Don't forget to download the driving directions. There is little to no cell signal in Harrison. The place was clean enough. It is a quirky rustic studio with a tiny bathroom. The view was lovely. The place is pretty private but limited parking. Overall it's great for one or two nights. I'd want more space if I were spending a week there. Loved the view and it's a half mile walk to town and easy access to The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes. Great place to hideout for a day or two and disconnect from your cell phone. Wifi works well if you must.

Our experience was magical! There was plenty room for our kids to play in the yard! And we were very impressed by all of the design detail of the A-frame. The lighting, wood, metal work was truly luxury. Would highly recommend this place for couples or families. 10/10

Our stay at Ellen’s Place was great, we had 2 infants and Ellen had a baby monitor and play pen which was great and felt very at home. Ellen was very responsive to any questions we may have had and overall a great host. We hope to visit again soon, and I’d recommend Ellen’s place to anyone looking to visit Rockford Bay.

If your looking for a safe, peaceful, vast place to stay by the lake with easy access to shopping, skiing, hospital, lake with caring and thoughtful hosts, this is the place! I thouroughly enjoyed my stay here. turkeys and deer free roam daily, peek a boo view of the lake offers. veing of sunsets and other wildlife. the host addressed any needs immediately and was a joy to meet.
