Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rancho San Diego

Wow this place is amazing! As soon was we walked in, from the decor to the ambiance. You go from Spring Valley to being transported to a place of paradise. There is no place like this, I’m telling you guys. If you think the front yard is beautiful, wait till you go to the backyard. We felt so at home and the vibes are just incredible. Did I mention it was dog friendly?! We bring our dog everywhere and this was perfect. Salvacion is a super host for a reason. She’s responsive, very easy to communicate with, and her home is beautiful. I have family in the area, we’ll definitely be coming back and staying here. So glad we found this place!

This place literally felt like paradise. If you didn’t know you were in San Diego, you would feel like you’re in Hawaii! The backyard was so beautiful that we spent the majority of our time out there in the pool, hot tub, and tiki bar! The upstairs patio was fantastic for outdoor eating. The hosts were super communicative with any questions we had prior to and during our visit! We definitely can’t wait to stay again in the future!

This place is so cute! It was close to everything AC works great. The bed was super comfy and the massage chair was a huge bonus! Will be going back if available next time I’m in town! Ty

This place was an absolute gem! Beautiful scenery, incredibly beautiful house and immaculately cleaned. We instantly felt at home, and enjoyed walking around the area. We have stayed in numerous areas outside of SD and this was our favorite so far.

The host welcomed us with a sign, I enjoyed the night there. I’m a small petite person so I slept on the coach and it’s so comfortable. I recommend for anyone who doesn’t mind a small setting. My siblings and I felt safe and secured during our stay! I recommend!

Great place. Private and quiet. Perfect when traveling with older kids, got the upstairs apartment all to themselves. Small but extremely comfortable, has everything you need. The property is beautiful and well taken care of. The basketball goal was perfect for the family. Pool was clean. I 💯 would stay here again. Owner had great communication.

Super 5,star hosts. , kind, generous, theyv went the extra mile for us. The hot tub was a great amenity , so thankful for it. . We primarily used our casita as a refuge for us after nine hours out and about spending time with our family who lived near. We slept well them. We were busy spending time with our family that live locally and we’re gone 9 to 10 hours a day for a whole week.A great location very close to our family so we could spend quality time with our three granddaughters.

Christopher’s place was clean, comfy, and cozy. The neighborhood was quiet so we were able to rest well. We needed something close to the Naval base and it is what we needed. 10 out of 10 would stay again, 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Great place and near everything

It was as described really quiet area good location save place the only issue there was many cockroaches on floor maybe because it was bit humid inside but other than that no issues.

The place was really nice! The only struggle for myself was finding it but I was sent instructions with pictures before hand so that was helpful. The parking is a little stressful as it’s very steep so be wary of this if your car is on the older side. Overall, I would stay here again (: super cozy and clean.

Stood at Julian’s place with my partner and our two children. It was perfect for the four of us. The ac units in the living room and master bedroom work extremely well. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the amenities you would need during your stay. We didn’t get to use the patio but it’s very large and peaceful. The outdoor lights look nice at night, too. Access to the property with the enclosed gate is easy to access. I reached out to Julian as there was a misunderstanding regarding the streaming services — I thought an account was already logged in but he confirmed that we would need to log in to our own accounts, which we did and didn’t take too long. Just keep this in mind in case you don’t have any of the listed streaming services. :) Overall, it was a great stay and we wouldn’t mind returning again in the future.

I had a great time staying at Thelma De La Paz’s place! The space was cozy, very clean, and exactly what I needed for a comfortable stay. Thelma was a wonderful host - polite, welcoming, and super responsive to any questions I had. Highly recommend!

The place is very at ease and very quiet. The carport leaves you a lot of peace of mind and in case the place since you have your privacy. It is very nice and comfortable. You feel at home

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was stunning, with ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves—it was the perfect place to relax after a day out. There were several great restaurants within walking distance, and we loved being able to grab snacks from the nearby Oxxo, just a short 5-minute walk away. The host was very accommodating, allowing us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Security at the front was helpful and friendly—they assigned us a parking space and made it easy to find the building. We did experience a couple of minor issues: the shower wasn’t draining properly, and on the third day, the door wouldn't lock. The host responded quickly to our messages, but unfortunately, no one showed up after we waited about an hour. However, the issue was resolved while we were out, so everything was fine when we returned. Despite those small hiccups, we had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. Our stay at Tony’s place was too short! It’s a great place with everything we needed AND walkable to so much in the super cool neighborhood. We loved that coffee and laundry supplies were provided. Anything else we may have needed was available just a short walk away. We didn’t have the opportunity to cook but it appeared as though everything needed was there. Plenty of towels and other supplies on hand too. A designated parking spot was another bonus. We loved all of the windows and being able to open them and feel the cool breeze.

Great host and sent all the details that made my first time using Airbnb a breeze! She also surprised me with a happy birthday balloon sign when I walked in and honestly those little touches go a very long way for me. Thank you Alma.! Highly recommend this place my kid and husband loved it as well.
