It’s a pleasure to present you our accommodation in the Swiss Alps (Riederalp, Valais). Our apartment is known for is captivating and breathtaking view. The surrounding area is filled with unspoiled nature, deep calm and relaxation for body and spirit. In other words: This is a place you will feel the freedom of the Alps. The cablecar-station, a grocery store as well as one of the skiing slopes are both reachable within a 5-7 minute walk on foot.

Used for agricultural purposes over many centuries by our forefathers, it now offers every comfort for regeneration and for a return to the essentials. In the summer of 2020, we renovated our studio. It is located in a prime location approx. a 5-minute walk from Zermatt train station and the Gornergratbahn. The balcony offers beautiful views over the village. The kitchen is fully equipped and the apartment has a bathtub, a 1.80 m bed, a seating area and a small dining table. TV with Apple TV box (no cable TV!) & Wi-Fi are available. The house has an elevator and a ski storage room.

In a top panoramic location, we rent a furnished 3-room apartment in a 300-year-old chalet. The chalet is located in the idyllic Valais village of Ried-Mörel 1200 meters above sea level. The gondola to the Riederalp is a 2-minute walk away, where you are in the middle of the ski resort or hiking area. The access to the chalet is accessible all year round. The bathroom was completely renovated in the spring of 2024.

Niedergesteln is 10 km west of Visp. In the castle community from the 11th century, you feel like you are in the Middle Ages. The knight village is an ideal starting point to discover and enjoy Upper Valais on hikes, bike or ski tours.
