to return again soon.

Cute one bedroom cottage with nice views of the lake. We really enjoyed having access to the two kayaks that came with the rental. Little kitchen & living space were perfect for the two of us - liked the convenience of being able to cook meals there. Overall really enjoyed our stay & the proximity of the cottage to all the great outdoor hiking & sightseeing was amazing!

The house was perfect. I loved how clean everything was. My children loved playing in the basement. My husband enjoyed fishing at the lake. The little extras (paper towels, dish soap, toilet paper, and laundry detergent) were so helpful as we were only there two nights and minimal hours during the day due to baseball tournaments. The only thing I disliked (which may just be a personal preference but also for sanitary reasons) was that there was no mattress protector on the bed. After looking through some linens in basement, I found one that somewhat worked for our bed. Overall, we were pleased with our experience and Linton Realty as they were very responsive and helpful when needed. Thanks for a great stay!

Wow, what a truly incredible space. My jaw just absolutely dropped to the floor upon pulling up and checking everything out. gorgeous home with plenty of areas to hang out - living room, outdoor screened porchs, hot tub, fire pit and of course the boat dock. This place felt right at home and Corey was incredibly supportive throughout the process. Would be back in a heartbeat.
