Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Rovaniemi

Our stay at Tarja and Scott’s house was one of the best adventures of our lives. Even before the trip, they were very kind and helpful. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had everything we needed. The house was cozy and warm, with plenty of firewood. There is also a beautiful kota near the house where we could cook on the fire and watch the northern lights. We were lucky to see the aurora five nights in a row. Scott also gave us great advice about hiking and kindly let us stay a bit longer on our last day. Before we left, we had a nice talk and learned more about his life. We will always remember this peaceful place by the lake and hope to return one day. :)

Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

Very lovingly furnished AirBnB in a great location. Walking in about 10-15 minutes you are in the city center and yet the location of the accommodation is very quiet. The kitchen was super equipped and it was very cozy. There were cozy slippers, a fireplace, and a selection of games. The beds were very comfortable too. We had a great time and highly recommend the place. :)

Pasi is a very responsive and friendly host. The house is typical and at the same time very pleasant with all the necessary comforts, the bedding is of good quality and there is everything you need in the house and nearby. We recommend and thank Pasi for our stay.

Sanna's place is amazing.. great facilities and complete amenities. heated floor. fire place. Sanna is very helpful and fast response when you ask anything. She even have two wall clock. One for the time in rovaniemi, and the other she set it for the time from our country. Don't forget to ask to meet Mintaka the Husky if you get a chance to stay at Sanna's place.

We had a lovely stay with our two children ages 1 and 3. Natalia went above and beyond with fresh flowers and groceries for breakfast, this was a really thoughtful touch to the stay. There were gates for the top and bottom of the stairs that gave us peace of mind with the children. The home is cozy and attractively decorated. The location is breathtaking right on the lake with an authentic sauna and barbecue hut available to use. We highly recommend this home and location if you're looking for a traditional private lake cabin. We really enjoyed the remote location, note that it is 20-30 minutes to Rovaniemi and as described, make sure to come with a vehicle that can drive on dirt and gravel roads.

We had a wonderful stay here. One of the most beautiful and peaceful places we've ever been. The sauna and hot tub were perfect to get out of the cold, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen/ living area was well done and had everything we needed. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights just walking outside. We couldn't have asked for more and will certainly be back!

Thank you for a great stay with you! It was great! We stayed there for five days, could see aurora lights every night and had a lot of fun exploring the area. The accommodation is easily accessible by bus and thanks to some preparation we were able to cook and eat excellently in the well-equipped kitchen. An absolute highlight was also the lunch cooked by the residents, followed by bingo. We would like to say a big thank you. It was very cozy with you!

We stayed at Laura’s cozy home for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at her place. Her lovely home had everything we needed and so much more. It was spotlessly clean with helpful info throughout to make us feel welcome. The sauna was wonderful. The location is beautiful and in the middle of nature, with many trails. We even saw the Northern Lights! Easy access to/from the City Center by bus. Grocery within walking distance. All communications with Laura were very fast, helpful and informative. She is a terrific host! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Loved the place, wonderful sauna, beautiful balcony. Owner was super responsive, attentive and communicative. Sofa bed is not the best for 2 adults but it's soft and comfy, we had children with us so they slept fine there. Will definitely look for this apartment next time i stay in Rovaniemi!

A clean log cabin with nice amenities. Remember that there is no AC, which might become an issue during late summer. Great communication, we felt that our questions and issues were important to them. Great value for the money.

A beautiful little rustic wooden hut in the middle of the national park. The location is excellent, you can walk to the supermarket and restaurants as well as to the ski slope or beautiful hiking trails in no time. The hut was clean, the bathroom and sauna are great. The living and sleeping area is rather functional, everything is quite cramped. The kitchen could possibly use a little renovation. But we still had 2 great days and for our stay it was completely fine. I would recommend that sensitive sleepers bring a sleep mask and earplugs. The house cannot be darkened in summer and there is a very loud ticking clock that can rob you of sleep.

We had a lovely 3 days at this apartment. We had all the facilities to cook and look after ourselves which was what we needed. The sauna was an added bonus. Great location and very comfortable apartment.

We loved our stay with Kati. She is quite polite and quick to respond. Everything was very clear. House itself is very comfortable and cozy. It was pristine clean and we got welcoming cookies and chocolate. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The only slight inconvenience is location if you are coming during holidays because buses don’t run every day and they are kinda rare. This was written on Katis profile so we knew what we are getting into. But everything else was perfect. Thank you Kati for hosting us, our time in Rovaniemi was excellent ☺️

This place is MAGICAL! My hubby and I loved our stay! The cold plunge and sauna were amazing, relaxing and much needed after a long travel day. We rented a car, short drive from airport and there is parking. Very safe and cozy. The toilet was easy to use. The breakfast was very good, Tuulia accommodated us with a to go breakfast as we had an early flight. My hubby made us a fire and the bed was so cozy!! Will be back for sure! We had an absolutely amazing time at Otso Lodge in Lapland! The cabin was beautiful and provided the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The view from the cabin was simply breathtaking—truly a tranquil retreat. The weather was also fantastic this time of year, which made our experience even better. We were able to enjoy some fantastic activities close to the lodge, including a thrilling husky safari and a visit to a local farm, both of which were unforgettable experiences. It was also incredibly peaceful to simply walk around the area and take in the stunning natural surroundings. Overall, Otso Lodge provided us with the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Lapland!

We had an amazing time at the cabin. We got a Bolt from the city ( €65 each way ) as we did not want to hire a car. We stocked up on food and drink at the supermarket before setting off. The Cabin is truly wonderful, so peaceful with beautiful views. I knew we would have a composting toilet, however there is a very clean flushable toilet only a 3 minute walk away. I thought I would miss having a shower, but found the Finnish way of bathing in the Sauna to be enjoyable. We saw the Northern Lights both nights, dipped in the ice hole, poached in the hot tub, went for lovely walks ( and used the snow shoes! ) The bed was so comfortable we had great nights sleep. I would recommend this cabin to all. We loved it and would come back again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful, so peaceful and you can do cross country skiing just outside. We enjoyed the open fireplace and sauna.

Very cozy cottage in a super beautiful location. There was a welcome feeling when everything had been thought out so that the visit would go smoothly.

Really cozy and homey cottage. Wood-fired sauna is a really big plus. Children also enjoyed the toys in the cottage and the opportunity to see the salmon jump. A beautiful place and a great choice for a salmon fisherman in the middle of the summer.
