House has a lot of charm in the heart of the peaceful village of Millevaches. Interior needs to be further maintained which would make the house more comfortable. However, we had a great stay. Nearby is the house of the Millevaches natural park where we were knowledgeable about what there is to do in the area in addition to the brochures made available in the accommodation. The mother of Mary was very accomodating about arrival and departure times.

The cottage is lovely in autumn too! The stove allows beautiful evenings back rides, and the kitchen is well equipped to cook small comfort food. The area is very quiet and altitude lowers the thermometer in this season but natural areas are rich in resources, either in scope or walking in the surrounding villages. The house of the Park remains open and offers advice and some local products for a gourmet taste. Relations with ease with the guests, the accommodation is welcoming and functional.

The whole experience was really enjoyable and relaxing; housing as the place has a unique charm and will delight those looking for a bit of authenticity. The cottage is faithful to what one expects, rustic and very charming (but beware, the heating stove may be insufficient if you are cautious as we !!). Aside from that this experience is really worth living. Mom Mary has expected us to our somewhat late arrival and explained everything to us with great kindness. The place is unique, beautiful landscapes and calm reigns everywhere. We will return with great pleasure.

Excellent stay with friends in this beautiful wooden chalet very welcoming !! The weather has spoiled us so the wood stove has not turned much but it was nice to have. The rooms are spacious, each of our girls had their space for their umbrellas beds !! The view from the cottage is just spectacular, the hiking trails start at the foot and guests had everything to not being bored, tourist documentation folder, IGN site etc. Thank you again and soon perhaps ... Spacious cottage very well equipped, very quiet with stunning views from the original porch. The stove allows diner warm in a cozy atmosphere. Thank you for fresh eggs well appreciated! Close to Meymac (15 min drive) nice town with small shops. Quiet without being too isolated! We will come back!

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans ce chalet très bien aménagé. L'accueil était très chaleureux. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les gentilles attentions : jeux pour les enfants, œufs frais et bois pour se réchauffer dans cette maison très bien isolée alors que la neige tombait dehors ! Un séjour en famille pour se ressourcer.

Elle dirige un centre équestre western dans les environs. Originaire de Boston, le petit-déjeuné américain qu'elle propose, à base de muffins et pancakes, est succulent.

A superb stay in the house of Blandine! Indeed, we have been fortunate to be greeted with a roaring fire and friendliness of our hosts. The room then went perfectly. A few kilometers from the village of Peyrelevade or shops (bakery, butcher, bar tobacco and a florist that sells local products) were welcome. The most basic things are available and the accommodation provides sufficient privacy and is close to nature. The bed sleeps fine. To shower you can use the bathroom in the adjoining house of Olivier, who is welcoming and friendly. To communicate with him you have to be able to speak a little French.
