One out of our five delicately renovated apartments located on the second floor of a charming, characterful farmhouse. It is one of the oldest buildings of a cosy little village in the Valle d’Isarco in Northern Italy. We find ourselves right in the center of sun-blessed South Tyrol, on a hilltop at the entrance of the Gardena and Funes valleys. Close to the dolomites mountains but not far away from the popular towns of Bolzano and Bressanone it is an ideal starting point to explore the region.

The holiday apartment "Glocklechnhof Sonnenschein", which is situated in Steinhaus in Ahrntal/Valle Aurina, in South Tyrol, overlooks the surrounding mountains. The 55 m² property consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and can therefore accommodate 4 people. In the middle of it all, in an idyllic secluded location on the slope of the mountains, is the Hochgruberhof with its own cheese dairy. The two-storey chalet "Chalet Henne - Hochgruberhof" is built of natural materials and measures 70 m2.

Our house is situated in an extremely quiet location on the outskirts of St. Johann, far from through traffic.

Vacation home in the mountains

Large cozy traditional apartment on the first floor in the mountains. 1 min walk to the bus (ski bus in winter) and by bus you can reach 2 ski resorts within 5-10 min (Kronplatz 30 min). Families or groups of friends are always welcome, we have a beautiful garden and a beautiful view of the mountains. Sights easily accessible by bus (Burgtaufers, Nativity Museum, Mining Museum, Climate Tunnel, Mineral Museum...) and there are also many hiking trails that we recommend
