This Commiezen house (customs office/earlier BORDER/TAX CONTROL Office) is one of the oldest houses at the mouth of the North Sea Canal. The house dates from 1875 and thus forms the basis of the later IJmuiden. With the largest sea lock in the world within walking distance and beach and fishing port within a radius of 1 km, this place is an ideal starting point for day trips. Haarlem (15 min.) and Amsterdam (30 min.) are also easily accessible. Public transportation - bus and train - are available as well as free parking.

Midden in de duinen van natuurpark Zuid-Kennemerland op 300m van het strand ligt dit ruime vakantiehuis met vrij uitzicht op zee. Warm jezelf op bij de houtkachel na een lange strandwandeling of geniet vanaf het terras aan de voorzijde van de ondergaande zon. Vanaf het balkon bij de slaapkamer zie je 's ochtends de zon opkomen boven het duinlandschap, waar ook vaak herten te zien zijn. Het huis is ruim, heeft 2.5 woonlagen en is van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is een gedeeld zwembad + sauna.

This beautiful family ship is fully equipped. There is a fully equipped kitchen, internet and toilet. There are 8 beds spread over a captain’s cabin, a room in the front and a fixed bunk bed next to the aisle. Showers are possible in the shower complex in the harbor, where 16 showers are available for you. You can also sail to Amsterdam and stay there for the night for example, or sail on the IJsselmeer or North Sea. We would like to tell you what is possible with our beautiful boat.

Birds won’t even notice you are there and will continue their song while you are preparing breakfast. Visit our partners at the beach or order your food online as the ÖÖD Suites do not have a kitchen. Betty's Garden Cottage

This venue is suited in a beautiful area. Nearbij the park, beach, dunes, Amsterdam and Haarlem. This is the perfect place for your visit to the Netherlands. Betty is natural therapist and Gert owns a 38 ft. sailing yacht, you can book for a tour on the IJsselmeer. We welcome you in our peaceful venue. The studio has a seperate entrance and is apart from and is apart the house. So you have your own place. The back terrace from Betty's garden is open for you.

Cosy family home, free parking!

This luxurious family house was restored in 2024. With 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. A large open kitchen and a cozy garden with a tv and a mini-fridge. It is also possible to add an extra baby bed. Just a 5 min walk to the trainstation to Amsterdam, This train will take you to Haarlem city in 10 minutes, and 25 minutes to Amsterdam. Also, if you want to go to the beach, its a 15 min drive to IJmuiden and if you take the train, you can be at Zandvoort in 25 min!

Welcome to our luxury Bed and Breakfast (Boutique Suite) located in a characteristic municipal monument from 1877 – the first bakery of IJmuiden. Here you literally sleep on historic ground, in the heart of the old shop where bread was once sold to the canal diggers of the North Sea Canal. Our B&B is located in the retail premises of this former bakery. The beautiful space includes a luxury bathroom with sauna and a private entrance.
