Pompadour Charming House

The cottage sits in it's own grounds of just under 2 acres with a small forest to the rear and backs on to local apple orchards. There are two double bedrooms (both bedrooms have cooling fans for summer and heaters for winter) a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge, microwave etc an open plan diner and comfortable lounge. There is french and english satellite TV, Wi-fi Internet and there is a covered terrace which faces south for outdoor dining.

We look forward to welcoming you into the characterful 'Petit Manoir' in the heart of the Perigord Vert. Our extensive gardens are the perfect place to relax, or if you wish to venture further, there are plenty of walks from the front door. The charming wing includes a master bedroom on the first floor with adjoining pigeonnier for use as study or extra bedroom, while the ground floor comprises a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, kitchen, open plan living/dining room and an exercise room.

Come for Autumn Winter 2025/6 with a 30% reduction!! (Already applied) A charming farmhouse set in 10 hectares of land, in an enviable position with exceptional views. To be enjoyed at any time of year. Search for orchids in Spring; laze by the (shared) infinity pool in Summer; enjoy roast meats and chestnuts in the fireplace in Autumn or cozy up next to the Christmas tree with family in Winter. Saint Robert, one of ‘Les Plus Beaux Villages des France’, is only a few mins away or 20 min walk.

The Estate under the Abbey

A cozy gîte (43m2) located in the countryside 5 minutes away from the horse town of Pompadour. Here you will find a beautiful castle, racecourse, eateries, terraces and shops. There are nice villages nearby, with markets, hiking trails, swimming lake and swimming pools within driving distance. The gîte has a private parking space and an enclosed garden. Pets are allowed in consultation. We charge a surcharge for this (indicate when booking). Parties/indoor smoking and vaping are not allowed.

Our cottage is a "little house in the meadow" located in the heart of the Périgord Vert and at the gates of Limousin. This farm was established here in 1810. Historic barn MH. Wooded area of 5000 m2. We have preserved the traditional character of the house, in a setting that is open to nature. Important: pets are accepted after agreement with the future host – Our property is not fenced. Gite situé en pleine nature corrézienne a deux pas de la Dordogne. Le gîte se situe à côté de notre maison, il s'agit d' une ancienne grange qui a été réhabilité avec des éléments naturels. L'endroit est magique, paisible, un lieu d'excellence pour le calme et le ressourcement. Venez vous imprégner des odeurs de fougère, de mousse et écouter les oiseaux au réveil.

The cabin house

On the forest side and in the heart of a set of two traditional Périgord houses, the calm is total and the place lends itself to positive introspection, alone or as a couple. Just one essential in winter: throw a few logs in the stove, and turn on the fan in summer if you like it. 2 bedrooms are available in the accommodation.
