STAY at Ahangama

STAY at Ahangama is a 1950s built villa renovated to its current standard in 2016. The villa is very spacious and lets in plenty of light, especially in the main livingroom area. The villa features a middle courtyard with a fish pond and a pool with a deck to cool off the usually hot temperature in Galle. You can reach Ahangama beach within five minutes (walking), and Mirissa beach or Unawatuna beach in 20 minutes by vehicle. The Galle Fort is within a 25 minute drive from our property.

Welcome to beach villa on Weligama Bay in Sri Lanka! Down a narrow, leafy lane off the main Galle-Colombo road, our new, modern villa overlooks the sand and surf to a limitless horizon. The villa has a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area, and an adjacent lounge space. The two en suite, a/c bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, will accommodate four guests. Free WiFi of course. Weligama is only a five minute drive away and Mirissa Beach is less than fifteen minutes.

This is the perfect place for couples or solo travellers to relax and unwind, surrounded by nature, whilst being conveniently located close to the beaches, surf and buzzing atmosphere of Ahangama. Licuala’s Pool Bungalow is a studio styled home designed for slow living and tropical relaxation. Spacious and bright, this house is set by the pond and rice paddy and intended for full immersion into nature. This is one of five hideaway homes on the estate. Each house is hidden by its own flora and fauna. Our homes were designed to give a sense of privacy and space, bringing you close to nature to rest and be inspired by. Kabalana beach is a 5min walk away.

Studio Aurora offers a spacious studio with sleek design, spectacular ocean views and direct beach access. Just steps away from the best cafes, restaurants, bars, beaches and breaks, Studio Aurora is at the center of it all! During high season town can be busy and noise from the local bars on may disturb some guests.
