Family-friendly holiday rentals in Reeuwijk

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the apartment for a weekend and felt very comfortable. With the bikes you could easily reach the nearby metro station and we had a good time in Amsterdam. The landlords were very friendly and always easily accessible. I highly recommend this place for Amsterdam stays.

Me and my friend had a very nice stay at Mijke's house. The hot pool and sauna were very nice and easy to warm up. The place was very clean and accurately described. We can only recommend it.

What a fun experience! And what a terrific host! In a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. To say we got to stay on a houseboat in Amsterdam is always going to be a fun memory! But note, it is definitely a boat. You must be fully able bodied to access the boat and get around comfortably inside. The kitchen is suitable for snacks. And as with most European AirBnBs, bring your own bath products.

Nice apartment with lovely jacuzzi in a closed part of the garden. Very private and wonderful for a weekend away from the busy daily life. Nice kitchen, good bed and good shower. Even a washing machine (not used but still).

A real gem and oasis of peace with a good energy. The location was even more beautiful than expected based on the photos and the unexpected eggs as a gift for the kids as well as the unexpected visit of the horses and the dog and borrowing dog made everything a nice memory. The kids would like to come back, so we'll definitely plan that. See you soon enough. And oh yes, I'll come and pick up the stuff I forgot... 😀

What a dream place! From the first contact, everything went very smoothly and cordially. Fareen is a warm, attentive host who had prepared everything with care and attention to detail. The communication was fast, friendly and personal - we felt welcome right away. The cottage is cozy, atmospheric and surrounded by tranquility and nature. Everything was taken care of to the last detail and fully equipped. We enjoyed a delicious glass of wine in the garden, the comfortable interior, and the feeling of coming home to a special place. I’m emotional about leaving this absolute treasure of a rental- wish we could stay forever. We booked Darley’s on the recommendation of well-traveled local friends who literally *moved* to Hilversum after staying here and told us it was the best Airbnb of all time. (These friends also know that I’m finicky about vacation rentals and generally prefer hotels.) I’m SO glad we listened to them. This is, without a doubt, the most beautiful, well-appointed, lavish, thoughtfully stocked, gorgeously furnished, comfortable Airbnb ever, and now I’m probably ruined for all others. It could have been half as incredible for twice the price - we’d still be delighted. I’ve never felt more at home while traveling. We had all the privacy, comfort, provisions, fresh flowers and fruit, random fun perks, great water pressure, immaculate cleanliness, inspiring corners, luxurious linens, and other copious supplies we didn’t know we needed. Thank you, Marielise, for the Airbnb experience of a lifetime. WOW.

This place is so adorable! It has an amazing terrace, and right in the center of the city with so much to do. The place was so comfortable and had all the amenities we would have needed. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking to explore Amsterdam!

The hospitality of Mrs. Triena was like a dream. She greeted us very nicely, showed us around the cottage and offered various attractions. We are very grateful for such hospitality and kindness. The area is beautiful - full of greenery, rural animals only complemented this wonderful landscape. The cottage is very cozy and clean. The place had everything we needed for everyday functioning. We are enchanted by everything we have seen in the area and we will definitely return for, I hope, a longer stay. Thank you!

Marja's place is magical! surrounded by water, farms and fields, perfect for nature lovers. We loved it: Take walks with our three kids with the canoes on loan from Marja and fishing right in front of the house. The proximity to Delft, a city for which we had a real favorite , we really recommend renting bikes and making the bike paths around the city to discover the region . The house looks directly onto a bike path but we didn't mind. The view of the water is so beautiful and offers amazing sunsets. Need to Know: The house is small but sufficient for 5, however you should know that there is only one toilet located directly in the bathroom. The boiler placed behind the wall of the master bedroom can make noise at night, on Marja's advice we turned off the heating at night and this guarantees you peaceful nights. We will be back!!

We were on a houseboat in Amsterdam for years, but the owner now lives there himself and no longer rents it out. So we looked for an alternative in the "little sister" Utrecht and ended up with Pauline and Raymond. The boat is in a suburb of Utrecht, but is easy to reach by bus (runs every 15 min) and is very nice in nature. There were four of us and we had plenty of space, we could sit well both below and on deck, the bathroom is huge for a houseboat, the beds are great, the kitchen is well equipped. The only downside for us was that we couldn't find a decent café or restaurant in Nieuwegein, but after all, we wanted to explore Utrecht, and the location is good for that. We liked it so much that we will probably go back soon. Many thanks to Pauline and Raymond!

A beautiful place. And immediately the pheasant with chicks in the garden. Beautiful skies seen from under the covered veranda. Hares and herons. Cuckoo and owls. Slept well on the cozy upper floor. Beautifully styled with an eye for detail. Those stairs, wow.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

Great accommodation and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything was fine for us ☀️

A week to relax among the bustle of the birds. In rainy weather, there is plenty of space inside, and in good weather, a very pleasant garden to sit in. There is plenty to do in the area, and shops are close by. Everything is available for you to cook yourself. Baking pizza in the pizza oven was also fun to do. Definitely recommended. We felt at ease.

We had a really nice time, it's locations is great, nice restaurants and a supermarket nearby, close to the Hoge Veluwe national park

Magdalena welcomed us very kindly and lovingly took care of us. Although we did not book breakfast, she provided us with bread and other treats. The apartment matches the description, the location is beautiful. We will be happy to come back!

The cottage is on a small-scale green park, where you can go with your dog. In fact, it was Pentecost weekend and I have never seen so many dogs. All of them are well-behaved and only friendly dogs. With a few minutes' walk, you are in the forest, where - in some places - the dog can also go off the line. There is also a communal swimming pool that you can use. The cottage is comfortable, the bed is good and also in a nice place where you have no view. Communication with the hostess, Jacq, is perfect. She responds immediately to any question. Thank you for the nice days.

We were six on a family vacation with two kids and grandma and grandpa. We had a great time at Karin's house. It is perfectly equipped, very clean and lovingly furnished. The park offers many activities, but not everything is described as on the homepage (e.g. electric cars for kids are not in operation). We were in the off-season in May and there was already quite a lot of activity in the park. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. For us with the kids, it was perfect. The beach is fantastic. Would love to come back!
