The house is a traditional Normandy longhouse, made of granite, wood and tile. There are 185 square meters of indoor space. The farmhouse has been sensitively restored using traditional materials. La Pichardiere sits in the heart of the Normandy countryside far away from busy traffic in a secluded two acre garden set in a corner of a regional park (equivalent to a National Park in UK) -- It is a place to escape from city life! I love its peacefulness and the presence of the natural world.

The Japanese Pavilion

The Japanese Pavilion, modeled on Japanese ryokans, is an unusual eco-lodge, unprecedented in Normandy! It is made entirely of wood, on stilts, partly planted directly on our vast pond, towards which it offers a remarkable view. Zen atmosphere guaranteed!

Cider press refurbished as a flat

The Pressoir is independent from the Manor house. A lawn and a large pond separate the two places. The kitchen is fully equiped. A large room shares lounge, fire place, large dining area and kitchen. The bedroom, bathroom and toilets are separated.

Suite in a Norman house

This accommodation, independent of our house, near Flers, La Ferté Macé, is located 2 km from Briouze where the main shops, the train station and the marsh of Grand Hazé are located. It is also about twenty km from Bagnoles-de-l'Orne, a spa town.
