Gorgeous location with a fabulous view and a deck to enjoy it. A Four Square nearby and a few restaurants (an excellent Indian place in Kaeo). We had a fantastic stay over the long weekend

Quite and serene place to relax and unwind. Pahia town center is about 30 minutes drive. Experienced beautiful night sky full of stars.

Rach and Nev are great hosts. Very helpful and friendly to deal with, responses are always timely and nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend staying here and hope that we stay again soon

The house is lovely, large and so comfortable — with views from every room! The location is extraordinary. Easy to walk 2 min into the charming town with everything you need and lots of things to do all around. But it’s nice just to sit on the porch and take it all in. It is truly a magic place and Lyn’s home is the most welcoming and wonderful place to be! We hope to come back!

We were a group of three couples (six people total), so we booked a place with three bedrooms to comfortably accommodate everyone. Sophie’s place turned out to be a great choice — all of us were very satisfied with the stay. One thing I had overlooked before booking was that there is only one bathroom (toilet, shower, and hand washing all in one space), so we had to be mindful of taking turns to avoid overlaps. Also, there were no mirrors in the bedrooms, which made it a bit inconvenient when getting ready. It would be even better if mirrors were placed inside the wardrobes or somewhere in the rooms. Only one of the three bedrooms had an oil heater, so the couple staying in that room were a bit envious by the others. ;-) Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and we’d be happy to come back the next time we travel to this area.

I would like to start off by saying how peaceful and beautiful and majestic this land is. The farmhouse is an amazing place to stay if you want some peace and quiet if you want to be able to see the Milky Way at night or wake up to cows and sheep in the morning. It was a last-minute Airbnb find for myself and my friend and Marissa was fabulous! She came over and made sure the house was good for us and when we got there, she also left us four fresh eggs, some freshly made hot cross buns, and some milk for the coffee. I felt like home!! The kitchen is unbelievable. The beds were so comfortable I didn’t wanna wake up. The sunrises over the mountains and the mist on the fields was beautiful. We got the most beautiful pictures of the sunrise and also some amazing pictures of the stars at night. I would recommend anybody in that area. The farmhouse is the place to go! Marissa and her husband showed us this beautiful scenic route to drive which we did and it was fabulous! The Farmhouse rocks

We had a lovely stay – the house was perfect for our group, with plenty of space and a great layout. It’s well-equipped, beautifully located, and the views are stunning. Despite the wild weather, it was a relaxing place to unwind. We were lucky with sunshine on our last day and made the most of the lawn, trampoline, and pool. The house isn’t a show home and could use a refresh in places, but it’s comfortable, homely, and ideal for groups. Communication was easy and everything was as described. Would absolutely stay again – I bet it's even better in sunny weather!

Anika was a fantastic host and the house is close to so many cute shops and cafes.

We can’t wait to come back here. We were four couples, two young children. The house and facilities gave everyone plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together. It’s a great space with plenty to do.

We really enjoyed our stay, the fresh oranges were great. Claes was a great host and he checked in with us to make sure we were alright and didn’t need anything. The area is beautiful and a great base to come back to after various day trips. The animals are friendly.

We came up from Auckland for a wedding & the property was local to everything The property was great and both Rob & his wife were lovely. We barely seen them so we decided to go say hello down at their Phat House bar in haruru. We had a couple of nephews come and visit while we were up aswell . Catching up with whanau and coming back to relax there was lovely .

This was the perfect base for while I was working up Kerikeri ways. And this time with a young puppy in tow it was just an awesome place to stay - he in particular loved the kunekunes, which actually were better at "sit" than he was! I think the cottage was just perfect for what i was after - having things like oil, salt, pepper and tea & coffee were an awesome touch, as well as the oranges! Made all the difference for someone who was looking for a home away from home. I will be back and highly recommend. The cottage has everything one would need and would make a great base for travelers and workers alike. Wifi was really fast and during rain days I managed to get a lot of laptop work done too!

Gorgeous! Well located, beautiful private cottage. You cannot go wrong booking with Steve, Dot and Charlie. Wish we had time to stay longer; will definitely return.

What a tremendous place to stay! This is certainly a magic spot and for 80% of the time the weather was accommodating and gave us the opportunity to explore this part of the coastline. The diving in the bay itself is on the average side unless you like Kina and there are few fish inshore but the visibility is good and boat fishing pretty phenomenal. The house is immaculate, spacious, warm and includes many things you would not expect from short term accommodation. We were even able to bake to cake! Barry's communication was top notch and they really went the extra mile to make sure we got the most enjoyment out of our trip. Hard to fault a thing. Thanks again- will definitely be back again- hopefully with a boat!!

We stayed for a week and were very impressed with the quality of the property. Both bathrooms were large and have wet room showers and a large bath which was great. The bedrooms were very comfortable and also spacious, as were the living areas. The outside to the rear had a large decked area with seating and hammock with unbeatable views. It’s situated just outside of Kerikeri, only a 5-10 min drive into the centre so well located. I could go on but all in all, a great property with which we would not hesitate to recommend. The host was great, very communicative and helpful.

Steve was a fantastic host—very responsive, helpful, and flexible with check-in and move-out times. The location was stunning! We had a private beach to ourselves all week, gorgeous views, and easy access to the longest footbridge in the Southern Hemisphere. The property also included two kayaks, which we used to explore the nearby rocks with incredible views and crystal-clear water. Our only hiccup was the lack of linens, but this was clearly stated in the Airbnb listing—we just missed it. I recommend reading the listing carefully, as towels and sheets are only provided for an additional charge. Also, nearly the entire house is carpeted, so be mindful with drinks. Overall, a great stay!

We stayed in this beach house for a month. What a great place - location, amenities, proximity to Russell. The ocean is right across a quiet road and is always there for a swim. The kitchen was overstocked with pots, pans, and utensils - everything we needed. Sheree and Nicole were great - communication and response. We absolutely loved this place and are already making plans to return. Ten stars!

The drive to Lees place was no where near as bad as I thought it would be. Easy in our little car. The view was breathtaking and the hosts were so friendly and accommodating. loved it.

Loved our stay here, we felt right at home and the hosts went above and beyond to cater to our needs! It was a peaceful and private area with the best views and the best cherry tomatoes! The Cottage was cozy yet roomy and very well equipped with everything you need and well kept. The garden outside is gorgeous and the best place for a cup of tea in the morning looking over the lake. We hope to stay again in the near future, we were even able to bring our dog and she loved it too! Thankyou again Renata and Bernard until next time! x
