Awesome place, secluded and absolutely beautiful. we had an amazing time.

We had a lovely stay at Bob’s place. The house is right by the lake with beautiful views — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. The location is also super convenient for getting around. Inside, the home feels warm and welcoming, with a light green and white color scheme that adds a peaceful vibe. Bob was incredibly approachable and always quick and kind in his communication. We felt well taken care of. Highly recommend this stay!

The place is quite spacious and very cozy. Our group really enjoyed staying at the house. The place have everything you might need, a lot of utensils in the kitchen, nice backyard area, 2 bathrooms and 1 additional toilet so it was handy with 11 people. Place is quite clean and has a lot of things that you might need, e.g. laundry and dryer in the garage. We also used bbq to grill some dinner and nice oven in case you want to cook something else rather than bbq. Another very useful thing, there are 2 dishwashers in the kitchen that is also quite useful for a big group like ours. Thank you for our comfortable stay, Norman!

Amazing house for a large group. Ideal for mountain biking, the outdoor sauna and spas are great.

Great stay and awesome accomodation. Exactly as described and bigger. Luxury bedding and linen plus plenty of space for the kids. Not too far from town, convenient location. We appreciated the fireplace and games/toys. Would absolutely stay again.

I highly recommended this beautiful home. It was lovely, clean, spacious and having two modern clean bathrooms was a bonus. Samantha was an awesome host and very friendly. Great place for a family especially toddlers, we found the place perfect for older children as well. Definitely would book again!

My friends & I had a marvellous stay. The place was perfect, great views & peaceful surroundings. It was lovely being on the deck, watching the birds & looking out onto Lake Rotoiti. We were there for mountains biking & paddleboarding on the lake. It is 20mins to the mtbike tracks. The instructions & local recommendations were great. If you want a peaceful stay in a fantastic location then this is the place to be. Many thanks to the owner :-)

This truly feels like a home! It has all the amenities you need, including a washer/dryer. I loved waking up to the view of the lake! I ended up adding an extra night to my stay ✌🏽

G AMAZING WEEKEND SPARKED A TRAVEL BUZZ 😂🙌🏽 Loved the location of the house- it was convenient + away from town and traffic but not too far away where it was a hassle to travel to tourist attractions. On arrival we were able to navigate unlocking the house which we liked. Felt very homely. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, neighbours weren’t a hassle felt very safe will definitely consider booking again

Perfect location to enjoy all that Rotorua has to offer. We rode our mountain bikes right from the house into the spectacular Whakarewarewa forest. Having access to the garage was very helpful to store and care for our bikes. The house is large and spacious with every amenity we needed. Many great restaurants and shops were a short drive into the center of town. Kate was a great host, we enjoyed our stay very much!

Gorgeous place. We met the friendly neighbour who filled us in about the history of area. Location was lovely. In true form my daughter left behind her iPad and the host was kind enough to arrange for this to be posted to us.

Lynden and his family were great hosts, they were very accomodating to our needs and were very responsive. The place was very nice and clean, good location as well, the lakes and other parks were in walkable distance. Highly recommend.

Tamson’s place was perfect for our family (parents, with adult children, their partners, plus dogs). Beautiful big home with space and privacy for everyone. Areas to swim, walk, run or bike around different lakes, private spa to relax in afterwards. Close enough to Rotorua for shopping, but out in beautiful nature and so peaceful. Highly recommend Tamson’s place!

Lovely little room with a great view. We went knowing it was a room on one end of someones home so no surprises (I think this may have threw some reviewers). Waking up with a coffee and the view over the lake made it so we had trouble finding the will to leave in the morning. The host was responsive and gave us our privacy also.

This is the second time we have stayed at the lake house in Lake Tarawera, We couldn't recommend it enough! Such an awesome spot if you have a boat or jetskis , If not they have kayaks you are welcome to use. Playground is about a 3-5 minute walk for the kids, Tennis Court is right at your door step. All the neighbors are very friendly and make you feel right at home. If your thinking about booking don't think about it just book it you will have an amazing time!

This might sound like a bad review but it is not meant as such. It's so future guests aren't surprised. We enjoyed our stay here immensely. The chalet was perfect for a couple. Nice comfy firm bed, good kitchenette and ensuite. The chalet is on the grounds of a Christian camp facility for horse riding. The grounds are expansive. There's a small lake with kayaks for use. There's a pool with cool water and a very warm open air spa. The grounds themselves are lovely but the pool area needs some aesthetic tidying. The pools are clean and good - they just need their floors painted. They're also amongst what seems to be a semi abandoned construction area. But get past that superficial stuff, the pools are fine for purpose. A dawn spa was delightful. The grounds themselves seem to have 500 unfinished DIY projects on the go. The roads around the facility seem to have been through an artillery barrage so if you have a very low profile car, be wary. Despite the above we LOVED staying here. It was hot weather when we stayed and the room was very warm. In fact it could use a plug-in fan to circulate the air a bit. I totally recommend staying here and when I come back to Rotorua I'd definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay, very nice and cozy. Dharmen was very attentive to all needs and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely book this place again.
