The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

The M&M gîte is a small house located in the quiet Teyssodaise countryside. This cottage comes with a swimming pool reserved for tenants, open throughout the summer season. This cottage is independent of the main house where we live. We do not accept other pets because we have our dog Tina and our two cats Gigi and Jojo and 4 chickens. We are located 15 minutes from Lavaur, 50 minutes from Toulouse, 25 minutes from Castres.

This house 5 minutes from the center of Castres welcomes any solo traveler, couples, friends or family. Check-in possible by Laurie-Anne or Jérôme after 4pm or self check-in (code box for keys). This cottage is completely self-contained. Dedicated outdoor parking. Business travelers are also welcome.
