Sandra (Eliza) was so warm and welcoming from the beginning, I was staying for more than 2 weeks for eye surgery and had a large suitcase that she helped me with from the train station and upstairs. She even drove me back to the house after the surgery and back to the clinic for a follow-up appointment. She is always interested in her guests and often has more than one. Her family is warm and friendly too, with a theatrical bent and love of the arts. I spent a few evenings just watching TV with the family and enjoyed sharing the drama of waiting for news of high school graduation exam results, and the relief and celebration of success. Lovely, peaceful green neighborhood with geese and ducks quacking along small canals. Nearest shops and a few small restaurants are a 15-20 min. walk, but you can bring some food back and there is a small refrigerator for guest use in the kitchen. I often bought nice ready-meals and salads in the local supermarket because I didn't go downtown every day. There is fast, free wi-fi too.

I had a lovely stay at Eliza's. She is a fantastic host and made me feel very welcome. The house is in a very beautiful residential area and easily reachable by metro. I would highly recommend staying with her!

Sandra Eliza has a very nice house and is a very good hostess. Bedroom, living room and bathroom were clean, the breakfast was tasty. As for the location, so it is very quiet on a tidal creek and easy to find from the motorway exit. Parking is available free of charge from the house. We recommend staying with her further hesitation! We thank Sandra Eliza for the nice weekend! We got breakfast and all rooms were tidy. The house is in a quiet quarter next to a small river. There is nothing wrong with this accodomodation.

Very good stay with Tineke, Tineke is a host highly available and responsive. She anticipated our arrival by sending an email a few days before. The stay was also very well, Tineke we had planned a few things to eat for breakfast, board games were available in the accommodation, the hosts are available and ready to give advice ... Housing is also ideally placed to visit the Netherlands for 40min in The Hague, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and next to Gouda. We recommend!

Fully separate house near the water, with kitchen and bathroom. Own parking not easy to drive in with a large car. Be prepared for village life: birds singing and ants looking around for food. Giorgina is a super-friendly and attentive. The house itself was very clean and corresponded to 100% of expectations / images. The situation around is very quiet and tidy, from the neighbors you get very little with. The layout of the rooms and their amenities were just great and left nothing to be desired. I can hire only recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay at Giorgina's place. It is very quite and to still close to visit Rotterdam. We unfortunately did not meet Giorgina as we arrived later, but the whole communication and information went smoothly and we had all we needed. The whole family enjoyed !

Beautiful home; wonderful setting; great access to Rotterdam centre (via Metro; no need to drive); peaceful surroundings. Giorgina is a great host - very welcoming - bonus of cat sitting (not obligatory!). We'd heartily recommend this property for a city break with away from it all options (very close to the lake beach).

Our family of three had a very nice stay at Giorgina's place. The house was very clean and specious. The location close to the water is very nice. From Giorgina's place it was easy to reach all the attractions.

Jacco and Joke are wonderful people! They are personally welcomed us into his home. Upon arrival we were in for a pleasant surprise - wine, Dutch waffles and a bouquet of flowers for the birthday of my wife. This service is available only in the world's best hotels. The house is very cozy and bright, filled with a variety of furnishings from around the world, one can see that Jacco and Joke invested in home improvement part of his soul. We were given advice on the best local sights, as well as quality restaurants, for which a special thank you to them. This house deserves the best advice. Thank you Jacco and Joke of the atmosphere of comfort and pleasant communication!

We highly recommend the Annex to this beautiful patrician house, furnished with taste and enjoying absolute silence at night. The bed is a royal comfort. This is anything but a "shack" (French translation error in the Dutch word "huisje = small house"). The old village of Moordrecht is typically hollandais.Très good advice in the welcome booklet on Qype surroundings. We loved the nearby town of Gouda and we recommend a visit to the garden center "Intuin" where you will find an incredible offer at prices significantly more attractive than in France.

We had wonderful days at this place. A beautifully decorated lounge and spacious bedroom. Jacco and Joke were very welcoming and had thought of everything. The weather was beautiful and we made full use of the beautiful garden with nice seating areas. Nice base for visiting Gouda for cycling trips in the area.

Me and my boyfriend spent a weekend at jackos home and we had a great time. It is a perfect cozy and lovely place for a couple. We felt very comfortable there. We would definetly go there a second time.

Moordrecht is a very picturesque Dutch village with all facilities one would expect in a city with very nice and helping people. We were lucky to choose this place - great getaway from a big city. Well located for travelling around, we managed to drive to 9 cities in Netherlands and Belgium in a week. Everything in the apartment is all new and well equipped, free parking in the street. Jacco and Joke are a pleasant couple well connected by phone or mail and always ready to help. We had a nice brochure prepared by hosts describing excellent tips from the locals for travelling/visiting/shopping - used it a lot.

Jacco was a fantastic host. We had a bit of an issue with our arrival timing but Jacco was really flexible about handling it and we ended up having no issues at all getting inside. The place was fantastic! It is beautiful just as shown in the pictures. Lots of big windows to let in light. It is a bit of an unusual layout though with the bedroom and open shower/basin on the ground floor and the living room/kitchen/dining nook on the floor above. The bathroom is actually a separate room adjoining the entryway. We didn't use it but there is a full size washer and dryer for clothes as well. Make sure you visit the back yard as well. The ferry system that is used instead of bridges is easily visible and they have so many play structures for kids! Located in a super quiet, residential neighborhood. Parking was no problem at all with lots of street parking available nearby. Relatively big Albert Hein grocery store nearby, bakery next door was perfect for breakfast. Recommendations for nearby shops and restaurants were perfectly organized. Easy driving distance to Kinderdijk and Keukenhof. Also downtown Rotterdam is just 10 minutes away. Gouda is even closer. Closing the gate and locking it was a bit difficult at first, but just pull/push on the gate a bit and the lock will slide.

We had an amazing time. Our stay was perfect, the house was perfect and our hosts were amazing. Just what we needed. Small and quiet town in driving distance of all the great cities.

Aloys and May have received me warmly. Aloys immediately made room for a parking lot. I needed shelter from a storm and decided to stay because the next day I worked again in Cappelle. While breakfast and dinner are not in it, Aloys was still a small breakfast and I got in the evening a little welcoming times. The room was nice and warm. The bathroom is spotless. They do their best for you.

May and her husband were both lovely people. Very welcoming, friendly and warm. The place was nice, very clean and had a great shower. I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this place to stay!

Fine transfer. Jan had a local contact on who could explain everything about the house. Location near the train station and within 25 minutes in the center of Rotterdam and Utrecht. Typical converted church with spacious modern family kitchen and bathrooms.

Fantastic location for families with children who appreciate the quietness of the nature and still very close to popular Dutch attractions. Owners are very friendly and if you have any questions or issues they help you immediately. The accommodation is big, clean and has all the equipment you need to feel in holiday; even a trampoline in the garden for children.

Very quiet setting, wonderful views of the Rotte, walking and cycling start right outside the door. For rainy days, there are a large indoor playground and a wellness center within walking distance. The managers are very friendly, helpful and approachable. The house is neatly organized and well equipped with all comforts. But taking them say it's less good public transport access.

We had a lovely night in the little house! What a fun and rest. Flexible check in and out are really nice, it came to us well because we had been earlier in Rotterdam because of a concert. Marlous gave us helpful tips on how to best take the subway to Ahoy and could go to the center. This is also very fine. We had a pleasant stay in their house, highly recommended! :) Mitchell & Basia

Andre and Marlous were really friendly and welcoming. Their house is really beautiful and peaceful area. In fact, the accommodation is just lovely in a separate outbuilding.

It is highly recommended to see rotterdam. It is relatively close to Capelle station which takes you to the center of Rotterdam. The house is beautiful. He gets to bed by a wooden staircase, and the views are unbeatable morning, we had breakfast in a typical garden walk from the canal.

A wonderful place to be for a few days. The cottage is very clean, spacious enough and nicely located on the canal. We were received very kindly by Marlous. We went biking, hiking and geocaching in Capelle and Krimpen aan de IJssel. For us a very different environment. You're from 'Bermbed' quick subway.
