I had a great experience staying here for a wedding I was attending in Greeneville. It was only about 20 minutes away, and for the price, it was incredible. Colleen and Douglas accepted my reservation request the day of, and accommodated our 12:30 AM arrival time. I appreciated that so much! Douglas gave my wedding date and I the tour. He welcomed us with kindness and eggs from their farm. (They were a delicious after midnight snack.) This RV much more spacious than renting a room in a hotel— with a lot more privacy. The master has plenty of space, the kitchen has all you need, and the living room is cozy and perfect for lounging. (The only downside was that the bathroom door didn’t close all the way and we couldn’t lock it.) I would’ve liked to have been able to do that, but that’s an easy fix, so I still believe the place deserves 5 stars. It snowed while we were visiting, and the scenery was ABSOLUTELY beautiful! It’s truly breathtaking, so if you can plan on visiting when snow is in the forecast, DO IT! I also loved that I was able to bring my little Morkie pup, Kip. He LOVED running around and playing in the snow. He was relaxed and comfortable and felt right at home. If we had any questions, we just used the app to message and Douglas and Colleen responded in a timely manner. They even allowed us to extend our stay by a night! I was beyond grateful, so we visited Old Oak Taproom (Colleen’s suggestion) that evening. We had a relaxing time there after eating a great dinner at The Salsas Restaurant. We also ate food at a little joint in a gas station called Critter’s Corner— twice! We loved it. It’s no fine-dining place, but head over to Yelp to check out the reviews and see the vibe. Give it a chance. You won’t regret it. Breakfast AND lunch were both enjoyable. Overall, our stay was wonderful. If you want a glamping (glamour camping) vibe head here! You’ll have all the luxuries of a hotel with a great deal more privacy and space. Your view will be unsurpassed, and if you have a little pup, your furry friend is welcome! I had a great weekend, and if I ever head back to the area, Douglas and Colleen will hear from me again!

I gave the location a five due to fact that a ten isn’t available. Getting up and watching the sun rise across the mountains was amazing. We had a wonderful time. Great host.

Stayed here with my three kids for the weekend and it was hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences we have ever shared together. Let's start with the awesome outfitted camper that has all the luxuries of home, wonderful picture windows (sits on a ridge with amazing views) and relaxing deck. The hosts were not only quick to respond and assist but where so very nice and friendly (onsite but you wouldn't know it) The farm setting was picturesque with chickens and ducks keeping us company along with Hank the cutest puppy ever. Shopping is only five minutes away. To top it off, the walk we took along the quiet country road past the cows, goats (they love apples) and albino deer was memorable and actually reconnected me with my teenage daughter. Do yourself a favor and book Douglas's place if for no other reason than to see the beautiful sunrise over the Appalachian mountains way off in the distance.

Thge Douglas's place is perfect, it has a feeling of being at home. It was decorated with fall accents and was very clean. We arrived late and had no issues finding the place or getting in. We had fresh eggs everyday from their chickens and Colleen made us blueberry muffins. Couldn't ask for better hospitality then that. They were both very friendly and gave me any info I asked about. Hank the puppy was so cute, can't wait to see him grow up. We chickens and ducks around every day, which I loved. The views were spectacular and right now the fall colors were popping. We were extremely happy with our space and our stay. I recommend their place to anyone, that doesn't mind rolling hills, farm land, and a few chicken and ducks visiting you daily. Sitting on the porch every morning drinking coffee was perfect. Come visit them, you'll love it. 💜

Far better than expected. The RV itself is very spacious, clean and modern. The place has an amazing view of the mountains. What I like the most about this place are the magnificent sun sets. We where treated like part of the family from the fist moment I met this amazing family. I recommend this place to families who want to relax in a quiet and peaceful place.

Very nice getaway located off beaten path,,has all amenities u could ask for!! Just bring your clothes and food and everything else is taken care of....nice and quiet....very clean...def be back again!!

This is a very nice place to stay and is very secluded and has a very country living feel. Gene and Bunny couldn't have been nicer and were extremely helpful with everything, and answered any question that I had. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is it. The catch and release stocked pond was a surprise, along with learning how to feed the catfish. I would definitely recommend staying here.

My girlfriend and I had such a great time. The cabin is beautiful and really makes you feel at home while deep in the Tennessee mountains. The owners were quick to respond but let us have our privacy. Everything you need for the first night was provided to us. We will definitely be coming back. Anyone who’s looking to stay at this cabin couldn’t go wrong!

THIS PLACE IS A GEM! Nestled in the mountains of the great state of Tennessee is a little cabin that feels like home! If you love to be in nature, away from the city, this place is for you. Gene and Bunny are exceptional hosts that go the extra mile. They made us feel like family. Directions to the cabin were perfect. We knew we were in the right spot when we were greeted by lights all over the cabin, parking, and walkway. That helped so much since we got there after dark. The two ponds are so gorgeous and we even had 3 deer greet us in the driveway. When we walked in the cabin, they had homemade cupcakes and a candle waiting for me since it was my birthday. The kitchen is stocked full of everything you need, even a basket of snacks, drinks in the fridge, and coffee in the cabinet! The whole cabin was so clean and tidy...nothing was out of place and we had plenty of towels, wash clothes, etc. In the bathroom, they have a basket of shampoos, soaps, lotions, toothpaste, etc., in case you forget something. There is a perfect sized grill on the porch that we took advantage of as well as plenty of rocking chairs. While you are there, plug in the string of lights on the porch on the far right side...perfect touch! This is a gem and we WILL be back. Thank you, Gene & Bunny!

Excellent stay! Bunny's place exceeded my expectations by a mile! Very clean, very comfortable beds and furniture. The cabin exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a really nice place to relax, tucked back in the woods but a short drive to places to see and go, this is the best option for you. I will definitely be back!

Perfect stay if you're wanting a farm stay with great hosts, friendly animals, and peaceful scenery. My girlfriend and I stayed here over the weekend and were able to relax and enjoy the company of all the animals! Would definitely recommend if you're wanting to spend time relaxing in addition to travelling to/from Asheville as the drive makes it worth it.

Clean and cozy. Well insulated so I was never cold despite the 30 degree weather outside.

This was a WONDERFUL camping experience!! When we arrived, the whole site was set up for us- tent with cots, chairs around the fire pit, a camp sink and stove, picnic table and work table, plus a tub with every cooking implement to make a campfire dinner :) All we had to do was show up with our cooler and sleeping bags! The property is so beautiful- right next to the French Broad River, with a pretty farm next door. There is also an artesian spring on the propriety. The kids and I had a great time exploring and fishing! Lisa and Paul are great hosts! My car battery died and they even gave us a jump. Highly recommend!!

This is a beautiful property with more space & privacy than most campgrounds (not a bad camping spot anywhere). We had a nice big fire ring and the sound of the river was so relaxing. Lisa and Paul were gracious, friendly hosts. We'll definitely return!

Such a beautiful place to stay. You have the river right outside your tent, you’re very secluded, and plenty of space to roam. There are great hiking spots nearby and you feel very welcomed as soon as you arrive.

We had a wonderful time! The campsite is beautiful, the tent was great, and the hosts were lovely. It was so nice not to have to deal with setting up/breaking down camp but still have a great camping experience. Had a lovely stay.

This is great place! We really enjoyed our time at #9 "The Sweet Spot" and it was an added bonus that everything was there and set up. The camp sites are private and peaceful. The best part was the access to the river right off the campsite we really enjoyed being able to float in the river whenever we wanted. I do recommend bringing tubes & water shoes. This is truly a gem with all the different spots on the property from the river, the cold spring , the stars at night, the train and the old limestone mine. If you are feeling so inclined Hot Springs is a great little town with a coffee shop/ice cream shop, bars/restaurants just a few minutes away. I would also suggest checking out Laurel River trail, an easy walking trail to a local spot to hang out in the water. We look forward to coming back next year.

This is camping as it should be - quiet, peaceful, relaxing. At Laughing Waters, one can truly unplug and be present in the beautiful setting of the mountains and the French Broad River flowing right by your campsite. Star gazing is amazing due to no light pollution. The fireflies put on quite a show whlle we were there over Memorial Day weekend. Camp sites are spaced far apart, so you have privacy and breathing room. The hosts were very gracious and helpful - they have ample camping supplies and can provide anything you may need. I am thankful they are willing to share such a beautiful place with others who want to experience nature in such a pastoral setting. Will definitely go back!

I wasn’t personally able to experience this space. Lisa was very accommodating to the change of plans. My brother said wonderful things about the campsite and Hot Springs.

The sweet spot was exactly as described. We thoroughly enjoyed camping here! Very private but hosts provide everything you need. Look forward to staying here again on our next time in NC!

Cabin #4 is perfect for a relaxing get away.

This cabin is the perfect location for a romantic getaway or for anyone just looking for peace and tranquility. The cabin is close to hiking trails as well as a few minutes away from Hot Springs which has a couple of restaurants, spas and shops. Not touristy or crowded at all. Unfortunately the hot springs were closed due to recent flooding but the hot tub at the cabin was a wonderful back up! The cabin is rustic but extremely clean also. We would highly recommend to couples!

This was a fantastic weekend getaway! My GF and I came here for a weekend anniversary retreat and we were thoroughly impressed. The views from cabin #4 were breathtaking and the hot tub in the evening under the stars was mesmerizing. I highly recommend the Tree House cabins to anyone looking for a nice mountain stay. Hot springs has a few restaurants/bars/pubs and Asheville is only a short 40 min drive from town. Check out South Slop in Asheville to check out some of the local breweries! We’re already planning our next trip back in the fall.

This was truly out of another world. This was my 1st Airbnb so I was completely blown away. Being outdoors with the kids was just what we needed. Our kids enjoyed the outdoor amenities and learning how to build a fire, there was so much to do and see we just didn’t have enough time to do it in a weekend. We are new to camping and have young ones so this was a great place to get our feet wet.

Easily the most unique and encouraging experience I’ve ever enjoyed through AirBnB. Lee is a treasure of a host and she’s so kindly shared her Appalachian loot with the rest of us. Everything from the romantic glass house, nostalgic retrofitted school bus, and quaint pond-side master suite, to the campy lounge, rustic fire pit, and essential (not to mention fully stocked) storage shed, was sparkling with a signature hospitality. If you’re ever anywhere close to the area (seriously, I’m talking max 2 hours here) I know you’ll find the trip over the mountain to Lee’s Sweet Retreat as rewarding and memorable as the colors of autumn themselves.

Expectations? You should be able to tell from the listed pictures if this is your kind of place or not. If your imagination is tickled, then you should go. It will be what you make of it, what you dream it to be. Lee sets the stage. You take it from there!! I, for one, would love to journey to Lee's Sweet Retreat regularly.

There would never be enough words for me to adequately describe our experience at this oasis of pure magic. Details, details, details..whimsical ones at that. My husband and 3 kids enjoyed this space so incredibly much.. my children actually ASKED to go to bed so that they could sleep in the school bus! It was just beautiful to lounge around all day, watching the kids run across acres of grass and wildflowers..to be off the grid with no other option except enjoying each other’s presence..unplugged. There are so many fun things to find on this property, so explore your heart out!! We left once only to buy more eggs..but there is absolutely no reason to leave while you are here! It is a natural, whimsical wonderland and we were so terribly sad to leave. If you choose to stay at Lee’s Sweet Retreat, I hope you are able to relax as wonderfully as we did as well as truly appreciate all of the wonderful details she has put into it. Thanks again Lee! We will be returning!!

Lee’s place is wonderful. In the full meaning of the word. If you come here, please remember that this is glamorous camping. With all you would expect with camping, but comfortable and lux. The outhouses are the cleanest and the have best touches that I have ever seen. The bath house is a pleasure, the cabins beautiful and comfortable, and so much privacy! I kept remembering the movie Swiss Family Robinson. There is a pleasure finding every hidden nook and cranny! If you are here on a Sunday, there is a great church of Christ only 15 min away! We will definitely stay again! Thank you Lee!!!

Linda is an incredible host and the cabin is one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in! Fully delivered on comfort and gorgeous views. It was helpful to know that the cabin uses well water which has a slightly sulfuric smell but isn’t harmful at all. Beth's place was exactly as described! I appreciated her transparency in the listing and throughout our communication. The biggest note I saw in the reviews was the drive so I'd like to touch on that. I drive a 2014 Kia Soul and had 0 issues getting there. The drive to the cabin is gravel and is best navigated during daylight hours. However, it was a part of the adventure for us and we made it just fine at night with downloaded pictures of the directions and a positive attitude. This is the best getaway for people wanting to go off grid and enjoy nature. We rafted at NOC on the French Broad (a 15 min drive) with the best raft guide, Perry and had the time of our lives. We also visited Farmony animal rescue (10 mins from NOC) that was an unforgettable experience getting to interact with all different kinds of animals! The drive to Hot Springs and Asheville isn't bad at all either! Last thing, make sure to stop at the Laurel River Store and get a coffee (their Chai Tea Latte is great!). We are still reminiscing and planning our next getaway here!

The place was very peaceful and relaxing even with the road so close by. While we didnt have any luck trout fishing in the stream, we still enjoyed trying and the sound of it at night. The place was equipped with all the things you would need for a weekend including condiments and eggs in the fridge, shampoo and toiletries, which was a pleasant surprise. This place is priced at an amazing deal for what all is included and its location. I would definitely like to stay here again sometime.

Great little cabin for a weekend getaway on the mountainside and river!

The Stargazing Hut is amazing! A wonderfully unique place that is so comfortable and has everything you need for an advanced glamping experience. I stayed there with my 2 year old and 5 year old and we loved it! We enjoyed playing games in the hut, walking around the beautiful woods, visiting the animals, and using the outhouse! The best thing was laying in the bed and looking at the sky-even though it was cloudy the night we stayed it was still really cool to see the night sky and the trees. In the morning it was so relaxing and beautiful to watch the sunrise and then lay and watch the clouds float by. The propane stove was easy to use and the fresh eggs were delicious for breakfast! The propane heater and abundance of blankets kept us nice and warm on the cool March night. We would love to come stay again!

I have no complaints about this place! The hut and property are amazing. It was a great place to disconnect and be in nature! Mitch was a great host & made sure we had everything we needed. I loved being able to lay in bed and watch the sky & to shower under the stars ✨ highly recommended

LOVED STAYING HERE!!!! 10/10 would come back. Mitch is super nice and extremely helpful. He had a bonfire ready for us when we arrived. The instructions on how to arrive were very easy to understand. The hut was AMAZING!!!!!! Super clean!!!Loved the cute decorations all over. We got rained in one day and it was the best experience. Mitch has games and activities in the hut and the clear hut make its an awesome experience. And there was the sweetest cat that came to visit throughout our stay. Definitely coming back!!

This was an awesome “Glamping” experience. My husband and I came here for the week of New Years, just to get away and enjoy some time together. We loved how friendly and welcoming Mitch was, and the unique experience we had at Hilltop Hut. We loved feeling sort of “off the grid” and being out in nature a little bit. We made camp fires at night and cooked breakfast on the propane stove top! It was a very pleasant and quaint experience. There was only a small amount of noise from the road nearby, but overall this is the place to go if you want to enjoy some time away from the busyness of life!

Such a great experience! We loved everything from the fire pit to the farm fresh eggs and seeing the sheep/chicken/goats. The tent was very warm and we went in December! I have already recommended this spot to many close friends and family!

I love this cabin and can’t wait to come back! The views and the garden were so charming. Natalie was an excellent host and the bed was super comfortable. Hot springs is a great little town to explore and the cabin feels secluded while still being able to walk to town.

The cabin was in a perfect quiet spot in Hot Springs, so we could get everywhere easily. It was super clean and the hot tub was powerful and a wonderful way to warm up after being outside hiking or walking on the chilly winter days while we were there. We look forward to coming back in spring or summer so we can take advantage of the deck and all the plants around the cabin!

From the jacuzzi tub beside the bed to the amazing location, Chickadee was the perfect place for a mini vacation. The only thing I would change is for there to be a little hot plate in the kitchenette.

We came to Whimsy Ridge for an unexpected trip, and Nicole had everything ready for us. She made everything super easy, and we loved the country setting.

Whimsy Ridge is a sweet little getaway home with a “weekend at Grandma’s” vintage vibe. Nicole is a wonderful hostess providing a clean, well-equipped house with special treats. She is attentive and quick to respond to any questions or needs.

Hard to pick what was my favorite thing about this place! Let's start with the kitchen range... literally a dream for anyone who enjoys cooking. The shower was AMAZING, it felt incredible after a few days on the road. We spent a few hours in the living room playing some of their board games, awesome selection!!

We were looking for a peaceful weekend away and that's exactly what we found. Mitch is there for anything you need, but you have plenty of privacy, aside from the chickens and sweet kitten that came to greet us every day. We also met the dogs, sheep, and an 11 day old goat named Gus. The farm fresh eggs for breakfast each morning was my favorite touch. We visited in mid-March but between the fireplace, heater, and electric blanket, we were very comfortable. The roosters will make sure you don't sleep in, but the hut was inviting, clean, and cozy. We'll be back!

The perfect getaway in the trees. We loved the unique space and blend of decorating styles. Everything was super clean. We had a great time exploring the property with our dogs. Mitch is a great host; friendly and easy to get a hold of. They have really thought of everything you would need for a perfect glamping experience.

This is place for people who want to camp but without bringing in and setting up their tent. It is very entertaining for kids as there are animals such as sheep, chicken etc. Stars are amazing because it is outside of town of Newport and you can lie down and see them through the transparent roof. Well thought off. there is little stove, kitchenware, Overall it is a fun place to stay. Mitch is a very pleasant host ready to help.

Honestly most people don't stay at an AirBNB for a second stay. That's the beauty of AirBNB, every stay is a new adventure. The cabin is an exception to this.... This is our second stay at the cabin and will not be our last. It is cozy and comfortable and super clean. I was get a good run in on the back roads that surround the cabin and the amazing scenery that you can enjoy just sitting on the porch makes this worth coming back too. We will be back again. It also helps that Jason is a great host!

If you're into rustic comfort in a well-renovated historic cabin away from hubbub of traffic and civilization (but just a few miles away from town) and close to the Appalachian Trail, this place is it! Imagine sitting in an old wicker rocker on a shaded porch with morning coffee and gazing across rolling pastures, a treelined stream, and distant mountains.

BOOK THIS PLACE! One of the most scenic trips I’ve taken in quite some time, the cabin fits perfectly in this adorable picturesque town. It was very easy to find with gps and helpful tips from Jason. The place was sparking clean despite having arrived a few hours after previous guests. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine in the fridge to unwind from the trip, and all the helpful information was located right on the kitchen table. Drinking the fresh coffee on the porch in the morning was super relaxing and the perfect way to start the day before checking out the town or awesome hiking spots. Don’t be put off by the wood stove, that thing is serious. The cabin is very well insulated and stayed very warm the entire trip, even in the upstairs slept comfortably without the need for extra blankets or heaters. There are also step by step instructions on how to start your fire if you’re not familiar with the concept. It had every comfort of home. I can not wait to book my next trip with Jason!

We were in town for 2 nights for a wedding and wished we could've stayed longer. Jason's cabin was so so cozy and comfortable, excellent value for the price. Everything was as listed, and most importantly, clean! We especially enjoyed the claw foot tub and sitting on the front porch watching the cows. The bottle of wine and coffee was a sweet touch. What an awesome place! Rustic and charming. We loved the location and local recommendations. Our timing was impeccable because the mornings were cool and sitting on the front porch enjoying the view and neighbor cows while drinking coffee is my idea of perfect. 1. Exceptionally clean. Probably the cleanest we’ve been to. Will stay again if we visit the area in the future. 2. The stairs going to the second floor are not toddler safe, but the is a bed on the first floor if you have kids. 3. No A/C, but we were there in September and stayed cool enough. In fact, my wife still used the blankets at night. 4. When you pull out of the driveway, be careful not to cut too sharp to the right. There’s a culvert there that would be hard on your vehicle if you dropped a wheel in it. 5. Ever heard of the app “Marco Polo”? My wife, who loves history, sent several videos out to family and friends. The house totally reminded me of my great aunts home back in the 60’s. I explained how I thought it started as a one room cabin, and the kitchen/second floor were add ons. (Remember, it’s a century old and probably a simple, common country residence for the area.) My wife did say, and I quote, “well, they did a good job remodeling it.”

Jason does a great job . He answered every question I had within minutes of asking. He really thought of everything to make it a peaceful , enjoyable experience. The views are amazing from the front porch. Jason does a great job of directing to hiking trails and local attractions. Close to shopping and restaurants. Super clean . Kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals right there . Everything needed to stay in or go out! Loved all the thoughtful little touches. Frustration free experience. Highly recommended.

I grew up in NE TN and Cathie’s home was like going back to my family home all those years ago. The house itself envelopes its visitors in welcome coziness. Cathie is an endearing hostess who has thought of her guests’ every need and is quickly available should you need her. It goes without saying that her home is spotless, that the beds are comfortable, and the towels are soft. What else could one expect from such a place? I think that my very favorite thing about Cathie’s home was the delicate music of the wind chimes that serenaded us just outside our window. I fell asleep to their sweet lullaby.

We absolutely love staying at The Davis Home!! It had everything we wanted and more!!! Cathie was a superb host!!!

Cozy place

Tonette was a gracious host. She welcomed us when we arrived a little early and let us in. We had a late addition to the number of people staying during our stay and she was very helpful. We loved walking the trails on her property and the horses. If we are ever going to travel to the area again we will defiantly check for openings with Tonette first.

I can’t say enough good things about Tonette’s place. It was so much better than we expected. Quiet, peaceful, clean, and cozy. It’s in the middle of nowhere with only a small Dollar General and one restaurant within ten minutes’ driving distance, so if you want a quiet getaway in the country, this is the perfect place! There is a town twenty minutes south with more stuff in it. It’s a very old house, but everything works perfectly and it’s been well taken care of! We felt at home as soon as we walked in. We didn’t have cell service, but the WiFi was strong. The photos don’t do it justice. Don’t hesitate to book a stay here. It was wonderful. 10/10! We’re already planning our next visit!

If you love nature this is perfect also that it is pet friendly with no annoying crazy high hidden fees just awesome. Super nice people, beautiful cozy stay, will definitely come back.

Great value.. nice secluded setting

Enjoy a quiet relaxing time in this old cute remolded 2 bedroom cottage. The bathtub is gigantic! Bring a pair of loafers to keep your toesies warm as you roam around the inside of the house. It’s just a relaxing place to go!

We had a wonderful weekend, we loved the house, the trails and the horses. Tony is a awesome host.

This place is a perfect romantic getaway! Tonette was great at communication. The place was very clean and well stocked with lots of thoughtful touches. The porch was great to relax on with an amazing sunrise view. I only wish we had more time to stay! We will return again if in the area for sure.

First, I must say the Host Denise is extremely kind, knowledgeable of the area (recommended some amazing places) and truly an amazing host (the Wifi kicked off about 7am on a Sunday - I sent an email and she responded almost immediately and had it fixed just as fast). The communication was fast and accurate and easy check-in. The space is basically an efficiency apartment with a very comfy bed!! The kitchen is separate from the bedroom and a small quaint bathroom. The kitchen has the essentials needed if you want to make your own meals. This is perfect for a traveling Nurse or others who are needing extended stay accommodations. The price is excellent for what you get and it has a laundry room across the hall, which was very convenient. Also, there is the yummy Rustic Cow coffee and ice cream parlor downstairs!!!! The location is excellant because there are several restaurants within walking distance and a Walgreen you can walk to as well. Minutes from Interstate 40. Denise and her husband are very friendly people and I highly recommend their Airbnb, I will book again when I return and hope for a longer stay.

Denise’s apartment was great! It was a little bit smaller than I was expecting, but it was clean and comfortable. It made a great place to stay on a little day trip from Nashville to that area. I’ll certainly consider staying with her again if we choose to visit again!

They are excellent hosts! Much better than I even hoped! Such a sweet, kind, and smart couple. I loved learning about their lives and exploring their farm. Carolyn, unprompted, even taught us how to spin llama wool on a spinning wheel! She is so patient. A baby llama was born when I was there and they let me watch. They are so great and kind to the animals. A must stay!!!

Jerry and Carolyn are wonderful hosts! The place is beautiful and felt like home. We didn't get a chance to do the experiences offered, the art class and nature hike but hopefully will have more time on our next visit. The llamas and all the animals were so much fun to watch. This is definitely a memorable place to stay!

This was a wonderful experience for my family. Jerry and Carolyn are just the perfect hosts. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They have a darling little dog named “Rusty” and I can’t say enough about the beautiful property or the whole Llama experience!!! We went inside the fence with several of them and they are so tame, sweet, curious, incredible animals. They also had lots of other cool animals.... We were celebrating my husbands 50th birthday with a surprise trip to the NASCAR race at Bristol (which I highly recommend EVEN if you are not a racing fan....what an awesome time....it is only one weekend of the year though) ... Anyway, this was a beautiful drive and not to far from the track (maybe 40 minutes or less even) This is a great place to stay and it will be even better when they open up their other building for a more private lodge. Carolyn layed out a really yummy display of breakfast items and had coffee available for us (which I wasn’t even expecting) and I thought it was such a nice touch. It was Just a really cool experience. Be prepared to take a lot of pictures on their little slice of heaven and don’t forget to check out their little gift shop with handmade Llama things.

Beautiful views, awesome common spaces which encourage community. Very much enjoyed hiking, bonfires, cooking, the views, and authentic conversations. What a good break from the stressful corporate world. Recommend!

This property was absolutely gorgeous! This was my husband and I’s first glamping experience, as we normally do mainly backpacking when we go to Appalachia. Every detail on this property was well thought out, from heated floors In the bathroom, to candles in the cabins, to helpful hiking instructions. We both must say, we loved this glamping experience and plan to tell our friends about this place and intend to come back ourselves. The best part- it was especially nice to disconnect and be in nature on sacred, beautiful land. The owners were very nice, helpful, and kind to us as well. We appreciate you letting us share your space with us and our pups.

This was probably our favorite Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at! Are already making our way back today unexpectedly after only staying there a week ago because we liked it so much.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time. Paint Rock Farms is a little piece of paradise!

The location is beautiful. The cabins and bathhouses were spotless! It was a wonderful place to get away from the busyness of life and enjoy God's creation.

Gorgeous property! Be aware that the cabins are like screened-in porches. (From the photos, I thought it was glass.) The cabins themselves also have no electricity, though there are lots of outlets in the beautiful barn. Also, there aren't individual firepits or picnic tables at each cabin like we imagined. All that said, it was an incredible stay and we loved it!

Lynn's place is absolutely beautiful. You are surrounded by nature and can see the stars at night. Everything is quiet and peaceful. Lynn and the other workers on the farm were all extremely kind and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We originally planned to stay one night but had to add an extra night because we didnt want to leave! Stay here and you'll have a wonderful, relaxing time under the stars.

This place was beautiful! There was so much room to spread out and pitch a tent. The property was beautiful and right along the mountains. Very flexible with set up and check in. The bathhouse was super clean! I really enjoyed my stay and wish I couldve stayed longer. thank you again!

A.J. was an excellent host. We loved our stay at this campsite. Everybody was super friendly and helpful. They gave us directions to arrive and leave the area that went around the hills and dirt roads. The campsite was very peaceful. There was a site for trailers and a site for tent camping. There was also a bathhouse near the campsites with showers. Lots of animals on the site too. There were horses in a stable and some very friendly cats that wandered around. A.J. also had maps that showed how to get to each campsite to make navigating the land super easy.

My second time staying there. I honestly cant say enough about the place. Beautiful. Clean. Comfortable. Quiet. Little peace of heaven.

Treehouse #3 was adorable! It was clean and modern and very cozy. The back porch had amazing views and a sparkling clean hot tub. My husband and I stayed for the weekend for our anniversary and it was perfect for a quick, relaxing getaway. The town of Hot Spring is quaint and charming, too!

Jennifer was very accommodating in helping book our last minute stay at the cabin. The cabin is very lovely, relaxing and a great getaway.

A gorgeous cabin with beautiful views. Perfectly cozy and meant for that special getaway.

The place was great! The place could benefit from a sofa or loveseat instead of the pod chairs (no cuddling in those out of fear of ending up on the floor in a pile of broken chair parts) and the porch swing is a one person chair too (another missed cuddle opportunity). Other than that, great place! Bring a fan, the bed allows for 0% air flow 🥵

Wonderful cabin! Just the right size for a couple's getaway! The views were great and the cabin was exactly like the photos. Completely in love and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a cozy cabin. Jennifer was very helpful in relaying all the necessary details for the stay. Best vacation!

Great secluded spot! Dogs loved being able to roam and definitely had enough room to do so. Great view on top of the hill. The bed is only a full size so it can be a little cramped but otherwise the cabin itself is a great size for two people. The hot tub on the balcony is amazing. Generally was a clean cabin with plenty of parking out front.

Always a great place to stay I’ve been here several times in the past couple of months and have had no problems. Her place is very clean, very quiet. I have enjoyed my stays at Bonnies and made a few new friends there along the way.

I’ve stayed here off and on for the better part of a month now. Her place is outstandingly clean and has things to do within driving distance. Every week I have been here I’ve met new fun loving people to be around this is definitely one of my favorite places I’ve have stayed.

Natalie’s place is super clean and cozy! I loved that the shower and bathroom were separate, it really helped with our large group. The cabin is located in a great spot right next to the Appalachian trail and walkable to downtown hot springs. We had a great time in the downtown area! We also walked through downtown all the way to the lovers leap trail, it was beautiful :). The beds were comfy and clean, and the host was there to answer any questions we had right away. It’s also nice that it is dog friendly. The wifi didn’t always have a strong signal, but there were also seven of us staying there. If you do have a big group coming there is no hang out area besides the deck and dining room table that only hold 4 people at a time. But, I had brought a folding memory foam mattress that converts to a couch and we put it in the bedroom with the double and single bed and used it as a living area when we wanted to hang and it was fun! So I recommend bringing some bean bags or something and doing that if you want to spend some time together in the cabin and you have more than 4 people staying. Also, there is only a mini fridge and it doesn’t hold much, luckily it was cold enough outside to keep some stuff in our trunk while we were there. We really enjoyed our stay and loved that it was doggo friendly, so clean and cozy, and close to town! Thanks Natalie!

Natalie’s place is wonderful. We stayed during the winter and we needed the baseboard heat and the heat from the extra room. The doors being open helped heat the rest of the cabin. Loved Artisun, the local library, hiking Lover’s Leap and exploring the town. We also headed to Asheville for a little fun as well!

What a great place! In addition to the cabin being pristine and having everything you need for a comfy stay, you are literally a minute walk to a gorgeous section of the AT. Thank you Natalie and family! We hope to be back.

Cute place to be able to relax and unwind. Just steps to the AT where you can venture off for a day, or even walk through town and hike on the Lover's Leap Trail. This was just a few days of rest and relaxation for my husband and I, but had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves, fix a meal on the grill, play some board games and watch some movies. We did the Walking Town Tour and enjoyed learning the history of the area and meeting nice folks! You can't go wrong with the Iron Horse Saloon for a great meal either! We will be back when the hot springs are back in order for sure!
