One of the nicest (if not the nicest) Air BnB's I've ever stayed at! The home and location was beautiful, quiet, peaceful, and pristine. The home is also close to several small businesses and restaurants that provided a super fun and unique Louisville experience! The perfect place for a small gathering of friends.

We had wonderful stay at the Shanty Boat House! From the very beginning, Colin was very responsive, accommodating and helpful; answering any of our questions about the Home, the area and things to do. The home itself was beautiful… spacious, clean, and exceeded the description and pictures. The location could not have been better… Everything was walkable, there were great restaurants bars, and attractions to see close by. I would recommend the shanty boathouse to anyone coming to stay in Louisville!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here! Beautiful big bag yard and I enjoyed the hot tub! Communication was great from start to finish!!

We stayed at Catherine’s home for the Derby and it was amazing. Easy to get to Churchill Downs, spacious living room/kitchen, comfy beds, clean bathrooms and a very cute outdoor seating area. We had a group of 8 and fit very comfortably. :)

Perfect place for our family to stay. Everything was as described, the local area and neighborhood was nice. Loved that there was a coffee shop so close. Definitely recommend.

We had a great stay. Hung out in the screened in front porch, grilled, enjoyed the hot tub and the old Derby style of the KY home. Toni was a great host and responded quickly.

Great place to stay- the apartment feels really new and is in a modern and clean building. The apartment itself is large, has a nice kitchen and nice layout (bedrooms are not connected). The area is beautiful and you are steps away from a wonderful walk/hike/run at the Falls of the Ohio state park. All amenities are there. The bathroom could’ve been a bit cleaner - I think this was a short oversight as the rest of the house was very clean and tidy.

We had a great stay! Perfect for a long weekend getaway. Close to downtown and the perfect amount of space for my husband and I. The place is super cute. Morgan and Taylor were quick to respond to any questions we had and also provided a great book of local things to do and places to visit.

Great location. Nicely laid out apartment. Though we didn’t use it much, the kitchen was well stocked; most spices and even some food. They supplied a bottle of wine and some water bottles which was nice. Plenty of towels, wash clothes, shampoo, etc in the bathroom. Nice closet, comfortable bed. Comfortable furniture in the living area, lamps (not just overhead lights, which is a pet peeve). Ashley was very responsive the few times we reached out, and checked in with us a few times to make sure we were enjoying our stay or if we needed anything. I was a little confused by the Key Cafe which is how you get your key at check in, but probably because I was unfamiliar with it. There is an app which goes with it, but they also supply a code which is easier to use. The building where the apartment is located is very upscale and welcoming. There’s an honor bar for snacks and drinks, a number of businesses in the building, and a pizza place / micro brewery at one end of the building.

This is a gem, especially at its current price point. Apartment is right in the heart of downtown, one block from 4th Street Live, a short drive from NuLu and the Bardstown Rd area. Louisville has really invested in revitalizing these areas with a ton of eclectic restaurants, bars and entertainment venues. The Apartment provides all new appliances, w/d, great balcony views, and security, with fob only access to the building and parking garage. There is a large private pool w/sun bathing area, hot tub and grill area for socializing. I was pleasantly surprised at check-in and thrilled by check-out with my decision to book with Devin and NaKayla! Whenever I come back to Louisville, I'm gonna look to book with them and would advise the same IF a one bedroom accommodates your needs. 5 STARS 🌟

Was very happy with my stay with my son. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, and had plenty to do in the surrounding area thanks to the advice from our hoist. The check in and check out was easy and with the way the courtyard is set up you have a great sense of security. Easy in and out from the provided parking spot making it nice coming in early or late from your outings. Enjoyed the time at the pool and golf simulator which was nice on the rainy days. The apartment was very clean and as described in the listing. Would be a great place as a couples get away with bars and good restaurants within walking distance. Our hoist was very responsive during our stay, didn’t matter what time or what the question was we received an answer that pointed us in the right direction during our stay. Thank you for all the great advice on the local hangouts and attractions that also made this trip memorable.

Brandon and his team were hugely communicative via text, which is actually my preference, and I appreciated his assistant really helping me out w a specific ask that I had, Kayla went above and beyond, big kudos to her!!! Would *absolutely* stay there again if I ever make it back to the Derby!

This place was fantastic for our small group’s trip to Louisville! It’s one of those places that is apart of the trip, somewhere you look forward to being back at, and not just a place to crash at the end of the day. There’s so much to do here, big props to Rachel and her co-hosts for creating such a great place to stay, would definitely stay here again!

We loved this place. It had a lot of extras that many rental properties don’t have. It was easy for my blind mother to get around inside. Lovely open areas and appropriately decorated. Amazing!! Can’t wait to visit again!!

What a wonderful property! The historic house was beautiful. The house is spacious, clean and just great for all ages. The grounds are beautiful. Lots to do outside! Not one, but three play sets for the kids! Yard games for the adults. Lots of wood for a campfire! Tim & his wife are very friendly, kind caring folks! They have put a lot of thought into the amenities of this rental. We all had a great time & will definitely return!!

“If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine”…The Ripple Inn was an awesome cabin with a lot of the amenities of home. That comes in handy when traveling with a little one. Upon arrival check in was super easy, the place was clean, and the hot tub was ready for use. Cell service was spotty but wifi solved that problem. Gas and charcoal grills for outdoor cooking options. Great view pretty much surrounding the property. Host was responsive and very descriptive with directions, check in/out instructions, as well as with suggestions of things to do locally. “Reach out your hand, if your cup be empty” and fill it with some of the sweet nectar being made at one of the near by distilleries.

We have stayed at many Air bnbs. This is by far one of our favorites. We have stayed in cabins in NY, TN, ME, MD, and PA. The description is as described. But the pictures dont do enough justice on the wonderful home. The privacy is great. Its so quiet. Just so peaceful. We traveled here on a family trip to support our niece in a national competition. We all had enough space without feeling crammed. Loved the porch to walk around and enjoy the scenery. The hot tub is a nice advantage as well to relax after the long car ride there. Julie was extremely responsive and proactive with communication. Julie thank you for allowing us to be in your beautiful home. You have a beautiful family as well. As a mom with 2 boys and 1 girl just like you. Thank you. We look forward to hopefully returning in the future.

This home is spectacular! Cozy, beautifully decorated, best stocked kitchen of any Airbnb we have visited. The peaceful setting was just what we needed. Sitting on the porch just watching the river took so much stress away! Kellie was a fantastic host. She called us when we got there to make sure we were OK as the area was under a severe storm/tornado watch. I wish I could give 10 stats!
