Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ridgway

This was hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. I initially thought the photos with the dramatic mountainous landscape was exaggerated, only to realize that the photos don’t do any justice. The sunset view was breathtaking! I felt like I was in heaven! The area in front of the house was also home to very cute animals which we absolutely loved watching. The house itself was as cozy with a spacious kitchen and pantry. I loved the fact that there was no tv which meant more family time and less screen time. I forgot my AirPods there and Carl kindly offered to ship it back too! Overall, amazing host, amazing home, highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful home and location! Fully stocked residence. We brought a lot of items from home that were not needed. Beds and furniture were very comfortable and we truly enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have spent a couple more days just to enjoy the view!

This home was so lovely and spacious. My three grandkids and I really enjoyed staying there . There were such nice touches; a bottle of homemade wine from the host, water by the bedside, coffee and creamer. We enjoyed our stay so much we decided to make it an annual event.

The house was clean, so cute, and had everything we needed. It was exactly what we were looking for, and communication was wonderful. We would love to come back!

Kale's place is a beautiful cabin a short walk from downtown. It's rustic in feel and aesthetic, but spotless, and the grounds are beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was wonderful up to the sun from the skylight -- we both got a great night's sleep and woke up feeling refreshed. One of my favorite AirBnB experiences in recent memory.

This place was awesome! Niki was so kind and great at communicating since the beginning. Our whole group loved it and it was perfect for my wedding party!!!

We had a wonderful experience at Laura's place in Ouray. The location was very close to town but provided a quiet and private escape. You do have to drive to get into town, as the house is about 1 mile from restaurants and shops, but it was no big deal as parking was free and easy everywhere we went. The house was very clean and was the perfect space for a family of four. The house included all amenities we needed for our stay, including all kitchen utensils and cookware and even laundry detergent. Overall the house was beautiful and we would definitely stay there again!

A perfectly peaceful, spacious, and homey place with a great location. The kitchen is one of the best I've experienced in countless Airbnbs, and even the foldout couch sleeper was super comfy. I'd happily recommend it and will stay there again if I'm so lucky.

Thomas was a great host. When his 2 bedroom unit was unavailable, he generously offered his beautiful 4 bedroom unit for our stay. Everything was better than described. Unbelievable views and easy access to skiing

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Tori’s loft. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was super comfortable. Our dogs appreciated the pads on the stairs for their paws. Location felt peaceful and secluded, yet was a few minutes away from Main Street. We would definitely stay again!

This is the best place to stay at Purgatory Resort. Ski-in Ski-out is an understatement. Literally, skied right to ski lift. I would recommend staying here every trip to Purgatory Resort. Kris is always helpful in every aspect.

Beautiful place for family everything was absolutely perfect

Shaves off the cost of being close to Ouray. Really nice being on second floor with sitting on the deck in the cool morning. Mattress is very firm. Fridge and microwave help keep eating costs down.

We would highly recommend you stay here. The host was great!

My husband, me and my three children truly enjoyed our stay! We tried to go to Dolores twice a year and more excited to know that we found a new place for the family to stay everything about. It is absolutely perfect we just wish we could bring our dogs 🖤 It was easy access the river was beautiful, cozy outdoor firepit ! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and baking! The house was well stocked of anything that we needed that we may have forgotten and the host was extremely easy to contact when needed. We notice some flyers for the ranch next-door and was able to enjoy an afternoon of horseback riding one minute from the home!! The next day, we went ouray our favorite place ! Next time we’ll be sure to make a stop and Telluride again! Thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to our family we are so grateful!!! 🖤 the Anderson family !!!

Description was spot on and this is definitely a place to get away and relax. Amazing opportunities for stargazing and relaxing by the fire. Also, the location makes for a convenient home base to explore Ouray, Telluride, etc. We would stay again if we were to come back to the area in the future!

Our family of four loved staying at Bill's place. We wanted a private, off-the-grid rental with easy access to a fishable river/creek and beautiful surroundings. Bill's place was just that. We loved hiking the property -- there's a beautiful, property trail that goes about a mile through meadows & towards the mountains. The stars at night were unbeatable. My kids loved floating in the creek across the street, and we loved fishing there & also driving about 5 minutes away where we had a good river access & caught lots of gorgeous rainbow trout. The kitchen is stocked with things like sugar, oils, seasoning & some dry goods people have left. Lots of utensils and plates & a great grill & smoker outside. The place is surrounded by cute chipmunks and deer - fun for our kids. One FYI is that there are two Airbnbs on the property - the main cabin and a separate barn with an apartment (which we hadn't realized) but wasn't an issue - other than that, you'll be alone if that's what you want!

We had a wonderful winter time stay. The cabin was incredibly well stocked which made the snow-machine access only so easy and less stressful. very comfy and cozy. I don't have a single recommendation on how it could be improved. hope to have the opportunity to stay again!

Absolutely wonderful find!!! Elk! Deer! Super quiet and peaceful surroundings. The house had everything needed to cook wonderful meals. The couch was fantastic for lounging on while enjoying the wood burning stove. If you’re looking for a place that is close to town, this will not be your place. It takes close to an hour to get to Montrose. Be sure to get all of your groceries and supplies before heading to the cabin. If you’re looking for solitude, you found the holy grail! I’d, absolutely, stay here again!!!!

We had plans to hike the Grand Mesa, walk the lakes, unfortunately I caught the worst cough know to mankind. But having a place to cuddle in front fireplace was magical. We’ll try it again soon. Maybe in the summer time next time.

Kevin's cabin has stunning views of Mount Sneffels and is surrounded by groves of Aspen trees. It is the most peaceful location we've ever stayed at. Kevin was a very responsive host and was always willing to provide great local recommendations in Telluride and Ouray. I would absolutely recommend staying at his cabin.
