Holiday rentals with lake access in Saint-Michel-en-l'Herm

Karen is an awesome host, providing superior service. I had the opportunity to stay with two hosts in the same resort in successive days. If i had to do it again, I would have booked the entire stay with Karen.

Our stay went very well and the accommodation contributed greatly to it, its location, its brightness, its amenities. Thank you so much for the bikes too.

Wonderful stay! The house is equipped with all comforts, very quiet and relaxing stay here. Furthermore, you are very quickly on the beach or in cities nearby. There is an organic market on Saturdays. Beautiful domain where you can walk and of course a swimming pool ! We really enjoyed our week here.

Both discreet and always available, Gilles , always accompanied by his faithful Kiki, really made this stay enjoyable. The cottage and amenities are as described and we highly recommend the place for those who love small villages, fishing or even walking or cycling.

We had a very nice stay with our 2 children. The area is very peaceful, I had the pleasure of walking / running around the nearby lake - it's a big plus :-) The stay went impeccably and we even ended with a BBQ on our private terrace. Jean-Pierre and Joëlle's apartment is ideally located 10 minutes' walk from the wild beach of Tanchet, in a quiet cul-de-sac with a parking space to park your vehicle. Very clean and comfortable, this studio has an outdoor table to sit and eat. we really enjoyed this stay where we were very well received. we recommend this cozy nest in this beautiful city of Sands!

Excellent stay, the apartment is in a good location and very quiet. Well arranged, nothing is missing for a pleasant stay. Very good hosting by Nathalie, very warm and smiling, who gave us a lot of information about the area. We'll be happy to go back.

We spent a night in the studio which is very well equipped and arranged. The studio is close to the embankment so ideally located. Hosts are responsive and self check-in is very easy. I recommend it!

The welcome was warm and attentive, and Jean-Yves, our host, was simply great: available, responsive and very friendly. It immediately feels like a home away from home. Very nice and well-equipped accommodation. Very clean with the necessary sheets and towels. Impeccable communication with our host. The directions to the accommodation were very clear. The little extra is the positioning of the accommodation on the edge of the camping area, so it's quite quiet and with a view of the lake. 😀 I recommend both the accommodation and the Concierge. Beautiful accommodation, authentic, no fuss, everything is planned for a pleasant stay. Lots of attention for children with board games for all ages, costumes, outdoor games. 35 minutes from Puy du Fou, 50 minutes from Les Sables d'Olonne.... We appreciate the basic necessities to be immediately comfortable (laundry, soap, groceries, enough to have lunch...) as well as the beds made. We also appreciate the possibility of going to see the animals, picking a strawberry or collecting an egg... Excellent value for money!!!

From the initial warm welcome which showed us the facilities and grounds we could explore we were made to feel very comfortable to relax and enjoy our holiday. The property is perfectly set up for families, the children had so much they could do to entertain themselves from swimming in the pool, basketball, ping pong and checking for eggs from the chickens! On top of this the beautiful grounds gave further walks around the lake topped off with kayaks and paddle boards there was so much to do a week was not long enough! A fantastic property and lovely hosts.

Monique's house exceeded all our expectations. If you wanted peace and quiet then Chateau-Guibert is the place for you. The house is set in beautiful gardens with a wonderful view of the small fishing lake. There are no shops - only a baguette dispenser! - but Mareuil sur Lay Dissais was only about 5kms away by car. This was a charming village. The pool at the house made it as the coast is about an hour's drive away. We did go to La Rochelle and Les Sables D'Olonne and the coast inbetween, all about an hour's drive away as well. The house itself was extremely comfortable and very well kitted out - there was everything you could possibly need and more. Several different seating areas outside as well. Monique could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a delight to meet her. We would highly recommend this holiday home, and would be very happy to return here.
