Andrew was a great host. Allowed us to check in early and everything was ready for us. Quick tour of the house and told to help ourselves to various different things which was nice. Lovely quirky home.

Quirky and interesting lovely old house (with quirky and interesting old steep stairs to bathroom) right near Abbey, with warm welcome from Andrew. We stopped one night while walking the Severn way. Comfy bed, homey feel, and a fine pie recommendation for the Berkeley Arms down the road!! Note the room is on the main road and so there is traffic noise. Didn't bother us at all but it might some folk.

As soon as I arrived at Andrew's place I loved it. The house is truly ancient, and full of character. Every nook and cranny was interesting in its own way. Also loved that there were thousands of books in shelves which I was able to flick through by the fireplace. The place is in a great location, walking distance to everything in Tewkesbury Andrew himself was an excellent host, very accommodating and friendly, and able to spin a good yarn. He also took me to the nearby abbey, and was able to tell me about the place with a greater depth and breadth of knowledge than any tour guide. Would not hesitate to recommend staying at Andrew's for anyone who is looking to stay in Tewkesbury!

The location was great for exploring the Cotswolds and there was some lovely places to eat really close by! We would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay somewhere lovely that's close to the Cotswolds!

Chris's place is lovely. It's very spacious and well presented. The location was perfect for us being nice and secluded but also easy driving distance to local pubs (amazing food!) and scenic walks across the Malvern Hills. Communication with Chris was always quick and easy and we would highly recommend his place for any future visitors.

We spent one night at the shepards hut and wished we could have stayed longer. The hut was clean, warm and had everything you could need for a relaxing weekend. We didn't have much opportunity to explore the surrounding area because of the weather, but it was great being on a working farm. We would love to return in the summer and spend more time here. We would definately recommend this place for a relaxing weekend.

The hut is wonderful and has everything you could want! Everything is contained and you have great outside space, with a wood burner outside to enjoy the stars. I have not seen a shepherds hut with bathroom and kitchen before, as these are usually separate. The hut managed to still be spacious and is very warm, with great facilities. I would love to stay again in the future!

Brilliant place for a rural getaway for 2, with beautifully quiet and peaceful settings. Initially worried that it might be cold in the winter months however it was well heated and very cosy. Perfect for a couples getaway.

Pauline is a super host. She is very accommodating and helpful. The loft room and ensuite made a perfect retreat at the end of the day. The balcony view over the park is lovely! We had a very pleasant stay at Pauline's place. Her house is in a pleasant quiet road about 15 minutes from Cheltenham town centre. The accomodation is a large spacious room created by a loft conversion and was very comfortable and made for a very enjoyable stay. As hosts Pauline and her partner made us feel very welcome and I would have no hesitation in recommending her property as somewhere to stay.

the house was fantastic! and Mark was absolutely lovely. he came to check up on us and make sure everything was ok while we were there. The fireplace was great for a weekend inside from the cold. would absolutely recommend and stay again :)

if it's peace and quiet in a lovely country/farm environment you are looking for then this is the place. it was perfect for our family as we are all outdoors people. Mark suggested a walk and it was beautiful and scenic. Mark also set out a circular tour that takes you off the beaten track and you get to experience the real Cotswolds. This was fantastic. Thank you Mark for a memorable stay in a beautiful country cottage.

I went to Bothy cottage for the weekend with my partner and we would both extremely happy with the accommodation. The location is absolutely stunning and very quiet out in the countryside. It provided a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds. We arrived late on the Friday night and Mark had the heating on so we arrived to a warm house which was great seeing that it was snowing when we arrived. Mark popped over to say hello and check in on us but left us to our own devices for the rest of the weekend. I would definitely go back and stay at the Bothy cottage.

we fell for the bothy cottage from the photos of the surrounding countryside...the cottage itself lived up to those promises. beautiful cosy and with all you need including well stocked fireplace! marks arrangements were helpful and simple to follow. the rooms were clean, tidy welcoming with useful maps and things to do.

This place is a great little getaway in the Cotswold and very conveniently located for walks and excursions. Mark, the host was very friendly and helpful and also has a lot of recommendations for walks, restaurants, contact numbers in the Bothy. The place itself is very well maintained and much more spacious than the exterior lets on.

Sarah and George offer a fantastic B&B in a beautiful period property. Superb hospitality and excellent locally sourced food (including plum jam from the garden!). I cannot recommend this highly enough.

I hesitate to write too much about The Old Rectory and host, Sarah, lest they become so much in demand that we can't get availability again. The location is beautiful, well placed for car access to Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire generally, as well as the M5. A reasonably fit adult (no longer me) could walk to Gloucester Cathdral in30 to 45 minutes This listing is a beautiful period building; character bedrooms en-suite or with nearby private bathroom. We were booked in the room with private bathroom adjacent but, Sarah explained, circumstances allowed her, if would like, to juggle us into the large, bay-window-overlooking-garden en-suite room for our 4 night stay. It was a dream stay. Our original room was fine, but as older people we appreciated the en-suite. Its shower is a phenomenon, I promise you. The breakfasts could sustain you the whole day if needed. Try the sausages from a nearby farm-butchery. As a host, Sarah goes above and beyond what you'd expect - and be well satisfied with - from B&B. An old friend was free to call in, so we proposed to make coffee for him from our room supply, and have it in the garden. Checking with Sarah this was OK, she insisted on brewing us coffee in her kitchen and serving it to us on the garden while we caught up. "Highly recommended" scarcely does it justice.

We were up for a family wedding and filled all four rooms, all rooms were immaculate and spacious. Sarah was an excellent host and couldn't do enough for us with tea and biscuit's on arrival and the most fantastic breakfast which as well as a full english included homemade smoothie and Jams! Sarah offered to take pictures in her lovely garden of us all dressed up and dealt with the excitable children very well! We can't recommend Sarah enough, thank you!

I can highly recommend Sarah's house. The Old Rectory is a beautiful place to stay and Sarah is the perfect host.

Myself and Hannah would like to say thank you for being such welcoming hosts. The location was exactly what we were looking for with a couple of easy to reach pubs serving good food and drink. Both the room and breakfast were outstanding. All in all, despite it being arguably the busiest week in Cheltenham and the surrounding areas, we would highly recommend any visitors looking to stay at Sarah's property!

Would highly recommend a stay here to anyone; Sarah makes an excellent breakfast, the house is lovely and cosy and best of all is equipped with a friendly cat. Thank you for hosting us!

The cottage is a dream cottage! I stayed in the Annex and it was the perfect combination of privacy and shared living. The bed is from heaven and after long days and distant travel I slept very sound and comfortable sleeps. The courtyard is so dreamy and peaceful a little slice of relaxation. The host goes over and above: she is helpful, informative, friendly and if you're a dog lover Bailey will steal your heart. Easy access to good food, shopping and buses and Jules provides a very thorough introduction email. Only a Short taxi ride to the train. Cheltenham is such a quaint town and the cottage only adds to the magical experience. I would return anytime when visiting and can highly recommend to any airbnb travelers.

We were met by Julie, the neighbour, who made us feel welcome. She also fixed up a few issues with bulbs. The location is great, an easy walk into town. Parking an issue though. We found the Brewery car park the best option. The Nest itself was lovingly decorated and the garden a haven on a warm afternoon/evening. It's probably best suited to weekend get-a-way rather than a long stay. We were travelling internationally and had two suitcases that couldn't fit/be stored at the Nest (unpacked and left them in the car). Also self-catering options are limited as the kitchen is really only equiped for very basic cooking. That said we enjoyed our stay.

" A little slice of cozy luxury" is how I would describe Bluebell. This was my first trip to Cheltenham and I loved the town but loved Bluebell Cottage more. I stayed in the annex that was a lot more stylish than a lot of the luxury hotels I have been in. I also had total privacy which was great. The rest of the cottage really is a world on its own. I loved the decor and was made welcome and comfortable by the owner - without doubt the hostess with the mostess - who allowed me endless cups of tea as I lazed on the sofa. She really does make you feel as if you are staying with an old, very stylish friend (She is a fantastic photographer btw and I loved her fine art nudes) And Mr Bailey is a total star! It easily ranks as one of the best places that I've ever stayed and I hope to make a return to "Planet Bluebell" very soon! Giles Brown, Marbella, Spain

The accommodation was exactly as it looks in the picture. Very boutique and pretty. Unfortunately the courtyard at the front had a large sand pit as there was obviously building works of some sort going on and the small back outside area there was old rubble and dirty old cushions thrown to one side. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we both slept very well. Overall disappointing.

Lyra was very kind to upgrade me to this private unit and was a great location for my stay. So easy to walk to the main part of town. Cute, eclectic place. All three doors use the old style English keys which took me some time to figure out. I would definitely go back.

The Nest is a very cosy and unique little hideaway, very quiet and 5 mins walk from the centre of town... upon arrival Lyra had made it really welcoming, with the various lights, music etc. There's not a lot of room inside, nor a desk to work on which was a slight issue for me, but if sunny, there is a lovely little out door table / sofa... i struggled to get decent wifi performance.

The Nest is a wonderful place to stay, it is very beautiful and convenient for all the life in Cheltenhamham. I would suggest if the larger garden is no longer accessible to remove the photos from the listing as I was looking forward to sitting there and having pre-wedding photos there with my bridesmaids. Another contact number would also be helpful as the hosts mobile phone was inaccessible during the day. However everything else was wonderful, the bed was a dream and the shower fantastic. All in all I'd say 4 stars
