The property is quietly and rurally located on the outskirts of Steinfurt-Borghorst in the beautiful Münsterland with good connections (B54 Münster - Enschede). The 100 Castles Route passes by a short distance away, ideal for cyclists. The train station is within walking distance, (approx. 10 min.) Shopping and bakery about 500 meters away. The lake house is located directly on the lake and perfectly combines the features of a cozy Scandinavian-style house with the amenities of a modernly equipped accommodation with exclusive and luxurious highlights. The sauna, hot tub and fireplace offer relaxation. One of our highlights is the loft nets, which allow a view over the lake. The vacation home has 2 bedrooms with box spring beds. Two more people can sleep on the sofa bed.

Historic Farm House in Countryside

This type of house is known as " ein Heuerhaus'. It was built in 1883 and is one of the few remaining such houses in the area. We renovated it in the late1980's and it is recognised as a National Monument. The area we converted into the appartment for our guests, was originally used for storing the hay and straw for the animals winter fodder The house is surrounded by a large garden and uninterrupted view of the countryside.

Bright and friendly rooms with a great view of the southern Wiehen Hills await you. Many hiking trails can be used around the house.
