Experience lovely nature at cozy farmhouse! The cabin is located by itself on the edge of the forest overlooking the whole of Østre Gausdal. Lots of hiking opportunities in both summer and winter right from the door. About 1 km skiing through the forest to the trail network to Skeikampen. The cabin sleeps 5, plus crib, equipped kitchen, heat pump, wood-burning stove and dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen and towels incl. Must have 4x4 in winter. 15 min to city center and Skeikampen, 30 min to Lillehammer and 45 min to Hunderfossen.

Myklebu is a 50 year old cabin located all for itself in the pine forest of Sjodalen, Vågå. Summertime you drive all the way, but in winter you have to prepare to go skiing. This is the cabin that is both small and primitive while being modernized with newly inlaid power. Here you live far from people right in the middle of nature's own amusement park, absolutely perfect for your outdoors. Water you have to bring or pick up from the creek. Bedroom 1: Double bed 2nd bedroom: Double bed downstairs, single bed upstairs Bedroom 3: Double bed downstairs, single bed upstairs Bedroom 4: Double bed on the second floor/loft. Access by ladder. Simple standard with wood burning stove, gas stove, bio toilet suitable for anyone who wants to live a little easy. Very good starting point for trips both on foot and by bike in the immediate area, Jotunheimen, Rondane etc. Includes bathing dock and boat.

Amazing cabin with truly beautiful views. Loved having the BBQ grill. Good quality gravel road to get to the cabin, with many switchbacks. It takes around 10 minutes to drive there from the main road - not good if you're scared of heights!

I had a wonderful experience with Rannei, who is an excellent host. She welcomed me warmly (even though I arrived late, unfortunately). She prepared her house, making sure it was warm, clean, and had a vase of freshly picked flowers. I would have liked to have stayed longer. The accommodation is very comfortable, Rannei is very friendly and the surrounding landscape is breathtaking. I recommend and hope one day return!
