Holiday rentals in Rote Nase

We had a lovely stay here! Our host was very helpful and made several recommendations at our request. The place was spotless and cozy. It was a good 10-12 minute walk from the train station, but it was definitely doable. We would recommend!

Antonello’s flat was a marvelous stay! Just a few steps from the train station, but tucked away enough to feel cozy and peaceful. Right in the heart of Zermatt so everything was walkable and easily accessible. Great view of the top half of the Matterhorn as well. Antonello was very responsive and helpful, which made the stay even better. 5 🌟!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Valérie’s lovely apartment in Zermatt. From the moment we arrived, everything was cozy, clean, and full of warmth — just like being at home. This was our very first Airbnb stay in Switzerland, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Valérie is such a thoughtful and kind host, and her pink decor was a dream come true for me (I love pink!). The apartment is in a quiet location but still very convenient. We had a great rest, enjoyed the beautiful mountain views, and felt so welcomed during our stay. Thank you, Valérie, for your hospitality. We will definitely recommend your place to our friends and would love to return one day!

My family and I cannot recommend Andrea's place enough! A quick note that is location is only accessible via the equivalent of a couple of flights of (outdoor) stairs, even the local electric taxis cannot circumvent the stairs. Andrea was very clear about this, shared great access instructions with me, and met us at the top of the stairs when we first arrived. This house is one side of a duplex and was spacious, well-stocked, and utterly equipped for summer and winter stays with fantastic windows (easily opened and excellent sealing and insulation), outdoor dining furniture, and an electric fireplace. We were able to walk any of our destinations in Zermatt within 15 minutes and still felt somewhat secluded from town by being positioned on the side steep slope with views of the Matterhorn and very little direct line of sight to neighboring buildings. Andrea was a clear communicator and excellent host.

An overwhelmingly beautiful location, the chalet is perched on top of a hill with pristine and complete uninterrupted views of the town and Matterhorn. Such a cozy and quiet place with so much to do and plenty of recommendations from the host. We loved every second of our stay, thank you!!

If we ever come back to Zermatt we will definitely try to rent this apt. It was perfect in all ways and the host is super friendly and discrete. The view of Matterhorn from the livingroom and the terrasse was stunning. Furniture and style had such a high quality and good taste.

Oliver’s home in Zermatt was lovely. It’s decorated well, it’s clean, it has a kitchen where you can actually cook a meal, and it has an amazing view of the Matterhorn. Being able to do laundry is so great after a day of hiking. The Airbnb is really not far from the train station, but it is uphill like most places in Zermatt and I would not have regretted getting a taxi when coming from the train station with my luggage. Otherwise, we were able to walk to the gornergrat train station, the sunegga funicular, and the gondolas to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise with no issues. It’s also a short walk to the grocery store and the main street. I would stay here again if visiting Zermatt!

L’appartamento offre la miglior vista sul Cervino di tutta Zermatt: davvero spettacolare! Era molto organizzato e dotato di tutto il necessario per preparare colazioni e cene in autonomia. Avevamo a disposizione una lavastoviglie (non una lavatrice, che comunque si può utilizzare pagando 2 franchi). Il letto era comodo; chi ha esigenze particolari può parlare con l’host per richiedere un altro cuscino, ma personalmente non ho avuto problemi, anche avendo una certa sensibilità cervicale. La doccia è ottima e il riscaldamento dell’appartamento funziona benissimo, rendendo il soggiorno molto confortevole. L’accesso è semplice: si può prendere il bus fino alla cappella, poi camminare circa 500 metri lungo la strada e altri 200 metri attraverso un sentiero nel bosco. Consigliamo di utilizzare un carrello per i bagagli. Torneremo senza dubbio!
