Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Hilaire-de-Chaléons

Le Collet was the perfect place to finish our French holiday and our only regret was that we hadn’t booked to stay longer. Catherine and Laurent were really friendly and accommodating. Directions were clear and easy to follow. The house is lovely, well-equipped and comfortable and the outdoor space makes it really flexible. We absolutely loved the area and definitely need to come back to explore more. We only managed to do one of the recommended walks (though it was 18km and we even saw a coypu - ragondin!). The guinguette in town on Saturday was great, but we also enjoyed having the option of local restaurants we could walk to. We would definitely stay again and recommend Catherine and Laurents place to everyone.

We loved staying in Alexandrine’s guest house! So much love was put into the space, which is felt in every detail. She curated books for our child and equipped us with everything we needed during our stay. We were warmly welcomed by Alexandrine and her children and received some very helpful recommendations for a trip to the beach. We’d always stay here again if we come back to the area. We had a great time at Karine's place! The accommodation was clean, many amenities available. Karine was very responsive in communicating and flexible with schedules. I highly recommend this accommodation for a good time with family or friends!

The apartment offered is very clean, Béatrice provided all the bed and bath linen that was impeccable. She welcomed us warmly and showed us the possible activities around the cottage thanks to many leaflets and maps made available. This accommodation is located in a quiet area. Lovely apartment in the center of town. We could park the car close by since it’s in a car restricted area. The apartment is charming and very comfortable beds, spotless clean and practical kitchen utensils. The area is close to restaurants and shops. We got great recommendations by the owner about local attractions. We would definitely stay there again.

Pleasant stay in Catherine's accommodation. Very good points: -> It is over-equipped compared to what I have seen in other Airbnbs. -> Written recommendations save valuable time and are written in 3 languages: French, English and Spanish. Perfect for an international clientele. I would like to draw your attention to 2 points: 1- Although it is noted in the listing ("Not included" paragraph), there is no Wifi in the apartment which requires you to use your phone connection for Internet access. 2- The apartment is impeccably clean with many recommendations because the cleaning is not included in the service. On the day of departure, remember to set aside enough time to make it as "clean" as the day of your arrival.

Very good stay, welcomed by Christopher's parents, the apartment is located across the street from Pornic train station right next to the port with all its shops. The plus: the private parking space 😊
