Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Reading

Enjoyed staying with Lyam while we were between houses. Great location, Lyam very helpful. Some issues with washing machine not resolved while we were there but dependent on repair man! Would recommend.

Had a great stay. Host was really nice and the house was easy to get to and check in!

Very nice garden room for a 2 night stay. Within a couple of miles of Reading centre for my work but super quiet in the evenings so had undisturbed sleep. Hosts were very responsive and friendly and accommodated my car on their drive which was very nice of them. Garden room was very well equipped and good value for money.

We had a very enjoyable 6 week stay at Pauls house. As a family of four with two children we made good use of the garden. Clean and tidy throughout, 2 comfy double beds, plenty of space, work station, easy access to M4, driveway parking, fully equipped kitchen, good park and fish 'n chip shop nearby.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully return. Our hosts were a delight and exceptionally helpful and friendly.. The location is amazing. We were watching red kites in flight and even heard a cuckoo. Lots of walking trails nearby too. Would definitely recommend a visit.

If we could give a rating of higher than 5 stars, we would. James is welcoming and very responsive. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed is extremely comfortable. The kitchen includes top quality crockery, cutlery, etc. as well as a few food supplies in the cupboard and fridge. Everything that we required was provided. In addition to that James went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We stayed for four days and could have stayed longer. We will definitely return, if the occasion arises. Lovely studio walking distance to river, coffee shops, local supermarkets. Lovely green to sit and have a drink. Station within 5 minutes walk to London or Windsor (which is 5 minutes on train) easier than parking. 15 minutes to Heathrow. Immaculate and clean

Absolutely gorgeous apartment in Henley-on-Thames, close to high street and river. Elliot was an exceptional host, he went above and beyond and provided pantry basics such as milk, fruit and butter which I thought was amazing as I forgot butter. The apartment was absolutely perfect our mini getaway in Henley. Would love to stay again.

Clean and well looked after flat in central Reading. Very comfortable beds and modern kitchen with all amenities.

Great little space within a pleasant walk to the centre of Henley. It has all that is needed for a short stay. we would happily stay here again.

Great location and perfect accommodations for our 2 night stay. Easy to walk to pubs and restaurants and shopping nearby. Parking available at the house was key for us.

We use Airbnb a lot. So as a general comparison I’d say great Airbnb. LOTS of communication. Very well stocked. Comfortable bed. Great decor. Central with parking. Handy for when I visit elderly relative. Likely to use it again. Quick to reply when I thought id left something behind.

Ideal accommodation for a short stay in the area. Property was very well equipped for a comfortable stay. David and Ian were extremely helpful answering any queries swiftly.

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommend! We had a wonderful experience staying at the Annexe! The home was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. Check-in was smooth, and communication with the host was quick and friendly. The location was perfect & quiet , we stayed here for 2 days for Royal Ascot. It was an easy commute. We really appreciated the guest book with local pubs & restaurants , we took note & visited a local pub & had a lovely pub dinner. ( George & Dragon) The annexe was beautifully decorated & we had fresh towels. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again next year for Royal Ascot! Thank you for a fantastic stay! Susan is lovely and communicates very quickly, she met me on my first night and showed me around the apartment. She even left some snacks and some milk in the fridge for me which was a nice touch The apartment is immaculate, nicely furnished, very clean and well looked after, it felt very homely. Also something good to know is the entrance is completely separate to the rest of the house, which may not be obvious from the photos. The parking space on the drive is spacious, I was able to fit my van on there. I would happily stay here again.

I was extremely pleased with my choice of this place. From the very first contact, Peter was attentive and helpful, always available to assist from before check-in until checkout. The space is beautiful, cozy, and offers a unique connection with nature. The entire experience was amazing from start to finish. I loved every detail, plan to return, and definitely recommend it!

Loved my stay in this beautiful apartment on first floor of a secure building. Very central for exploring the town. Plenty of cafes and restaurants along with independent shops and beautiful scenery. Everything in the apartment was as described and better. Beds, bedding and towels were top quality. Bedrooms are spacious. Great to sit at the window overlooking the square. Left our car in allotted car parking space during our few days stay. So easy to walk everywhere. Sian was a great host and we knew we could contact her if need be. All instructions were very clear and local recommendations helpful. We would highly recommend Sian’s place. We would definitely return if in this area.
