Stube of the gateway - Martinsburg Castle

Welcome to the Middle Ages! The Martinsburg is one of the few castles in the Middle Rhine Valley that has never been destroyed. Here, the building structure is actually centuries old. We carefully renovated the room of the gatekeeper, approx. 50 m2, and approached today's needs with shower and toilet. However, you must climb 45 steps before you can settle down comfortably. In good weather, you can also linger in the flower corner in the castle courtyard or explore the castle park on the Rhine.

Sie wohnen in einem einfachen, aber gemütlichen, kleinen Apartment (25qm) mit einem Doppelbett ( 140x200cm) und Duschbad in Boppard Stadt. Es hat einen separaten Eingang und liegt im Souterrain unseres Hauses. Kostenfreier WLAN Zugang ist eingerichtet. In dem Wohn-Schlafzimmer für 1-2 Personen gibt es keine Küche, aber die Möglichkeit sich ein Frühstück zuzubereiten. Eine Kaffeepadmaschine , ein Wasserkocher und ein kleiner Kühlschrank stehen zur Verfügung. Geschirr und Gläser sind vorhanden.

Keep in mind! Starting March 1, 2025, there will be a full closure of the B49 between Lay and Moselweiss. Start of the construction of a cycle path. This means that a detour towards Koblenz of plus 12 km (approx. 15 min longer drive) is to be expected. Buses will be diverted.
