Nestled in nature, in an idyllic forest edge location with breathtaking lake views, this chalet allows you to escape everyday life. Hike in the forest or by the lake and enjoy a bike ride with our e-bikes. When it's cool, warm up in the sauna or heated pool before settling in with a glass of red wine by the fireplace. In the warm season, enjoy a swim in the pool or in the crystal clear lake (SUP/kayak are also available) before watching the stars in the evening.

Cottage at the Holzbach Gorge

Our small cozy wooden house is located in a vacation home village right by the Holzbach Gorge on the Westerwaldsteig. Enjoy the tranquility and nature of the beautiful Westerwald. The cottage is an ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours and is close to a swimming lake (Secker Weiher). With up to 4 people, you will stay alone in the house. The garden is also intended for your own use. Arrival without a car is not possible. !! No rental to companies!!

We offer you a nicely furnished apartment for your stay in Montabaur. In the living room, in addition to the cozy couch set, you will also find a very comfortable TV chair, on which it is easy to relax after a hard day at work. Prepare your own meals in the spacious kitchen-living room. In addition to the fridge-freezer, we offer you a gas stove, coffee machine, Dolce Gusto, toaster and if you want to go fast, a microwave.

Beautiful farmhouse in a quiet village location. The 300 year old house has been in our family for 50 years and has been partially renovated for rent as a holiday home. Suitable for 2 - 8 people, e.g. two families. The rooms have a view of the large flower garden. Guests can use the garden and terrace. A nature reserve and several hiking trails can be reached in a few minutes. Shops are 2 km away.

In the rough Oberwesterwald directly at the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach has dug its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength and inspiration. Fire pit and kettle grill are available. Towels and sheets on request.

Vacation home in Gemünden am Westerwaldsteig

The apartment is located near the Holzbach Gorge. Where the Westerwaldsteig invites you to hike and vacation, relax and enjoy nature. But also Limburg an der Lahn and Montabaur are just over 20 km away. Bad Marienberg with a climbing forest, animal park and swimming pool are not far from our apartment. Simply discover the Westerwald region, which is diverse and beautiful.

Haus am Wald

House on the forest -complete apartment approx. 45 sqm- with separate entrance. The modern and practical accommodation is right on the edge of the forest. From here, you and your partner can go directly into the nature of the Lahn-Dill mountain landscape. The surrounding area is ideal for day trips. We invite you to enjoy our lovely region very comfortably.

Charming, small guest house with terrace.

For short breaks (cyclists/boaters) who want to stay one or two nights at short notice. Simple equipment, single kitchen, shower and toilet on the first floor, upstairs bedroom with double bed. A roll mattress can be used for children. No TV, no closet. Located one street from the Lahn. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place.
