Great added touches

Recently visit the Nashville Indiana area to sightsee. The cabin was adorable and decorated for Christmas. We brought our two small dogs they loved the fenced in backyard. We made a fire in the pit one night and ordered a pizza and hung out in our cozy cabin. On Saturday we visited the town of Story a beautiful car ride from our cabin. During the month of December The Story Inn offers a very special dining experience. The entire dining room is illuminated exclusively with candles and oil lamps. The Story Inn staff all dressed in authentic Victorian attire and live traditional Christmas music playing from the piano. Matt Gordon the Wine Director of the Story Inn broke out in song several times throughout our dinner. “He has an amazing voice”. On Sunday we attended Chris Isaak 2019 Holiday Tour in Nashville, Indiana. Had a blast seeing Chris Isaak he put on a great show. The venue was beautiful not a bad seat in the place and the sound system was perfect. It was a lovely getaway and we would highly recommend the cabin and hope to return soon

This is a rural peace of paradise. Rolling hills and cornfields abound. If you like quiet and nature, horses and some friendly dogs.. this is for you! A very picturesque rustic setting with very comfortable accommodations. I can’t wait to return for a longer stay. A small attached residence to owners home. Kitchen w dining area off living room. Small bathroom with shower off bedroom. Very nice furnishings, comfortable bed and clean. This would be ideal for 2-3 people. A great stay.

Therisa went above and beyond to make this a cozy retreat! There were snacks, drinks, and toiletries. The place was just what we expected and we were able to relax, watch TV, explore her property, and play with her super friendly dogs on site when we wanted. She has a beautiful farm she offered for us to explore and we pet the horses while enjoying the beautiful sites! It's definitely away from towns and traffic, so a quiet retreat is a good description! She was very kind and met us in person. Very personable. Highly recommend this little place as a retreat from the busyness of life!

It's a bit off the beaten path, meaning if you're looking for quiet and seclusion when not enjoying whatever you came to town for, this is your spot. No stove/oven, but the kitchenette with fridge/freezer, microwave, and sink worked just fine for our needs. Enjoy watching the birds out the side window. We saw several cardinals at one time, plus blue jays, various finches and others. We enjoyed meeting the horses as well! Very soft mattress, so hopefully that meets your needs. Large bedroom, large bathroom, small shower. About 45 min from Paoli Peaks. Would stay again.

Just a great place to get away for any given time. The cabin and the land are both beautiful. We found ourselves not wanted to leave towards the end. Highly recommend for any type of event. Our event was a guys weekend and it worked out really nice.

Awesome cabin!! Very remote and private and the lake is absolutely beautiful. Even though it was cold, we sat outside and watched the ducks and geese on the lake. We did a lot of hiking while there. And there is a cute little trail that goes near the lake. My 7 year old loved the little creeks on the property. And my puppy ran off in the woods lol. The owners got the wifi setup the day before we arrived! My son was super excited because he could play on his iPad. All amenities were included. If it was warmer, I would have taken the canoe over to the baby island in the lake. Next time Id like to stay longer.

Great cabin, amazing lake! The cabin is spacious and clean, and the location on its own private lake is perfect. The lake is beautiful, and there is easy access to a canoe which you can take to the tiny island, or a trail that goes around the lake partway. The hot tub is situated right next to the cabin on the lakefront, providing convenience and amazing views. The stone porch is great, with lots of room for entertaining and fires/grilling. The owners were very helpful (make sure you read the directions to find the cabin!) and went out of their way to help us secure an extra night. All in all, a great experience for us.

The cabin is quite remote, down a very curvy road that is SO MUCH FUN to drive! And once there - breathtaking. The view is incredible, and there are acres and acres to explore. The cabin is beautiful and well equipped with a fully appointed kitchen, every dish, pan, appliance, and utensil you can imagine, even a wine fridge and an adorable "coffee bar" stocked with coffee, mugs, cream and sugar. Both bathrooms are nice, with a small shower upstairs and a larger full-size tub and shower downstairs. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with nice mattresses and linens, extra blankets, plenty of storage and closet space, and there were even playpens in the closet for guests with little ones. There are fishing rods, life jackets, and a bait fridge on the screened porch, and a canoe by the lake. The owners thought of so many little extras - flowers on the counter, soft blankets on the couch and chair for snuggling in front of the fire place, holiday décor, even dog dishes for my furry best buddy. Plenty of nice soft towels, and access to a laundry room in case you run out. I enjoyed the patio area, which has a fire pit, grill, and smoker, and found it to be a perfect place to enjoy my morning coffee and the view of the lake. My dog and I spent a few pleasant hours walking in the woods and then relaxing by the gorgeous stone fireplace. Cell service comes and goes but it was nice to disconnect and enjoy the quiet. I was there in cold weather, but would love to go back in the summer because I really want to jump in that beautiful lake, and again in the fall to enjoy the stunning Brown County foliage.

The location is convenient for many restaurants within 10-20 minutes drive, and any part of Columbus can be reached quickly via highway from here. Also convenient to Nashville. Very recommendable!

What a wonderful place! Decor was beautiful, internet was very good, the bed was so comfortable, place was just as pictured on Airbnb. The only thing we could not find the pillow cases for the extra pillows in the closet, which we needed since we used the sofa bed. Other than that it was great!

Incredible, immaculate, cozy, comfortable, and S P A C I O U S! This hidden gem is just lovely, and super convenient to everything. Shawn was an attentive and communicative host; the space was super clean, and there were so many thoughtful extras: books and magazines ... bottled water, K-cups/creamer, snacks ... tons of fluffy towels and nicer-than-hotel-grade toiletries ... and the record player (my favorite part)! The loft had the perfect accommodations for our group! The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the coffee & snacks left out. The space was super cute, the beds were extra comfortable, and the towels in the bathroom were deluxe. Check-in was a breeze and Shawn had great communication. I would 100% recommend staying here.

This cabin was the perfect location. 1/2 mile from town but secluded and relaxing. Nashville is such a cute little town and we will definitely be back to stay at Daffodil Hill. Our dogs loved being by the fireplace and the bed was super comfy. It was so quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was amazing to still be able to enjoy being outside despite it being winter. This is the perfect little retreat from Indianapolis.

This is an adorable little house. It's warm and cozy with plenty of space outside to roam and play with the dogs. We took full advantage of the fire pit, grill and hot tub outside and spent evenings by the fire inside reading and watching Christmas movies and football. This house is close enough to town to walk, but there are no sidewalks, and getting back to the house is a bit steep. Otherwise the house is perfectly located between town and local parks and attractions. We highly recommend for future travelers and look forward to getting back to Brown County in 2020.

This cabin is charming and very convenient to Nashville. This is the best of both worlds with the proximity to town while maintaining a secluded and private feel.

Everything was as-advertised—this cabin felt secluded yet was pretty close to town. We really enjoyed going to the west entrance of the state park on this trip to Brown County. I’ll just note to travelers that Uber/Lyft don’t operate in Nashville, so if you plan to take in the great nearby distilleries/breweries, you might want to make plans that don’t include those services.

If you are looking for a five star, white glove and chandler accommodation this rust log cabin will probably not impress you.. if however you are looking for a charming 100 year old character filled log cabin with updated amenities then you will no doubt fall in love with this cottage. It’s location less than five minutes from downtown was such a blessing making it easy to come and go at anytime of the day. Eric was very responsive to our questions as this was our first AirBnB adventure.. with our first experience being so awesome it certainly won’t be our last and we hope to use Eric’s services ago in the future.

We stayed here for a weekend getaway and everything was absolutely perfect! The cabin is located very close to town but feels private and is tucked away in the trees. The whole place was cozy, clean, and we had all of the amenities we needed. The hot tub was a huge bonus too! We will be back!

This charming and cozy bungalow has a wonderful energy to it. It's tucked into a very quiet neighborhood super close to Columbus's groovy downtown, and I was able to take a daily walk to a glorious park along the river, right from the house. Walkability is one of my main issues when I use air bnb, and this property was all of that. wonderful.

This little hideaway was a perfect getaway. Perfect for hiking, and perusing Nashville. No necessities were missing, from the kitchen to the bathroom. We had a lot of fun in Nashville, but relaxing by the fire in the massage chair was the perfect nightcap to a long day’s hike.

When renting a place to stay there is always that worry that the place won't be as pretty or clean as the pictures. Not here the place was squeaky clean and attractive. There are so many extras included, like a welcoming bottle of local wine and a variety of coffees and hot chocolates. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

The hideaway was perfect in every way! Great location and great space! Gerri was the perfect host....even going the extra mile with balloons and wine to make my Mom’s birthday extra special. Can’t wait for our next visit.

The Hideaway was the most perfect space we could've asked for on our girls weekend to Nashville. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, chocolates, and tons of local tips which helped us to find some local holiday events that were going on while we were in town. We were less than five minutes from every destination we wanted to go to in the area. The Murphy bed was down and made when we arrived since three beds were needed. We all slept comfortably throughout the weekend. We were impressed with the thoughtful touches such as bathroom amenities, a Keurig with a full rack of coffees, cider, hot chocolate and biscotti cookies, condiments in the refrigerator, standing fans for the bedrooms, motion lights in the hallway to help you find your way to the bathroom at night, and even a massage chair and easy to use gas fireplace! We didn't have great weather but the backyard fire pit and views would make a lovely place to spend time as well. We would recommend the Hideaway to anyone and will most certainly be returning on our next trip to Nashville!

Came to brown county to run the hilly half 5k and decided to make a weekend out of it! The location couldn't be better. 5 minutes from the state park and downtown Nashville. There is a binder in the Hideaway with tons of great recommendations for food and things to do! Amenities galore in the space itself. There is everything you need to feel right at home and then some! Gerri was great at communicating and always texted back instantly. Highly recommend and would stay here again without a doubt!

Gorgeous setting in the country with a lovely view of the pond from the house. We enjoyed an evening walk across the suspension bridge to the tiny island. In the morning we ventured out to the chicken coop in the hopes of fresh eggs.....but the chickens didn't leave us any! Lol Overall wonderful stay!

It is a beautiful cabin. Feels like home. Touches of rustic decor and a beautiful view outside as well. The hot tub is screened in on the back porch. Great jacuzzi bath tubs up and downstairs. 5 minutes from Nashville. It’s perfect! Lindsey is great as well! She messaged me personally and offered help with anything and everything we needed!

Very nice and spacious cabin. We had three couples stay and all of us were very happy with the accommodations. Very good location and easy access to everywhere. If you want to be in a cabin that is surrounded by woods, quiet and want privacy this may not be the right place for you, as it is on a busy road. It was perfect for us, as we wanted a place close to the Music Center and downtown shopping. We had had a wonderful weekend and would definately stay there again.

I fell in love with this spot instantly! As soon as I stepped inside, I felt relaxed. Very clean, and has everything you need. It’s close enough to Nashville, that if you forget something you can drive down the road and pick it up. The cabin is very spacious and very cozy indeed. I didn’t want to leave!

This cabin is so nice. It had everything we needed to feel right at home. We loved the extra touch of all the Christmas decorations and cozy blankets. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom with the king size bed, it was so warm and cozy. Lindsey was so quick and kind to get back to me quickly with all my questions before and during our trip. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a cabin in the Brown County area.

We did a couples getaway at the cozy bear and had an amazing stay! Everything was as listed- clean, well designed, and cozy. The cabin is just outside of town which is nice for grabbing dinner or groceries. One thing worth noting is that the cabin is very close to the road however traffic gets slim around night time so it wasn’t an issue for us. The fireplace and hot tub were a huge perk as well!

This air bnb is in prime location to all the cute shops in Nashville, IN. You can walk to local artisan shops, coffee shops, and restaurants. The only downside to this unit was that there was no wifi, I had some work I needed to get done but could not. Wasn't expecting there to be no internet. Other than that, everything was great.

We highly recommend this cabin! Amy was a great host and was always quick to respond to questions we had before and after we arrived. The location was perfect! Yes it’s close to a main road but it didn’t bother us at all, we found it to be very convenient and still very private. The cabin was clean throughout and was perfect for the two of us. The hot tub was one of the main reasons we booked here, it’s located in the front of the house but is very private, really neat setting actually. Definitely glad we chose to stay here and recommend you do the same!

This charming cabin-like home is located just over a mile outside of Nashville IN but is surrounded by a hillside and creek in the back and great thought has gone into creating a private surrounding while being located just off the highway. This was perfect for our girls’ weekend; clean and very comfortable beds. The hot tub was great for a brisk fall day! We will definitely return!

Clean, cozy, comfortable, and quiet. It was precisely what I hoped for. As of this writing no one delivers food there, so either bring your own or drive a few minutes into town. Also, WiFi is minimal and does not support streaming, but there are movies there to watch.

This location is prime! The cabin felt secluded enough to enjoy the outdoors and get that wintery, forest vibe but close enough to everything to drive into town and shop. My family enjoyed the large open space that allowed us to all relax and enjoy company. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay! The cabin was much bigger than expected. The pictures really didn't do this place justice. We loved the porch swing, hot tub, and large kitchen with extensive cookware. The cabin is very close to downtown Nashville but still feels secluded. The road is a little noisy but we didn't mind because we were so close to downtown. The biggest issues we had were not being able to find a dust pan to use while sweeping, knives were a little dull, and there weren't any sponges for cleaning dishes with. Thank you for the stay! We hope we can return soon!

I can't recommend the Log Inn enough; it was perfect for a holiday getaway for our group of 8, and we thoroughly enjoyed cooking in the massive kitchen and on the deck, hanging out around the fire pit, and relaxing in the hot tub. Very close to Brown County State Park (beautiful, must see), grocery, and downtown Nashville. Eric was a great host who was able to address a maintenance request on a holiday so that we were more comfortable, which was incredibly hospitable and unexpected. We're already talking about coming back to the Log Inn, we loved it!

Super-stylish, clean, and convenient! Tons of extras provided- detergent, toiletries, water/snacks, coffee, condiments, etc. Our toddler-aged children especially enjoyed the toys, books, and Netflix subscription! Three adults and two children stayed here very comfortably and are thankful for Lucky’s quick responses and hospitality.

A fun, stylish and unexpected home in the heart of Columbus. Lucky provided a binder full of local recommendations and nice touches like slippers and snacks. The house was sparkling clean and well stocked. The second bedroom is a children’s room that includes toys and books to to delight your little ones. Tips: I recommend watching the indie movie “Columbus” before or during your stay. It is fun to retrace scenes from the movie. Don’t miss dinner at Henry’s social club. A lot of things in town are closed on Sunday and in January and February (like the Miller House and Zaharakos), so be sure to check schedules before planning your visit.

In town for a wedding at 1st Christian church and all friends were staying at the Inn at Irwin garden. Uber super convenient and very stylish space!

Lucky and Alisha’s place is filled with art and classic modern furniture to make your stay more beautiful and comfortable. Great shower, a well-stocked kitchen, and a comfortable master bed are among the highlights. You can’t beat this location as a jumping-off point to enjoy Columbus’s architectural wonders. I would come here just to enjoy the I.M. Pei-designed library.

Pamela is hands down the most exceptional and gracious host I've ever had the pleasure of staying with. Her place in Brown County is perfectly clean, stylish, and I felt right at home above her beatifully decorated shop at The Emerald Pencil. I was able to easily walk to all sides of town and come back to rest in her comfy bed and work from the desk. without distrubances. Pamela also helped me coordinate a suprise birthday dinner for my boyfriend complete with pizza, candles, a card, and a table cloth. I can't thank her enough for her hospitality during my visit to Nashville. Stay here.

This was my first stay at an AirBnB and it was a great experience. Pamela was kind, courteous and our room was better than expected. Bedroom was quaint, warm, welcoming, and had just the right of extra touch. She definitely cares about her guests. I would stay with her again and will recommend her to friends and family looking to visit Nashville, IN.

Pamelas place is absolutely gorgeous, if you are looking for a place with Victorian charm, this is where you should stay! Even though Pamela was out of town she made sure to make check in easy and still was able to communicate with us. An added touch was Gordon the cat who lives on the porch, he was very friendly and welcoming!

Pamela and the Emerald Pencil are lovely in every way. Exceptional location provides for easy walking all over Nashville, with a reserved parking space for EP guests! Walkers paradise - easily shop for handmade gifts and crafts, browse art galleries, taste local wine and craft beer, or find live music at the Brown Co. Inn - all within steps of the Emerald Pencil. We also found this a convenient short drive to Bloomington to hear a band at the Bluebird one evening. This cozy, warm and clean upstairs suite was exactly what my husband and I wanted for a relaxing weekend away. Escape the bustle of daily life and slow down in Nashville. Every meal was beyond our expectations, all of Pamela’s suggestions for best local cuisine and treats were delicious! Everyone was so kind. Can’t wait to visit again!

A most charming stay in a most enchanting town. The private room upstairs is as advertised, and Pamela's shop on the first floor is filled with many beautiful and unique items. Location is in the heart of Nashville shops and eateries, all within walking distance.

My mother and I had a lovely time staying at The Emerald Pencil. The location was absolutely perfect--we could walk anywhere in town easily. The space was clean and charming in vintage style. Pamela is a very kind and welcoming host, as is her kitty Gordon. I would love to come and stay again in the spring. Highly recommend.

Close to all stores and shops but room is quiet and cozy. Upstairs of an extremely charming building and above a beautiful little shop. Great room and experience!

Eric is a wonderful host & was very accommodating! Big Sky Cabin is so much more than a “cabin”... it is a grand home! Spacious & loaded with amenities, the beautiful retreat is situated on a hilltop, in a wooded area. It is a place of peacefulness and reflection, even though our group was large. Next time I’m in the area, Big Sky will definitely be my “go to” place! Thanks again, Eric!
