Awesome home in Saint-Montant

A super gite with lots of character and a superb position - 2 minute walk to cafe/restaurants and shops but still peaceful and secluded. Absolutely charming village with a number of walks straight out from the centre. The gite is ideal for groups who want a bit of privacy as there are 3 distinct bedroom/living areas with separate entrances. The basement bedrooms do not have internal access to the main house and as mentioned in previous reviews there is dampness in some of the rooms and Wi-Fi is available in just the main kitchen and living room. It would be great for a number of couples or 3 or 4 families with children. Be aware that the main house and basement bedrooms are separated from the pool area by a public footpath. So there is not a ‘flow’ between the main property and pool. The path isn’t often used so it didn’t matter to us but very young children would need to be accompanied. We had a great stay and loved the area.

We found this ideal house for this weekend with our children. We appreciated the high quality of the accommodation. This renovated house with a lot of taste is very comfortable with a maximum of amenities. Just one thing, we would have appreciated a 160 bedding. The large windows overlooking the valley allow you to make the most of the outdoors. The pool temperature was perfect. In short, everything was perfect, a big thank you to Sébastien who is very friendly and who was very responsive to our request. We recommend. Pierre

We had a great and relaxing stay at Laszlo & Philippe's. The place is very pleasant, at the foot of the medieval village, and the pool is a treat when the temperatures rise. It is also a great location to crawl and visit the perched villages as well as the gorges of Ardèche. Finally, Laszlo & Philippe are very nice hosts, available and welcoming. Really great!
