Holiday rentals with breakfast in Roanoke

A small group of friends and I stayed at Anne’s place for our best friends wedding. Needless to say, this was the perfect spot. Anne’s place was utterly beautiful and peaceful. The house was so cozy and quaint, the family photos on the wall that depicted the home from a different generation made our stay that much more special. We felt so at home and it was the perfect place to unwind and celebrate our friend. Anne went above and beyond by providing us with fresh eggs, juices, and a variety of other breakfast items. Cooking in the rustic kitchen was hands down our favorite part! 10/10 would recommend staying at Anne’s place!

Perfect location for visiting VMI and WandL! House was very clean and the hosts provided a welcoming environment. Our family was very comfortable for VMI graduation.

This is a Beautiful and comfortable home in a lovely private setting in Floyd, VA. It was clean, well kept, a very convenient location, and well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our service dog and will look forward to staying here again. Thank you!

Great place to stay had a lot of communication that was very nice. The park at the front was really nice we didn’t have enough time but really wanted to go to the skate park. The house was very cozy we would stay again.

Very nice older home but very clean with lots of room. We wish it would have had at least local TV because we needed to check weather. Nobody could get Chromecast to work with their phone. All in all easy to find and close to Pipestem.

Above and beyond expectations. I have stayed in many rentals in the past and this place is by far one of the cleanest I have been in. The bed linens were high quality with comfortable mattresses, the bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and well stocked. You could not beat having the lake right there and the powered covered boat slip was perfect. We will definitely stay here again.

Birgit was wonderful throughout our entire stay! She welcomed us and recommended some really great restaurants nearby. Very peaceful neighborhood while still being within a short drive of downtown. Would absolutely stay again, thanks so much Birgit :)

Very comfortable bed! Great space right next door to a brewery! Will be coming here every time I come down to Buchanan!

My son has thoroughly enjoyed his home away from home at Brenda’s place while attending college at Patrick & Henry’s Rwcing College of Virginia. He’ll be back next semester, too! Brenda and her family are wonderful hosts.

This was a perfect location for our extended family visit. Close to University of Lynchburg. Apartment was perfect size for our extended family. Breakfast was delicious. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

Easy to locate, right off highway, next to McDonalds for a quick breakfast in the morning. Would stay again for my road trips.

Thank you Philip and Katie for a wonderful stay. The apartment was very clean, clear instructions and thoughtful additional touches- my daughter and I enjoyed a game of scrabble. Thank you for the water bottles as well- they came in handy. The neighborhood is walkable with tons of restaurants and easy to get to Vtech. Highly recommended.

Justin's place was very sweet. Gorgeous views off the porch, comfy beds, and while we missed breakfast because we had an early start, they were there preparing what seemed like an amazing breakfast.

It is always a pleasure to stay with Angelique. Her property is always clean and fresh. It feels like coming home and is very cozy. The amenities are wonderful and Angelique thinks of everything when she adds her personal touches to the apartment. She is always pleasant and responsive. This is a great place to stay because you are not in the heart of the city and that takes you away from the hustle and bustle, the noise, and all the traffic in town. This is just a great place to go and unwind and feel welcomed and happy.

It was a very short notice booking…like an hours notice…Kathy and her husband Martin accommodated me. I am so appreciative of that. Martin met me on arrival and checked me in. A VERY pleasant man. He was very kind and helpful. He was so attentive even though he’s recovering from knee surgery, his knee was very swollen. Very tough man! The area was out of the way, and very beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay. The decor was personal. Kathy’s photos and art decorated the place as well as items from their travels. Thank you so much.

We loved our stay at Graham Ordinary! John and Kathy were so knowledgeable and gave such great recommendations of what to do and see during our stay. The mead tasting was very fun and informative! Highly recommend!

What a fun stay! We got to witness the most beautiful sunrise I have ever seen here. The animals on the farm are so friendly. I was able to take my dog for the stay and he met bigger animals for the first time and they became friends instantly. I loved what they have done with opening up the family farm to enjoy. It was very personable and they made us feel like family. The homemade country breakfast was also one of my favorites. We were visiting the area hiking and decided to stay since it was a few hours away and I am glad we were able to stay here. Although our visit was short, it was sweet. Thank you for welcoming my family.. beautiful stay.

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful home in Buchanan for two nights during our road trip across Virginia. Donald and his wife are amazing hosts and just awesome people to be around. They made us feel right at home when we arrived, gave us a tour of their beautiful property, showed us all the areas in the house we could hand out at and shared local recommendations around the area. The room we stayed at was clean, spacious and comfortable. It had a beautiful view of the front porch and a big garden area. We were invited to join for breakfast both mornings where we were spoilt with delicious French toasts, eggs, sausages, pancakes, and coffee. Donald and his wife are great people and we had very engaging and interesting conversations together. Their place is beautiful and there is plenty to do around the area if you are visiting the Roanoke region. We would certainly be returning to their place in the near future.

My husband and I needed a quiet relaxing getaway and Old Oak Farm B&B was a perfect choice. The surrounding countryside was peaceful and picturesque. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and intentional in creating a great place for guests. It was also a fantastic price!

Wonderful stay and even better Hostess!! Susan’s home was so cozy and wonderful and made my time in VA absolutely perfect. She’s is so wonderful, kind and one heck of a cook!! Breakfast was OUTSTANDING both mornings. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this stay, would 100% come back!!
