Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Julien-de-Peyrolas

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Wir bedanken uns bei Antoine und Aurelie für einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Tolle Gastgeber, immer freundlich und hilfsbereit mit vielen Tipps für Ausflüge + Restaurants. Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben. Es war alles in guter Qualität und ausreichender Menge vorhanden. Der Pool hat die teilweise große Hitze erträglich gemacht. Nachts war es angenehm kühl, so dass man morgens sehr erholt aufgewacht ist. Die Natur ist unbeschreiblich. Hunderte Schmetterlinge und üppige Vegetation. Für uns einmalig. Für unsere Hündin die totale Freiheit. Auch zusammen mit den netten Gastgeber-Hündinnen Ipa und Lumi. Vielen lieben Dank - wir kehren sehr erholt nach Hause zurück. Zur Umgebung: ein Landstrich geprägt von Flüssen und Wäldern. Im Juni wenig Tourismus und somit sehr ursprünglich. Regional eine gute gesunde Küche. Für uns ganz neue Eindrücke von Frankreich. Viele nette Erlebnisse mit freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Franzosen. Mediterranes Klima. Wir kehren gerne zurück.

Maison très grande et agréable pour des grands groupes. Tout est réunis pour passer un bon moment. Dommage qu’il n’y ai eu qu’un frigo sur les deux qui marchaient.

We LOVED our stay in Avignon! The location is absolutely perfect. The home is large enough to host a big family, the pool was a special beloved feature of our children. Robin bought us groceries ahead of time and the amazing Rosè wine available was delicious. A perfect stay! We fell in love with Avignon.

Wij hadden een prima verblijf in dit mooie huis voorzien van alle comfort. Het huis ligt gunstig een eindje buiten het dorp. Heerlijk rustig, vooral s’ nachts! Onze hond had het er erg naar zijn zin. Je kunt fijn wandelen in de directe omgeving, te midden van de wijngaarden en met uitzicht op de Mont Ventoux. Grote supermarkten zijn vlakbij en ook is er op dinsdag een grote markt in Vaison. Dit is een leuk plaatsje met winkeltjes en restaurantjes. Er is genoeg te doen in de omgeving. Heerlijk zwembad! Contact met de verhuurster verliep prima. Dank voor deze heerlijke vakantie!

Christophe und Nathalie sind ausgesprochen freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Wir waren sehr angetan von der großzügigen Wohnung, dem schönen Garten und dem tollen Salzwasserpool. Außerdem gibt in der Umgebung noch so viel zu sehen, dass wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen werden.

Pictures of the terrace can’t possibly reflect how fabulous it is. Same for the primary bathroom views. And it’s all very private. Parking is easier than we expected—5 min walk to public parking—buy a monthly pass for 20 Euros, and you’re all set (thanks to Rogier for giving us that tip!). Gordes provides easy access to all of the villages of Provence. Definitely a 5-star stay and a 5-star experience.

Une parfaite petite maison pour s’évader ! Idéalement bien placée dans les Cévennes, hyper calme, décorée avec beaucoup de goût et bien équipée. Avec en sus piscine et belle piste de pétanque … Et des hôtes disponibles, réactifs et très sympathiques !

Magical!! Andy and Jess have an absolutely beautiful place that embodies what Airbnb is all about! The decor is well thought out and gorgeous with beautiful French antiques and comfy furniture. The yard was massive with a perfect swimming pool, big grassy area, and places to sit in the shade. We made dinner one evening and sat and chatted with our host which was probably one of our favorite nights. Andy was so warm and welcoming and gave us lots of tips for cute towns and markets. The animals were the happiest pets I’ve ever met and it was fun to hang out with the 2 sweet dogs and friendly cat. Can’t say enough good things about this property. You can feel the soul of it as soon as you enter and I only wish we’d had more time here on our trip through France. Thank you Andy and Jess for your hospitality!

Fab place, great social spaces for our group. The location was gorgeous. Lisa was very accommodating and let us check in two hours early and communicated well throughout. We all enjoyed our stay at the house and thought it was very reasonably priced. The parking area is very tight behind the gate if you’re driving a large people carrier, so takes a little while to park, but still serves its function well. A neighbour dealt with us during our stay - only speaks French - so good to keep this in mind if you don’t have a member / speak French yourself. Luckily one of our party spoke French, so it was fine. The neighbour wasn’t very warm but definitely didn’t take away from a beautiful place in a gorgeous village and a great stay. It was clean, the pool and games were fab, and the BBQ was brilliant. Definitely recommend the local cafe / pub for drinks in the evening too, it’s gorgeous!

We loved our stay at Anais’ property. She was very kind and understanding in her communications when we had a family emergency and allowed for some very much appreciated flexibility. Thank you so much, Anais! The house is beautiful, in a very remote, peaceful area amongst vineyards. The views are gorgeous and it is wonderful to be surrounded by so much nature. We loved the markets recommended and enjoyed long days in the pool. The shallow end is perfect for young children and the hot tub was also nice for evenings. The house was very clean and the pool towels were wonderfully plush! We would love to return. The only things of note are that there were a lot of bees and wasps around the pool during most days. Overall it was ok but three of us did get stung (so good to know if you have an allergy). We also had the crow that other reviewers mentioned knocking on the kitchen window in the morning (which is actually quite funny once you realize what is happening but did wake us up).

Couldn’t have asked for a better house - ticked all the boxes and was conveniently close to Avignon without being in town. The house was spotless with all amenities thought about. Pool, loungers, outside dining was brilliant. Will definitely be back.

This old converted water mill makes a lovely family house, perfect for all generations. It is isolated (no need to worry about children screaming in the swimming pool) and surrounded by beautiful countryside, with signed hiking trails in all directions. You can walk to the very attractive village of Lussan for an ice cream or drink, (but any sort of food shopping does mean a car journey.) Our group comprised grandparents, parents and three children (aged 3 to 8). The children loved the pool, the trampoline and the bikes. The adults enjoyed boules and molkii. (There's also table tennis and lots of board games.) Vincent, the owner, lives close by and we were amazed at how quickly and efficiently he came round to deal with any little problems.

Nous avons loué cette jolie villa entre amis et nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est très spacieuse et très bien équipée! Le faite que les chambres soient faites à notre arrivée est un vrai plus. Plus qu’à poser les valises et profiter… L’extérieur est un petit havre de paix avec la piscine, le terrain de pétanque… Les enfants étaient ravis également de pouvoir courir dans le jardin et y faire de la balançoire. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !!

Annick est une hôte très réactive et amicale le logement est vraiment chouette je recommande !

C18 mill of great charm, surrounded by lovely garden, all restored and brought to life by Isabelle. Utterly peaceful. Within 10 minutes' drive from unspoilt village with excellent food shopping to provide for delicious meals in the garden, serenaded by nightingale and turtle dove. Bats and tuneful frogs in the evenings. Beautiful walks from the door along dusty lanes with verges full of wild flowers. Avignon, Orange, Glanum, Nimes, Camargue all within driveable distance. Isabelle could not have been more friendly and welcoming and we hope to visit again one day.

Nous venons de passer 15 jours et le beau temps était au rendez-vous, pour celles et ceux qui recherchent le calme et la quiétude c'est le lieu idéal ! Christine et Philippe sont accueillants, chaleureux, disponibles et soucieux du bien-être de leurs hôtes. Ils ont été de bons conseils pour les sites à visiter, à la fois dans le Gard et dans l'Ardèche qui est à peine à 10 km Nombreux lieux à visiter notamment le pont du Gard, le Pont d'Arc et les gorges de l'Ardèche en canoé, la grotte de l'Aven Orgnac, les cascades du Sautadet, les arènes de Nîmes ....) La maison est bien équipée et les commerces de proximité se trouvent à Barjac à 3km Nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

Cécile est une personne très rare et juste parfaite !!! Sa maisonette est magnifique , et dans un lieu calme .. tout est à proximité, et tout est idéal chez elle !!! Cécile est une hôte excellente et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir et très rapidement !!! Juste parfait et rare!!!!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in in der Unterkunft von Emma und Thierry . Vor allem der Pool und der wunderschöne Garten , machen diesen Ort zu einem kleinen Paradies . Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour avec notre bébé et notre chien. Serge est accueillant et réactif. Le logement est paisible, sans vis à vis, spacieux, bien équipé et nous pouvons nous garer juste devant la porte d'entrée ce qui est appréciable.

Set on the side of the mountain with a beautiful view looking out over farmland to the east. You can hear the soft sound of cowbells from the herd below, which adds a peaceful touch. The walk up to town is short and steep, or you can take a slightly longer route along the switchback road with a gentler incline. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised—the house felt even more comfortable and welcoming than we expected. Florence & Vincent were available and responsive, but we hardly needed them because the home is dialed. We’ll be back.
