In the neighboring towns of Rorschach, Heiden, and St. Gallen, you'll find a variety of shopping options and restaurants to suit all tastes.

Spend the night near Lake Constance, along its famous wetland nature reserve. Located in the centre of a village with a supermarket & restaurants walking distance, our small studio apartment is self checkin with free parking. A 3 min drive to Lake Constance (or 30 min walk), 10 min drive to Swiss Appenzeller mountains, or a 30 min drive into the Austrian Alps, it is ideally located for adventures. You can even add the use of our amazing Estonian Iglu-Sauna to your stay, for €25/guest/day.

Stay in Berneck

Enjoy the simple life in this quiet and centrally located accommodation. Berneck is connected to the SBB train station Heerbrugg and the Appenzell region by the Rhine Valley bus and the Postbus. The highway connection is at your doorstep. In the well-kept restaurants you can drink Bernecker wine, which is pressed by vineyards in the village. On the signposted wine hiking trails you can learn interesting facts about viticulture and winemaking. A visit to Berneck is worthwhile in all seasons.

The house is located about 15 / 20 minutes by car from some of the areas finest ski resorts like Mellau / Damüls, about 35 / 40 minutes to Austrias best and largest ski destination, the Arlberg, which is connected via Schröcken / Warth by direct cable car connection.

* Skiing / biking / hiking / swimming * The house with garden and pool (seasonal) offers a sensational view over the Rhine Valley to the Swiss mountains. It can accommodate 6-7 people. Hiking and biking tours start right by the house. Bregenz is about 1 km away from Lake Constance 10 minutes. The Bödele (ski resort/hiking) is about 25 minutes away. Within 40-60 minutes you can reach the most beautiful ski areas (Lech, Zürs, Silvretta, Bregenzerwald, Damüls, Mellau, Warth).

Two modernly furnished rooms in an architect's house for up to two guests in rural Walzenhausen with separate entrance and an ensuite bathroom. The view over Lake Constance and the ambience make a relaxing stay possible. A kitchenette is available with a microwave, fridge, coffee machine and a kettle. The village centre (public transport, bakery and pizzeria) can be reached on foot in two minutes and is the starting pint for many activities in the region.

Your exclusive getaway with 360-degree views of Säntis/Lake Constance and yet so close to attractions such as St.Gallen/Appenzell. This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

Unfortunately, the furnishings are not suitable for children.
