Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Outside you will find the private garden, with a shed for your bicycles. You can enjoy the peaceful surroundings on the terrace. A good base from which to explore the surrounding area. You are centrally located between the cozy and atmospheric towns of Alkmaar, Hoorn and Schagen. Within 20 km you are at the sea, but also at the IJsselmeer. Best by own wheels.

Hier slaap je letterlijk in de oude kaaskelder of onder de historische kaaszolder – plekken waar decennialang het rijke Twisker erfgoed werd gekoesterd. Nu getransformeerd tot twee luxe appartementen voor vier personen, ieder met een geheel eigen karakter.
