Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

Kingfisher Camp is a romantic hideaway set in the dimple of a hillside of a small farm in the foothills of the Black Mountains. The hut is available for anyone who is content to cuddle up by candlelight and light the woodburning stove to get cosy, or spend a night out by the fire, cooking food and star gazing. The views of the Black Mountains are exceptionally beautiful from this lovely cottage in a very peaceful farm location overlooking the Llanthony Valley, 10 miles from Abergavenny. There is a log fire and underfloor heating in cold weather. Ideal for a relaxing escape. Wonderful walks from the doorstep in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Uncrowded hills and 2 pubs nearby. The historic Llanthony Priory has an atmospheric bar in the cellar with excellent evening food.
