The builder of this house, Ludwig Jacob, moved like many Mackenbacher into the world to earn a living for his family with his music. In 1906 he was able to build this house in the style of the usual "musicians' houses" here. In 2014 we set up the apartment on one floor and are always happy to welcome guests from all over the world. We also speak English. For more information about the West Palatine musicians, visit our local museum.

This was by far one of my favorite Airbnb bookings out of the hundreds I have stayed out. Owner had wonderful communication, instructions and was friendly! The house location couldn’t have been more perfect for where I needed to be. Inside the house was pristine condition with many upgrades. The beds were the best I’ve had in Europe! Airbnb had a washer and dryer, full kitchen, and many other wonderful extras. I will definitely being coming here again. Thank you!

Raul and Severine met us as soon as we drove up. Gave us a quick tour, how to make coffee, and Raul's direct number. Quiet, beautiful views, super clean. Adjustable beds. Intternet wasn't great, and there was no shampoo or soap in shower but minor details. Being Ameficans from the South we'd have liked AC or a fan, but that's a regional thing. We'd stay here again without question.

Claudia is a very attentif host, without being invasive. The house is one of the best equipped places we’ve ever stayed. The basic food stuffs and chocolate and coffee is extremely generous. It’s great to have such excellent recycling and composting. The apartment is big, practical and well-situated. We enjoyed the Wild Park, swimming and also walking in the forest. Thank you, Claudia.
