A quirky self-catering shepherd's hut in the Peak District close to the village of Hathersage with stunning views towards Stanage Edge. This shepherd's hut, situated on a working farm, sleeps two people in a king size bed with separate shower room. Kitchen facilities with toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge, 2-ring hob. Rokeby Cottage has recently been refurbished to provide a comfortable relaxing stay any time of the year. Nestled within the Hope Valley, Hathersage offers exceptional walks from the front door ranging from circular 3 mile strolls to all-day hikes. Rokeby Cottage is a 5 minute walk from the village centre which hosts a great range of excellent pubs, cafes and shops.

Situated on the North West edge of Sheffield, we are in the Peak District, with superb walks, reservoirs, pubs, a golf course and more just a few minutes away. We are also close to halls of residence for Sheffield universities, with a bus stop at the bottom of the drive for jaunts into town. The accommodation is a self contained apartment above our detatched garage, with its own access and everything you need for a getaway in the peaks.

Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is attached to Bridge House, situated in the Peak District village of Bamford and benefits from a beautiful view of the River Derwent. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
