River's Edge - Private Suite

Our home is located in historic Louisa County in Central Virginia on a five-acre wooded lot facing the South Anna River. Richmond is 30 minutes away and Charlottesville is less than an hour. The entire lower level of our home is used for the Airbnb. (We live in the upper level.) The decor is "homey" with some personal items. Children, pets, and smoking are not allowed. The internet is fast and cell phones work with WiFi calling. Food deliveries are not available due to our remote location.

This is a wonderful location for exploring all of wine country, unwinding from the hustle of busy life, and then taking in the sunset in this quiet country setting with rolling hills as your backdrop!

The Hide-A-Way

Follow a long gravel driveway before you can view this comfortable house in the country. This house is 12 easy miles from the Town of Farmville and all it has to offer. Longwood University and Hampden-Sydney College is near by. Visit High Bridge State Park for hiking and Greenfront is a shopping destination. Lots of dining options will appeal to every taste and plenty of other activities to enjoy in this area. There is no phone-internet or satellite at The Hide-A-Way, Cell phones do work.

The Cottage on Bernard's Creek

Enjoy the whole house, 3 bedroom, plus junior suite, 2 bath home on 9 acres located on Bernard's Creek. This 2000 sq ft home has been tastefully furnished with updated amenities, and antique furnishings. Seven guests will look forward to experiencing this home that's located in a private setting yet less than 5 minutes to local restaurants and quick access to interstate 288. Guests love the screened porch for relaxing and dining, plus an outdoor fire pit for sunsets and evening gatherings.

You'll love this unique and romantic escape. Come and disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other in the Treehouse at Backabit Farm. You can enjoy the indoor fireplace or outside propane fire pit! Private deck for gazing at the stars or watching the wildlife. Two person hammock tucked under the trees! Inside you will find king bed with a view out of the three large windows, loveseat, tv, microwave, small fridge, coffee station and quaint bathroom with tiled shower.

Hidden Haven is just that! A 600 square foot romantic, private, peaceful, little haven. Hidden in the woods just 6 miles outside of the Town of Orange. Open the garage door in the living area and step out on the 300 square foot screened in porch where you can relax at the firepit under the covered roof. On the porch at Hidden Haven, we like to say, "time wasted is time well spent". The romantic vibe and modern amenities make it a prefect place for a couple's getaway.

"The Rosalie" at Clover Hill Farm

You will love the quiet of the farm and star filled nights The views from bed of the horses and hay fields invite you to adventure out. The lofted ceiling is open and airy while the dining/kitchen area on the lower level is cozy an intimate. The Rosalie has a private entrance, parking area and private deck. New Fast Internet makes this an all around best of both worlds connectivity and rural setting. I welcome like- minded guests to come relax and recharge.

Located at Mount Bernard Farm which is a 130+ acre historic river front property along scenic River Road West and the James River. Need more room? Pet-Friendly Country Farm House on Pond Farm stay hosted by Julie and Rick Bring your dogs. We have a huge fenced yard for them to play in. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet. We have 40 acres of fields and woods to help you relax a little. With over a mile of maintained trails you can take your pet for a long walk.  Have a corn hole match or barbecue and just relax. Wineries and breweries are nearby.
