Holiday rentals with lake access in Saint-Médard-d'Excideuil

We stayed with our 2-year-old son at Patricia's for 5 days. The animals and the whole property with pool were ideal for the family. It was nice, quiet and the animals very (especially the dog) very tame. Patricia herself is an exceptional person, extremely hospitable and helpful. She even drove me to the pharmacy in the next town to pick up my medication. Thanks very much again!

Ideal accommodation for 2 couples with young children for a few days. If you are looking for peace and quiet and the beautiful French countryside, this accommodation is for you. Véronique is very welcoming, the accommodation is perfect for 2 adult couples We had a very pleasant stay and despite the heat outside (35° 37°) inside it was very good. The only thing missing is a little light outside to be able to enjoy the coolness of the evening on the terrace even more. The accommodation is very well located between 15 and 30 minutes from different sites such as Sarlat, Domme, the castles of Beynac, Castelnaud, Fénelon, Puy Martin etc, this allows you to optimize visits by scheduling at least 2 per day

Very well-equipped house. The single beds on the mezzanine are suitable for children and teens (not adults). Patrick, his right-hand man, welcomed us warmly and was very available.

It was simply an amazing experience to be with Karine and her family..They were all so super nice and Karine went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The house is very nice and spacious, the location is also very convenient with a local supermarket within walking distance. Beautiful scenery around. The host was always reachable online to answer our questions. We had a very pleasant stay there and would recommend this place for families.

The house is very functional with lots of amenities (washing machine, dishwasher, etc.) and kitchen accessories. The location is very good because it's close to many tourist sites and activities (canoeing, tree climbing, swimming pool, etc.). We recommend Viviane's place without hesitation.

Can’t rate this place highly enough! It is the most wonderful place; blissful and beautiful views all so calm and perfect setting. The house is immaculate very clean with lovely interiors, comfortable beds and lovely bedding. If you are looking for a fantastic place that you don’t want to leave this could be it; just perfect. Jean-Xavier is lovely and extremely helpful.

We loved spending 4 days at Myriam and Nicolas' place! Everything is done to spend a quiet and relaxing time: swimming pool, jacuzzi, pond... The little extra for us was to be able to have coffee in the morning with the different animals of the small adjoining farm that came to greet us! There are many activities to do around: castles, caves, chasms, canoeing... The accommodation is clean and as described, we highly recommend it!

A lovely gite in a wonderful rural location but with good road access for exploring the area. A really well equipped kitchen and as we like to cook when on holiday this was especially appreciated. Nice downstairs space in particular with simply the best woodburner we have seen. Very responsive and friendly relaxed hosts. Recommended all round.

if you are looking for calm, nature and connection, Laurence's house will meet your expectations. The shaded terrace and garden are calls for rest and reading. The hikes from the house are great and there is a body of water arranged 5 km away to cool you down. Very satisfied with the week spent at Laurence's

We had wonderful days with Eloise and John and felt welcome from the first second. It is impressive what the family puts on their feet and with how much attention to detail they have gradually restored the entire area. A place where you forget time in the middle of the most beautiful nature, which is also great for children with a pool, climbing frame, ping pong table and countless things to discover. Our chateau was very clean and very tastefully decorated, nothing was missing and Eloise and John were always available. Thank you for this special stay with you, we will be happy to come back!
