The cottage was great and the host was responsive. On the other hand, it is important to know that the chalet is positioned in a parking lot behind the restaurant. The location is more or less peaceful and lacks a little outdoor layout.

I grew up in Fort Kent so I knew where things were and about the train. I didn’t know that they have changed the time of the train. But I feel back to sleep. It’s a quiet town not much to do. But great to relax.

We loved our stay here! My friend and I stayed for a whole month and we enjoyed spending time on the lake. Mark, the host was very helpful and responded quickly anytime we needed something. The outside building doesn’t have AC or heat, so it was a little muggy out there. We ended up just using the main house. There was a little dust underneath furniture etc… but overall was clean and organized. They area is beautiful too! If want a quiet, small, cozy retreat, this place is very nice.

Lovely stay at the Cedar Haven! It was a peaceful setting and had beautiful views of the water. The house was spotless, and incredibly cozy—everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen had essentials for cooking and the fire pit was perfect for evenings. All necessary amenities were included. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and thoughtful—they made sure everything was just right for our stay.
