Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Our rural apartment 'de BolleWies' is suitable for max. 4 persons, has 2 bedrooms, a living room, bathroom, a separate kitchen and hall. Outside you will find the private garden, with a shed for your bicycles. You can enjoy the peaceful surroundings on the terrace. A good base from which to explore the surrounding area. You are centrally located between the cozy and atmospheric towns of Alkmaar, Hoorn and Schagen. Within 20 km you are at the sea, but also at the IJsselmeer. Best by own wheels.

Windmill close to Amsterdam!!

Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

B&B Wellness "De Bourgondische Lelie"

Our B&B is equipped with all modern facilities such as a modern kitchen, Philips Hue lighting, smart TV and Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxury Jacuzzi and wood stove. The B&B with large private garden and unobstructed view is completely shielded from the farmhouse by a fence and is only accessible to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you can look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast of your choice is optional.

Stap binnen in een uniek stukje Twisk: de volledig gerestaureerde Zuivelfabriek Rosita, waar verleden en toekomst elkaar in stijl ontmoeten. Hier slaap je letterlijk in de oude kaaskelder of onder de historische kaaszolder – plekken waar decennialang het rijke Twisker erfgoed werd gekoesterd. Nu getransformeerd tot twee luxe appartementen voor vier personen, ieder met een geheel eigen karakter.

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard are within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland, and there are no buses in the evening. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you must provide your own breakfast.
