A swimming beach is 5 minutes drive away near the Turangi Yacht Club. With 30 years’ experience, your host Jim, is a fishing guide and can offer fly fishing casting tuition if desired.

Tucked away in a very private tranquil setting only 9km from Taupo is our 1 bedroom guesthouse with separate kitchen area, lounge and bathroom. Surrounding the cottage is an expansive deck where you can take in the stunning country garden or just sit back and listen to the silence. Plenty of parking. WIFI available - not fibre, but get 15-20mbps. Sometimes WIFI is erractic for reasons unknown. Sorry no pets.
