What an amazing place the pictures don’t do it justice. There was everything you need and more, it is very well equipped, from kitchen equipment, pool equipment and everyday necessities! We have two young boys and everything you require is already there. Our boys loved it, especially the play area and pool. Lovely hosts, lovely home and very clean and tidy If we are in the area again in the future we would no doubt book this again.

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful and peaceful countryside of Normandy. The Gite was perfect for us and our 19 month old son and we really appreciated the cot, high chair and stair gates provided. We were extremely lucky with the weather so enjoyed the amazing pool and played many games of Pétanque. Highly recommend and we would love to return.

Their home is a hidden paradise nestled in the hills of Picauville: peaceful, serene, with breathtaking views and a beautifully maintained property. We are delighted with our stay at this property. The house is spacious, well laid out, with several bathrooms and we were able to enjoy it without stepping on each other (6 adults and 6 children including 2 babies). The accommodation is clean, many amenities are offered (2 high chairs, a baby bath, a washing machine, a dryer, deckchairs, books, etc.). The exteriors are also perfectly maintained, with a large, fully enclosed plot. It is ideally located, close to the city center of Dives and a short half-hour walk from the city center of Cabourg. Regarding the hosts, 5/5 as well: available, responsive and accommodating! We'll be happy to go back!

We loved our stay and enjoyed the location. Only issue is uber is very limited and no bolt so make sure to use local car rental or taxi services.

Michaël's welcome is very pleasant. Smile on top of that. Easy contact. The house is ideally located for those who wish to visit the landing beaches. Initially, we planned to eat at the surrounding restaurants. But the house's facilities made us want to enjoy our stay in this place. I would highly recommend this home. Simply beautiful. The view and the location of Arnaud’s place are second to none. We were immediately comfortable and felt at home. It is well cared for and clean. Arnaud made sure the home was heated for our arrival and even had the windows cleaned especially for us, as winter weather can impact them. We had a few questions and Arnaud responded with efficient answers and suggestions. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed the home. It was so spacious and sparkling clean! Everything looked brand new and larger than the photos made it appear. Victor was a great communicator. Loved having a washer and dryer.

We’ve visited the area many times staying in BnBs, hotels and hostels. We decided on Airbnb this time and Les Mouettes was just perfect. Caroline and Brice have a lovely place which they look after with pride. It’s very comfortable, spotlessly clean and has everything you need to feel at home. Caroline met us to show us round and as we left, Brice was mowing the grass. A short drive to the Super-U supermarket just outside Port-en-Bessin on the D514 with everything you need. Some nice restaurants in the port. A brilliant base to get to ALL the D-Day landing beaches, memorials and museums as well as Bayeux. If you’re coming from the UK by ferry to Ouistreham, the D514 takes you through the coastal towns and takes less than an hour, familiarises you with the towns along the route and, conveniently takes you all the way to the right-turn onto Rue d’ecole and Les Mouettes! …… and you can call, en route, at the Super-U (a left off the one roundabout outside Port-en-Bessin) to stock up!

We had an exceptional stay at Chantal and Jean's Charle. Their warm welcome made us feel immediately well. The accommodation, spacious and clean is perfect for relaxing in a quiet setting. Its location is ideal for exploring the region, with nearby restaurants, including Arromanches-sur-Mer and Bayeux, only 5 km away. Every morning, Chantal and Jean Charle prepared us a delicious breakfast, highlighting fresh products, accompanied of an excellent homemade cake. A big thank you to our hosts for their generosity and for making our stay so memorable!

There is one *major* problem that you will see the moment you enter the property: you will **never** (ever) want to leave. You may even start thinking through how you can leave your day job and move to Port-en-Bessin. The home itself is amazing. The top of our list after over a dozen Airbnbs in the last few years. It's everything they show online... and SO MUCH MORE! It's like living in a Normandy postcard. The house itself is awesome. Amazing. Spotless. Beautifully decorated and appointed. SUPER well equipped. The town is also amazing. It's the perfect home base for exploring the D-Day beaches/sites. Look... you'd be CRAZY not to book this property. So... what are you waiting for? Great comfortable stay, location was an excellent base for visiting D Day, WW2 Normandy sites and local cultural attractions. Martine was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Gite is in a lovely quiet location and is well serviced with a good well stocked supermarket less than 10mins drive away. Would recommend.

We had a very good stay at Yuliia's. The accommodation is well located, close to the Omaha Beach area, which made it easy for us to travel by bike to fully experience the D-Day festivities. A big plus is a very clean accommodation in a peaceful environment.

We had a short but truly lovely stay! A perfect place for our family--we could all spread out a bit after a week sharing hotel rooms. Loved the location--the views were charming. Proximity to Bayeux was excellent--less than a five minute drive to the town center parking lots. Very clean, clear instructions, and thoughtfully stocked kitchen (though we didn't cook!). We'd definitely return. Thank you for a great stop on our road trip.

We really enjoyed our stay. Sandra and her husband are very nice and accommodating hosts. The services offered like breakfast, pizzas or bike rental are real plus. The house is very well placed to discover the region and especially the landing beaches. We will definitely go back!

Amazing place to stay, lovely owner and beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Relatively close to a lot of touristic sites if you are by car. Would love to stay another time, we enjoyed our time here so much!
