LAFAYETTE STAND-ALONE COTTAGE HIDEAWAY

This is a charming stand alone cottage next to the main house with its own private entrance. You'll have access to an acre of garden which you are welcome to relax in. It has a full size fridge with a stackable washer dryer The property is 11 minutes from the Lafayette BART and 7 minutes from Walnut Creek town center by car. Briones Wildlife Park is less than a mile away. We have 4 cats and two small dogs. Pets are welcome but we ask for large dogs to be on leash. TESLA charging available.

Our typical guest has grandkids or children that live in our area, is in town for work or is traveling from just about anywhere in the world. Guests have said they like being close to SF at a very reasonable price. We're a family home so you can hear our family when we are in the kitchen. The Sweet Suite is behind our kitchen. Our kids have grown up doing Airbnb so they work to be as quiet as they can when guests are in the Sweet Suite. There is no doubt you will hear us at some point.

San Francisco is a 25 minute train ride and when there is no traffic a quick 30 minute drive to downtown SF (with traffic add another 15-20 minutes). CAL or St. Mary's College bound? We are about 15-20 minutes away.

A 450 sqft charming studio with all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable. Close to many locations ( restaurants and stores within a mile, BART a mile away), yet secluded enough in a suburban setting surrounded by Oak trees and our backyard creek. We pride ourselves in keeping the studio pristine. The kitchenette has a common wall with our home, but the cinder block construction results in a quiet and private experience.
