Our "cottage" is located right on the edge of the forest behind our house, as part of an old mill yard! We are 1 kilometer away from the neighbors and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometers away. It is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! Our apartment is comfortably and modernly furnished. It is located in the center of the Moselle castles, 20 km from Cochem and 30 km from Koblenz. The spacious terrace can be reached via the living room and one of the bedrooms. From here you can enjoy a great view of Bischofstein Castle, the Moselle and the passing ships with a good glass of Moselle wine. The Moselle foothills with a large sunbathing lawn are right at your doorstep, so to speak, and also invite you to relax.

Visit the wine-growing villages of Treis-Karden or Winningen on the Moselle and hike on the Traumpfaden and the Moselsteig. Start excursions to the World Heritage Site Middle Rhine Valley, Trier, Cologne, Bonn and Frankfurt.

Our beautiful, almost 250-year-old house offers you everything you need to relax in the middle of nature or spend time with family and friends. The large garden invites you to linger in good weather and thanks to the wood-burning stove and sauna you can also make yourself comfortable on rainy days. The house is surrounded by the fields and forests of the Hunsrück, the Moselle can be reached in a few minutes by car.
