Guest house holiday rentals in Russell

I booked this accommodation for my colleagues, and it was perfect for their needs while working away from home. The communication with the hosts was excellent and made the booking process and any adjustments extremely smooth and easy. I would definitely book again in the future.

Unfortunately a cyclone rolled through while I was staying at Vicki‘s place. I got to walk around the first day that I was there and enjoyed the house for an evening, but the power went out so I had to cut my stay short. When I woke up, Vicki had left pancakes and hot water for me to make coffee. She also gave me a refund for my second night. She had gone above and beyond to make my stay as enjoyable as it could be under the circumstances.

Right in the heart of the charming historic village of Kohukohu, Floyd Cottage was a gorgeous place to stay. We arrived just after a big storm in Northland and Lise was quick to help us feel safe and right at home. The cottage is stylish with some quirky touches. The garden is lush and beautiful. We were really impressed with the extra touches, such as some lovely fresh flowers on our arrival.

We had a wonderful stay! Easy check in and cottage was exactly as pictured. John was a wonderful host with suggestions to make our New Zealand holiday even better. Would highly recommend to others and would definitely stay here again.

Private and peaceful with a beautiful beach on the doorstep. Wonderful spot!

Brenda’s accommodation was very nice in a peaceful location. She and Darrell were very friendly and communicated very well. Did have to get use to a Macerator toilet with the noise it made when the water was on.

Dream alert!!!! Absolutely stunning and one of our peak experiences of the year. Vanessa was so kind, generous and helpful and it really made our stay. A wonderful place to relax, recharge, connect with nature and to plan our vision for 2025. 100% recommend.

We loved staying at Debra’s guest studio apartment. Amazing views of the ocean and forest from the entire unit. It had everything k needed to cook dinner. It is 5 minutes from the bay of islands marina and boat yard and was so nice to stay there while our sailboat was in the boatyard. Highly recommend and hope to be back.

Amy was a very lovely host who was very accommodating and quick to respond if we needed help with anything. We enjoyed the morning homemade muesli. The place was very clean and the heatpump kept us warm. The surrounding area was very nice and quiet and it was so sweet being woken up by the sound of beautiful birds. The location was suitable for the activities that me and my husband wanted to do in the upper North Island.

Second time staying here for work - It’s a great spot for an overnight trip, really close to the job site and easy, comfortable, and convenient.

We only stayed one night, wish we could have stayed for longer. The accommodation was immaculate, every tiny detail had been thought of including milk and water in the fridge. There was a lovely balcony to sit out and enjoy the beautiful view and the bed and bedding was extremely comfortable. It was beautifully appointed, super clean and modern and in a very short walking distance to everything in Russell. Will definitely be back.

We loved this AirBnb set in a really pretty semi-rural part of Kerikeri. A really nice modern space with gorgeous views and a cool river at the bottom of the property which we wished we had time to explore further. Nice and close to Kerikeri town, but far enough away that you could enjoy no traffic noise and lots of stars.

Wonderful stay to get lost in some beautiful landscape. The property was beautiful and perfect for us as it rained all weekend. We lit the fire and used the sauna to keep us warm. The space was clean and had everything we needed for the 2 nights we stayed for. Despite it being a one bedroom property it felt spacious enough for the 6 of us staying over.

A perfect place to stay. The views were lovely from the balcony. The bed was firm and comfy. The linens were lovely. The amenities in this space were above and beyond - the fridge was stocked with milk for the Nespresso, wine, juice, sparkling water, and beer. The bathroom had all the basics for hygiene. As a matter of fact, the bathroom features were impressive - bathrobes, a towel warmer, a jacuzzi tub, and a large shower with great pressure! And the space itself was everything. 10/10 would recommend!!!

The location was stunning, bellrock lodge outdoes its photos. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily book to stay again in a heartbeat! Stuart and Carol were friendly and accommodating and gave us good local recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed a breakfast dip in the tub and the deck was private and peaceful with an amazing view. Great place to stay in a great location, you cannot find a better place to have a morning coffee anywhere. Beautiful sunrises. Great and most helpful hosts who go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible.
