“If you love surprises, visit Cellar 1947. We booked an overnight stay there on a whim, and were totally blown away by the experience. The accommodations are unique and delightful in every way. The hosts enthusiasm for sharing the history of the farm and Cellar 1947 made the experience unforgettable.”

“Major View Guesthouse is an amazing getaway place. It is so peaceful with the most beautiful view. The host, Matthys is so friendly and helpful and responded quickly to any message. The splash pool is stunning as you sit on the steps in the cool water, with a glass of wine looking over the farm with noone in sight. The stop is large with an outside table. The house is clean and spacious with everything you need. There is coffee, tea and sugar and even a complimentary milk in the fridge. “Amazing house on a peaceful and relaxing spot within the Silwerstrand Golf Estate. Check-in was a breeze. Burger, the host, was so friendly and helpful, and always available if need be. The house was very clean and neat when we arrived. There was the thoughtful touch of bottled water and milk in the fridge, as well as tea, coffee and sugar. There were extra small touches that were perfect, such as toothpicks, a spice drawer, etc in the kitchen, and towels in all the bedrooms. Coffee on the patio in the mornings were amazing, and the house overall was very modern and beautiful and extremely relaxing. We will definitely be back again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.”
