De B&B staat op een mooie, landelijke locatie. Het is er lekker rustig en je kunt goed wandelen in de omgeving. Het ontvangst was fijn en de communicatie liep erg prettig. We hadden een bruiloft in de buurt en de gastheer was zo vriendelijk om ons er naartoe te brengen zodat een taxi of ander vervoer niet nodig was. Echt een aanrader voor als je de rust wilt opzoeken of als uitvalsbasis voor als je in de buurt iets gaat doen!

Fijne zachte ruimte, mooie badkamer! Bed iets te hard, maar dat is persoonlijk. Iets om kleding oid aan op te hangen was welkom geweest. Verder prima nachtje!

Four nights at the beautiful dike house Astrid and Andre stayed. Warm welcome with a bottle of wine and apple juice. The cottage sits in its own grounds just behind the dike with beautiful views of a fen. It is very quiet, if you listen you can hear the freighters sail on the Waal. The kids played great in the large garden, play football and fiddled with the water. The bunk loved the children very much. The cottage is fully equipped. Nearby are many great attractions to visit, Nijmegen and Arnhem are within 30 minutes by car. Burgers Zoo and Doorwerth Castle are a must. But with the number 1, a special experience for young and old: the muZIEum in Nijmegen. Reservations for the tour in the dark with the blind guide is necessary. Really worth it. Astrid and Andre were very helpful. Overall, we had a great time.

We should sleep one night in the beautiful farmhouse of Hernanni and Tilly. Our first experience at an Airbnb, and to get used to randomly at people you do not know come on the floor and stay. We were immediately made to feel welcome by the extended tour and the explanations we received. The dog invited us to play with him in the garden. It felt quite luxurious to be able to use the facilities such as the sauna and Jacuzzi. All areas were well kept, clean and cozy. The morning ended with a delicious and rich breakfast. An excellent base for trips to Nijmegen and Burgers Zoo in Arnhem! A fun and special first experience for us!

Hernanni and his wife welcomed us warmly and we enjoyed lovely breakfasts and access to the beautiful garden. The home is very special, well cared for and very clean. We had easy access to our friends nearby and to town. It was a good stay with them.

Our stay with Hernanni & Tilly was short but nice. We booked two nights but ended up leaving early. We did not realise how far of a drive we had before our plane trip and stayed out to late. The farm house is amazing! Old on the outside and beautiful on the inside. The down side of an old house is everything makes noise and travels. We felt bad but Tilly said the noise does not bother them as they are used to it. The town has 2 windmills, a small Castle and a nice center square. There are several really good restaurants and an ice cream place within walking distance. They have 4 chickens (I loved feeding my bread to them) and fun loving dalmatian(dog).

Excellent accommodation in a beautifully restored farmhouse. The room is cozy, meets for fine. Welcoming reception by, in my case, the son of the house and a delicious breakfast with eggs!

By luxury, we haven't seen any space better than the facilities here. Hernanni and Tilly are wonderful host, very fluent in English and kindly gave us chance to 'occupy' the house and especially the SPA bathtub. We revived perfectly and was well prepared for Amsterdam the next day. It is a pity that we couldn't stay one day more!

Mieke is the sweetest person, she's super hospitable and does everything she can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Her pets are adorable and her breakfast is delicious and large. Thanks for everything Mieke!

Mieke is a very friendly host with that lives with her dog and two cats in a nice neighbourhood and house. The rooms (bedroom, bathroom) are clean and comfortable. Her breakfast in the morning is very good and it was more than i could eat so it is definetly enough (fruit, bread, cereals, an egg). If you want to you can talk with Mieke about different things and she is a good conversational partner. If possible I recommend you to stay some nights at her house while you visit Nijmegen. A very warm welcome, after searching for a while because of all road afsluitngen. After the welcome I was wandering through a beautiful fairy garden and I forgot all traffic stress subiet. Really really beautiful. The atmosphere at home is fine and the bed is really delicious. The care of the 'do it yourself' breakfast was super. In short, a place to linger a little longer, because the environment also lends itself to research! I would have liked the thought and spent around the apartment and nice landlords more spoken! It's a very comfortable B & B, with a beautiful, sometimes very large garden paradise? After a warm welcome we received detailed explanations of the very comfortable rooms. Everything was taken, fresh fruit, coffee and tea makers ee everything for a full breakfast. Only alcoholic drinks have to be paid extra. Alles Super!

Everything was just as described and Claudia was very welcoming. I only stayed overnight, but it seemed like it would be good place to to based for a few days of biking in the countryside while also being close to town. Best of both worlds

Very nice place to stay ! the accomodation is perfect (comfortable bedroom, cosy livingroom, private bathroom) and the breakfast is full of good things to eat and drink. We also had an extra typically dutch food for celebrating new year's day. Claudia and Paul are really friendly, they speak english as well as a bit of french. The beautiful house (with a pretty garden) is 15 min from Nijmegen city center by bike, only 5 min by car. Very good trip, we'll come back for sure !! Merci Claudia & Paul !

The house is situated in a very quiet and convenient to shoot a Po throughout the Netherlands since all destinations are a hour away. The apartment was clean and well maintained and we have lived in 6 without any space problem. I highly recommend it.

The house is perfect to spend a holiday and is geographically positioned in a central location to visit many places of Holland and Belgium. We were in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Brussels, Antwerp, S.Hertogenbosch, Niumegen, Arnhemin and other small features locations. It 'a house to be recommended to everyone and especially for those who want to switch between summer fite to the days of complete rest surrounded by greenery (lawns, trees, etc. lahetti.) We have four of us (2 adults and 2 children 4 and 7 years old) had a very nice week in the house of Egon. Especially the Duplo train and existing games did well with the children. The treehouse was very exciting (there just to keep up with smaller children). The cottage is fully equipped. At the park were mini golf, bowling and indoor play area the children's favorite. Nearby is also plenty to do. So we include the gardens of Appeltern been GeoFort in Herwijnen and the special children's tour of Castle Ammersoyen in Ammerzoden.

Egon's house is absolutely perfect, it has everything you need to feel at home (washing machine, dryer, machine to make your bread, very comfortable beds, toys for kids, etc.) and a very big garden! You can even use wifi, if you need info to plan your stay! Moreover Egon is very kind and answers to any question very quickly. We will definitively come back to Egon's house next time we go to the Nederlands!

The house is located in a vacation park and is very close to many activities in the area. The house is perfect for a family with children, fully equipped, great yard, very cozy and child friendly. Egon is fantastic host - very responsive and helpful, although he is not there.

Our family had an amazing vacation at the cottage. Our four children loved the treehouse, zip line and beach area. It was such a lovely home to come to after our daily outing. its a great house. actually it was more then we expected. the house has everythingi it. including bikes. toys for the children. wonderful outdoor. it really felt like home. the lake is closed by. there is a publice tampoline near the lake and a nice playground,inflated indoor games for rainy days, and a wonderful heated pool. we had great vacation.

Egon & Kim's home was a fantastic place for our family to stay and explore Gelderland and beyond. We had a wonderful stay with Jacqueline and Gerrit in their wonderful house and magnificent gardens. This is a home away from home with excellent rooms and brilliant breakfast. The town of Hernen is beautiful and the castle is fascinating. I would highly recommend a stay with Jacqueline and Gerrit.

I stayed at B&B Family Van Vliet for 8 nights and I was really charmed by the host family. The house is spacious, comfortable and one can easily access it through the main roads nearby (A50, A75). The room is lovely decorated and furnished, clean and has everything necessary. I strongly recommend this B&B.

We had a wonderful stay in Jacqueline's and Gerald's B & B. Both are perfect hosts and truly enjoy looking after their guests. We felt very much at home with them. Not only are they wonderful conversationalists but also great at preparing excellent breakfasts! Hernen was a perfect location for exploring the area between the Maas and the Waal. We spent a whole day in the gardens of Appeltern (giving us lots of inspiration and ideas for our garden!) and the rest of the time cycling around this beautiful part of Gelderland (discovering beautiful towns and villages on the way). We enjoyed our long weekend so much that we hope to be back again soon; this time to taste some of Jacqueline's home cooking!

Ik werd heel vriendelijk ontvangen met koffie in de prachtige (!) tuin. De kamer was schoon en alles wat je nodig zou kunnen hebben was aanwezig. Jacqueline en Gerrit zijn erg gastvrij. Ze doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Ik heb genoten van de gesprekken over de moestuin en de vogels. Erg leuk dat ik de verrekijker mocht gebruiken om vogels te spotten, en dat ik mee mocht op "vogelsafari". Een aanrader!

We spent 4 nights in this hidden paradise. If you are looking for tranquility, peace, nature and unplugging for a few days this is the perfect spot. Communication with Ageeth and arriving was very easy. We felt very free and loved spending the mornings on the picknick table in the middle of the orchards. Such a loving family and relaxt vibe. It's pretty close to Tilburg, which is a nice city for an evening out (go to The Honig Complex). But the other days and nights we spent chilling, reading, cooking, walking.. very nice hideaway for lovers! Thank you so much Ageeth for your hospitality. This is truly an unique place to stay and to indulge in the Dutch culture. Loved talking about the apples and pears as well! :) The best: sun on the terras all day!

I've been to over 20 Airbnbs and this is really one of the best yet. Paul is friendly and accommodating. What an amazing place with lots of opportunities to walk, cycle, relax and enjoy all that beauty that nature has to offer. This place just surpassed all of our expectations. We felt like we were in a luxury villa in the middle of nature and the city of Nijmegen just a stone’s throw distance away and right out of the door there are beautiful hike opportunities. The boat is cosy equipped cause of all the open floor connections. The Sunday morning we chilled out in the sun on the floating terrace, watching all the birds come and go and see the cows and horses graze. Spending the morning on the terrace made us feel so relax, like we never wanted to leave this place anymore. Just wonderful! Klaartje was very friendly, helpful and gave lots of tips about things to do and visit. She advised us to visit the city of Nijmegen, which is only 30 minutes away (by bike), what a lovely typical Dutch city. We could use the two bikes from Bas en Klaartje to get there. Furthermore this place is clean and convenient cause of the bathtub, fire-place (outside as well as inside), dish washer and lounge area. We definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again.

Wat een waanzinnige plek! We sliepen er voor een huwelijk op locatie Doddendael maar komen hier zeker terug! Geweldige plek waar je helemaal in de natuur bent, we hebben heerlijk gezwommen en kwamen in de ruime en zeer schone villa helemaal tot rust! Klaartje ontving ons zeer vriendelijk en gaf goede tips voor de omgeving. Kunnen hier kort over zijn: aanrader!

Paul is nice guy, who knows how to handle every problem

I loved my stay with Paul and Max! From the beginning I felt very welcome and didn't feel out of place or like I was inconviencing anything. I had a nice comfy bed and Paul even kept them clean for me throughout my stay. When it was hot, Paul gave me a fan and I had a desk to do my homework on. I stayed there for a month and it went by very quickly. We shared nice meals and conversations with another guest he was hosting, who was also very pleasant to be around. I learned a lot during those conversations that got very long without me noticing the time. He let me use his tea, spices, vegetables he grows in his garden, eggs, etc. I was able to use his kitchen and to do all of my cooking, which you can imagine was a lot during my month stay. Oh and I can't forget his beautiful bathroom! I made full use of his tub and TV set up. I grew very fond of his sweet dog Max, I will miss them both. I wish you well :)

In one (URL HIDDEN) OR DIG !!! Paul is a host at heart .. wonderfully spontaneous, sociable and honest .. the house is fantastic and the bath after 40 km walk every day was another gift! Yet the cherry on the cake is really cooking .. what can this man a great cook! To each day to walk 40 km was a need that was transformed into a culinary experience .. really super! Overall, highly recommended so !!!

This was my first experience with airbnb, and I loved my stay with Paul and Max! From the very beginning I felt welcome, firstly Paul helped me carry up my luggage to the room. The room was very clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. Paul kept my bedsheets clean during my whole stay, and he also provided me with new washed towels, even when I didn't ask my self. My stay lasted for one month, but it went so fast (unfortunately). He let me use his fully equipped kitchen, spices, tea and the coffee maskin! Not to mention, Paul is a great cooker! I was lucky to taste some of his great dish. His bathroom? I made full use of his tub and TV set, while I could. We cannot forget Max, so calm and nice dog. I'm not used to have dogs around me, especially live with a dog at home. But Max was a great dog, getting home tired from work and the first one to meet you at the door is lovely maxi. I will miss Paul and Max. Again, thank you for a great stay! I could type for ever, but lets keep it "short". Wish you all the best, Paul and Max.

After finishing my studies, I found work in Nijmegen. Due to shortage on the housing market for starters, I chose to look for a room on Airbnb. So I ended up When Paul. This suited me very well, I received very friendly, the bed slept good, plenty of storage space and enough parking spaces. I sat with Paul about one month and I can not recommend this every starter.
