The perfect place to decompress and reconnect with nature.

The Tiny: Off-Grid Microcabin (NEW!)

Come stay on this small .3 acre lot in a tiny A-Frame (100 square feet) in the Red River Gorge! Because big things come in small packages, and sometimes less is more. With a large deck, outdoor cooking area, and composting toilet, you'll enjoy the off-grid lifestyle. The Tiny has easy access to the Red River Gorge area for hiking and climbing. This cabin does not have running water or electricity. I am still adding to my tiny cabin! At this time I cannot accommodate pets, kids, or campfires.

We offer you a stay at our peaceful one bedroom one bathroom log cabin. Inside we have wifi, one King size bed. Microwave,refrigerator, coffee maker, full bathroom, Cold A/C. We live on the same property don't hesitate to reach out. We want this to be your best stay yet.

Looking for seclusion? How about relaxing in a hot tub on a cliff?! Romance on the Rocks rests on and between HUGE BOULDERS providing an intimate and private setting. There are all kinds of places to relax here - the front porch, side porch, upper balcony outside the loft, the loft has a king size bed, a jacuzzi tub that can provide a spectacular view (see photo in listing) and, of course, the hot tub tucked under the rockface. The closest neighbors are 3 friendly donkeys that love to greet guests at the fence for attention and ear rubs. Fishing poles and donkey treats are provided to round out your stay. We're 20 scenic minutes to Slade or Stanton and 25 to Mount Sterling.

This cabin is located just a mile or two off the Slade, KY exit on top of a ridge in Red River Gorge. Built by Paul Rhodes in his spare time, this passion project took over six years to complete and boasts a uniqueness unrivaled by other accommodations.
