While the grounds were beautifully kept and tranquil, the passing trains detracted from the tranquillity, which was unfortunate as that did impinge on the beautiful location and facility provided by our hosts.

Lovely hosts. Friendly and interactive. Fantastic property. Peaceful with bird song and down a long drive away from the road and other properties. Breakfast included bacon, eggs, toast and cereals. well stocked kitchen and a BBQ. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great weekend away that was made even better with Neil and Heathers beautiful loft. It was warm, immaculate, lovely linen and convenient to restaurants, supermarkets and expressway for easy on and off. Fabulous 10/10 Will stay again.

Hidden gem in a beautiful spot - our only regret was not staying longer! It's close to Porirua/Paraparaumu, but involves a slightly steep winding gravel drive so feels like a world away. The surrounding native bush is stunning, and we loved all the cosy little touches (blankets, pre-prepared fireplace, coffee and milk etc). Lots of outdoor space, would be amazing for a longer family getaway in nature. Really appreciated the proactive comms from James & Emma too.
